Chibi Volleyball
Full review at: https://thegamehoard.com/2019/08/04/chibi-volleyball-pc/
While perhaps not what a fan of the chibi art style would want or a good adaptation of volleyball, Chibi Volleyball is instead a bit of a polished up and more brightly colored version of the kinds of extremely retro sports games where it was more about the physics of the objects on screen than being a true simulation. The gameplay is simple, reliable, and accessible, making it easy to play for a bit, and with AI opponents who put up a good fight despite being slightly robotic at times, it’s quite possible to get a decently challenging volley going in either 1 on 1 or 2 on 2. Some tinkering with settings will help with aspects like the hit limit, but Chibi Volleyball’s amount of customizability allows you to set up matches that feel different and have extra considerations like floating blocks and different ball weights. It does feel like an orphaned minigame rather than a standalone title, but its fundamentals are sound even though it would definitely have benefited from more content to prevent the inevitable staleness.

This is a very simple yet very fun game for me, I controls are smooth and it may take a little while to get used to but they are soooo cute I don’t even mind losing…I would love to see this become a online PVP game with rankings and tournaments and with the ability to create your own Chibi but for now this is still very fun. Thank You Very Much to the game Devs. I don’t mind supporting this game and I would love to see even more content somewhere down the road, I am going to give this game Two V’s UP…thank you for this game…Ja Ne VV

Foosball - Street Edition
This recommendation comes with quite a few caveats. This game is basically a poor man’s Super Mario Strikers. It’s 5-on-5 (counting the goalies) soccer with environmental hazards and various special moves. It’s fun in a very goofy way. The English seems odd, there are bugs (including a few frustrating ones that stop the match and force the user to quit or retry), and the AI could use a little tweaking. The developer is aware of some of the issues, but they haven’t updated the game for months, so I don’t think we’re going to see any fixes. Overall, it’s fun, cheap, and goofy, so it might be worth your time and money.

This is almost a broken game…
It is barely playable and feels like a early access game. After an hour, it stops being fun and all the bugs seem to appear twice as annoying. There is something wrong with about every aspect of the game, which is a shame because the game would have be really fun, and is if it’s not buggy.
A few problems it has:
- The controls are clunky. Movement is not very responsive and sometimes buttons don’t do anything or are significantly delayed. This is very fustrating and one thing that has lead to the game being bad.

Player Power
Really great game, simple premise but addicting to push for higher scores. Easy to recommend given the low price.

Football Academy Clicker
This game gave me the feeling of a complete football player upgrading and training game. In addition, you can easily see which features you need to improve in which position your player. The matches are never boring and you don’t struggle with tactics, it all depends on the skill of your players. A clicker game where you can spend long hours and make you want to play more with each upgrade you get.

Homo Flimsy - The Ragdoll Goalkeeping Simulator
I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t had this game wishlisted for a long time. I honestly thought it would cost a bit more too. The original trailer was vague, but now that I’ve played, the trailer explained everything in serious depth and detail. Fun game, can’t wait to see what else comes out of it. Workshop would be cool to see too.
Controls feel a bit wonky at first, but they end up making sense. I hell of a lot of fun, especially for the price. I think there is a ton of potential here and excited to see it.

Robot Soccer Challenge
Very interesting game so far, very simple yet fun, with potential to add even more.
Still having some issues with the ball flying through walls, but otherwise everything is wokring smoothly and I’m quite enjoying it
Some ideas for imnprovement:
A mode without ball control and shooting
Replays for goals
Customizable maps
I know these may not be the easiest, but they would make great additions to the game

Robot Soccer, a merge between the Football Minigame in Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction and Rocket League.
Robot Soccer is of a simplistic design, accompanied with simplistic controls. You control a robot with pincers which allow you to catch the ball. You manouver your robot with the WASD keys and can either Chip the ball, causing a higher ball with less power (Right click on mouse.) or do a power shot, causing the ball to go fast and straight (Left click on mouse.)
So far, whilst being new to the game a problem I encountered is the 1v1 matches ppear to be very one sided to new comers like myself, with the matches seemingly very one sided to the AI. A noticeable feature I noticed is the AI are able to knock the ball out from your pincers and out of control whilst persuing behind you, thus sometimes making you lose control over a fairly won goal and missing a shot that is not quite lined up, whereas no matter how much I spam left or right click this never seems to have any effect on the AI as it does with me. This may just be down to my own skill level and not the games fault, however.

Super Arcade Football
I would like to write this review mainly for the developers in order to assist them with the development of their game. I think this game is a gem especially for older people like me who miss the good old days of kick off, which is now abondonware software, from amiga 500. However, I think the developers are not hitting the sweet spot for people like me. Below are a few suggestions for the developers to take into consideration.
1. In the current version, the story mode is a good start. I think you can make that story mode amazing by incorporating the aspects of the “player manager” game from the Amiga 500.

I’ve been into football games since Match Day and Football Manager on the BBC Micro. I’ve played a few since then: Kick Off, Player Manager, Sensible Soccer, Kick Off 2 and Goal! Although I never really got in to FIFA or Pro Evo. I was after a more old school footie kickabout game I could enjoy with my friends. So from the end my Amiga days until now there is a massive gap in my football games. I have never really found anything as good as Kick Off or Sensi. Then I heard about Super Arcade Football on Steam Greenlight.

Table Soccer Club
I have played this game for an hour, completed it, it has potential, more in depth mechanics would be nice but maybe destroys the point, updating lay out would do alot, Its allright don’t expect too much of it

2MD: VR Football Classic
This game is AWESOME. Played for 5.6 hours on the first day alone, it is that addicting. The throwing mechanics are nearly spot on, once you get the hang of it you can really dial in some surprisingly accurate throws. The difficulty ramps up very nicely, starting with a defense that is relatively easy to pick apart and moving up from there. By about round 3, it becomes extremely challenging (which is a good thing).
The play creation is very intuitive, allowing you to draw up your own plays adds a ton of depth to the game and makes replay-ability much higher than only having a premade set of plays. It is addicting planning out each of your routes and strategizing what situations you will design plays for (ie. 2nd and short vs 3rd and long specific route combinations). It’s also interesting as you’ll find that each defense in each round will use different schemes. For example I’ve noticed that one defense will play press coverage on receivers while another plays further off. This, again, makes you strategize even more as certain plays you make will work flawlessly against one defense, and will not work at all against another. The only downside with the play system as of now is that there are only 4 play slots allowed, but the developers are very responsive and have indicated that they will be adding 4 more soon which is even more awesome.

This game is so close to being incredible. The atmosphere is there. The play calling is there. It feels like football considering they are sled dummies. However, I have to give this a negative review. I would like a response from the dev about 1 thing before i decide to refund. The throwing is so bad. you cant put any power on the ball at all. Every pass feels like a lolipop pass. honestly this game would be a 10/10 if you just fix the throwing. I cant throw a laser down the seam or on a dig route. Hell i can barely get the ball there. Please please please give me a response that you will fix this issue so i dont have to refund. Its not the social screen either i completely have the lowest res on that and the smallest window i can get. Plus my PC is a super PC. Its the physics that need a tweak. I play QB in college and this game feels so good, but the throwing is so bad.
