Alba: A Wildlife Adventure
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is a heart-warming adventure that is one of the best casual games I have played this year. Play as Alba, the young girl as she goes to visit her grandparents on an island where the mayor wishes to build a hotel. Alba and her friend want to help preserve the nature instead. Through her kind actions, Alba seeks to collect signatures from the locals to convince the mayor to change his mind.

Quaint game with a purpose and a message.
Would be good to play with young children (so you can explain some of the situations and language to young kids- teens will “get it” without help IMHO).
English translation is quite good, though some knowledge of Spanish helps.
Some minor issues with getting stuck in terrain. If this happens, load your save, and once in the save where you are stuck, go to the main menu, and into settings. There is a “reset Alba’s position” button that will reset here to a spawn point (not where you are stuck, which seems to happen most often at the Castle- but at the start point for the day, no progress lost, just a bit of travel needed to get back to where you were).

Lonely Yuri
This is a short, fully linear visual novel about two extremely lonely teenage girls that unexpectedly find happiness in each other. It’s cliched, cute and very intimate, with a lot of scenes that are maybe not what you would typically consider fanservice (it’s all very tame visually), but rather steamy nonetheless.
The one thing you should be warned about is that it opens with the heroine going after the protagonist in a very questionable way and the consent on her part stays pretty dodgy pretty much for the whole first half of the game. It’s pretty obvious this is an older yuri title, from the time these tropes were way less controvercial, so if you have a very low tolerance for that kind of borderline-abusive romance, you should probaby skip this one. It get much better and more interesting later down the line, but I can easily imagine this runing the experience for someone (and one of the top reviews here clearly presents that sentiment).

Very very cute story.
I would highly recommend this if you love yuri stories and you’re a bit familiar with Japanese, although it is a bit expensive for a visual novel at this length, it definitely worth it.
However, if you are just interested in nice VNs and speak only English, this might not be the best choice for you. Since it has no voice, not many CGs, but plain text with an overwhelming bunch of mental or psychological activities, the text is basically the only thing you’re gonna enjoy. The Japanese text is beautiful and rather simple, I believe it requires like only N4 and no more than N3 to understand it (that’s the level where I’m at). However the English translation is…umm, I would say…pitiful. I can’t say the translators did a bad job but the English version doesn’t break the cultural barrier and doesn’t help a lot understanding the thoughts of the characters, especially Seri ~~(or Selly? Which name sounds cuter? I personally prefer
! Celery XD)~~, as her loneliness is expressed through her brief words. I played the English version at first and got super confused like “What the heck is she actually saying?”, before I realized that
! this is actually a Japanese game and I can switch to the Japanese version.

Shannon Tweed’s Attack Of The Groupies
A searing, in-depth look at the rollercoaster life of Shannon Tweed, as she grapples with both her turbulent mind and the incessant, onward onslaught of the over-keen (and underwashed) groupies. Never before has the fractured nature of existence been so accurately portrayed in pixel form.
Not so much a game as a celebrity life simulator. Not so much a game as an event.
Having said that, I do not recommend this game, because I’m unsure we, as humans, can fully handle it.

This game is like Plants V Zombies, in fact its pretty much the EXACT same thing, only with Shannon Tweed. The game is about groupies rushing the stage to get her man Gene Simmons, the lead singer of KISS. The music is a nonstop 3 second loop of music. KISS is a legendary rock group, kind of surprising the music for the game is this bad, not to mention if their music sounded like a low bitrate midi, Id imagine the groupies would be running away from the stage not towards it. Plants V Zombies has a singing sunflower that actually rocks harder than KISS in this game, never thought I would say that.

2ECONDS TO STΔRLIVHT: My Heart’s Reflection
this is and amazing way to show what some trans or other members of the LGBTQ+ community go through in there lives, i myself am transgender ans slowly giving up hope. but, to some extent i have gone through similar experiences as Hakuno with some level of bullying and hand being afraid of what others think and what they would say about me. i have been brought nearly to tears and felt sick about the bullying but i am very happy that Hakuno was able go through her transition and be much more happy about herself. it gives me some hope that myself and others can be happy someday, i’d say that everyone should play/read what struggles that Hakuno and others go through in their lives.

Loved it!! I’m surprised this game is free with how good this story is! I’m a Youtuber and I played this for my channel. It was such a good story with heartfelt themes, realistic trans representations, and an awesome cast of characters. It’s definitely worth playing for yourself as there are so many choices! There are some frustrating parts like a non-intuitive menu for turning down the sound and a cell phone screen size for the game itself. But that’s not something that should deter you from playing this! I recommend this game fully!

A Mortician’s Tale
There are things we occasionally tend to think about, but in the same time not give them much thought. One of such things is death. An image of a final frontier every single one of us will have to face eventually, which sometimes pops up in our mind, accompanied by questions like when, in what way or what’s beyond? These few are impossible to answer in a correct way, but A Mortician’s Tale does a good job at explaining one thing. What will happen to our body?
To answer this question, the game puts us in the shoes of Charlie, a young goth-looking woman, who starts her new job at a funeral home. Without a moment to waste she receives a welcoming e-mail from her coworkers and initial instructions regarding her first assignment, which is of course preparing a corpse for its rest, while following proper medical procedures and honoring the wishes of the family / deceased. After successfully completing that part of the job, our protagonist is obligated to go out to comfort the mourners and pay her respects.

I would like to start the review off by saying that despite my negative review, I still believe this game is a great experience, and a game that should be played by people who generally enjoy these types of games, you know who you are.
The game is short, there’s not much gameplay, it’s simple point’n’click stuff. Most of your time will be spent reading what the characters have to say or are thinking, and reading through your emails each day that you play, and this is no secret.
The 4th tag for this game is “Short”, if you buy this and give it a negative review for being short then you need to stop buying games on impulse, and take at least the 3 minutes it takes to read through the store page and look through the screenshots.

Arcane Arts Academy
Nice casual game , however the difficulty level is quite hard even though picked easy, need to repeat few times sometimes to clear certain stage . Since this game have 52 achievements, I suggest those who want 100% achievements on this game to go through all the achievements requirement first so can easily unlock it without repeating too much time .

I simply loved playing this game, great story, the purple cat, the achievements was fun to get and it gave me that challenge by completing all the levels on hard mode. I’m excited to see what the next adventure will be for all the wizards and witches, I do hope the follow up will be just as great. One of my favourites for sure!!
