Alluris
As you can see by my hour count, i have really enjoyed playing this game. To me this game is simple yet sophisticated. when i say simple I mean anybody can pick it up, all you have to do is be able to read. However, this game is also sophisticated because when you get into the later stages of the game, you have to keep track of all of the major options you chose and with the variety of this game, there are a lot of story developing options.
This game is perfect for anybody who feels like they need to get their creative side running again, or anybody who likes D&D should also love this game. This game is suitable for all ages and anybody can come and enjoy it.

PROS: Colorful artwork; humorous story telling; classic genre references from movies and literature; many different ways to get to endgame; not system requirement intense; great value; easily turned into a house party game
CONS: Once towns are overrun, all quests and quest items in that area are cut off; each action (no matter how insignificant) burns a day
As a lover of “choose your own adventure” and casual game play, ALLURIS has won a place in my heart. This beautifully illustrated card-style RPG offers hours of game play for a very reasonable price.

Dungeon Solver
If I could give a neutral view, that would be great, but alas, it not possible.
But I’d still recommend getting it if you want to relax AND are good at solving puzzles - as you need all heroes alive, not just the warrior to get it through, so can’t sacrifice the wizard so the warrior can attack the enemy.
You have you use the brain of yours to get anywhere, but if you don’t this game aint for you.

One game mechanic, having to press skip on every single turn, makes a 2 hour game into a 16 hour game. This becomes extremely tedious as you move through the game. the Skip enemy turn button should simple be a toggle, would make the game more enjoyable.
Since the developers are actively fixing the small aforementioned issue, it does not significantly take away from the puzzle solving value included in this surprisingly deep game.

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms
Idle D&D game? Count me in! Cute characters, addicting game play, funny story lines (sensiblechuckle.gif), easy to grind gems to pay for shiny upgrades. Kept me up hours past bedtime. 10/10.

Love this game. Played a few idle clicker types but nothing like this. Exceptionally fun and I’m sure I’ll be playing it for a long time to come.

FlowScape
My favorite purchase all year.
If you’re wondering what I’ve been able to do with FlowScape that led to my review, you can take a look at all of my projects here .
I knew the moment I laid eyes on this, I would most likely love it. It exceeded my expectations as a casual design & illustration tool that just about anyone can use. I have spent many hours putting together village & macro background scenes. The Sculpting tool allow you to create mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, as I see fit. The Painting tool allows you to create walkways. I can construct anything from realistic waterfalls to lost ruins with the Transformation tool to manipulate just about any object.

Wow, it’s difficult to say in words how impressive and relatively deep this instant gratification “game” is! Marketed as a game, but used by many as a 3D design tool. Oh, it’s not Maya, or Lightwave, or even Bryce or Blender, which is cool because we already have those. This is something different, and special, and FAST, and easy! And for all its limitations, what IS here is a lot deeper and impressive than you might imagine!
I’ve made a nice living from building scenes in 3D software for many decades, and I’ve spent countless hours working with wire-frames and pallets of textures and bump maps and lighting devices, and scratching my head over each new entries' exploration into the 3D modeling' procedures. It doesn’t replace those high-end spreads for many projects, but this WILL be replacing the high-rollers on a few projects and making my life so much easier!

Mighty Dungeons
I enjoyed this little budget game so far. It feels like Heroquest but better. Done 5 of 8 campaigns already in about 5.5 hours. That being said, one playthrough and I think I’ll be done with it. I’m guessing I’ll get about 10 hours tops out of it playing with one of the OP toons.
For the price, if you enjoyed Heroquest as a kid, this is worth.
UPDATE: Underestimated this game. I was playing with permanent death and in the last map of the 7th campaign I was overconfident and ran into a room through a secret door with 8 powerful toons all giving each other gang bonus. First one smacked me around silly.

This game sits in my wishlist for a long time but during this summer sale I decided to buy it. Started with a barbarian to learn the mechanics. Made some bad decision but I am able to finish the first 3 campaign easily. So far so good. I gathered enough points to upgrade so I have increased attack speed, attack and defense for my bloodthirsty barbarian. Rushing through Chaos Gods campaign gives me the first surprise: end boss wipes the floor with me. From 2 hits. WTF? OK maybe I missed something so let’s get back to Skeltor campaign. End boss kicks my butt. Again. What the hell is going on here?
