Bitcoin Collector

Bitcoin Collector

Absolute garbage. Controls are awkward and can’t be remapped. Time limit prevents any thought to planning your run. Hit boxes are completely borked – The air near your character will come into contact with the air near a saw and you’ll die. Control during jumps (and height of jumps) is insufficient, given the hit box issue. You’re also forced to run it in full screen, creating some weird proportions for those of us running ultra wide.

Everything about this game is bad. If you have it, the only reason to tolerate this junk is to go for another +1 to your 100% achievement stat. Spend your time playing another game. You’ll thank me later.

Grandma’s Footsteps

Grandma’s Footsteps

Inspired by the classic children’s game: ‘Red Light Green Light’… comes a… not so children’s game.

The Story

You are staying at your Grandma’s house for the weekend to keep her company. Now, your Grandma is famous in the family for her cookies! And being the ‘cookie-loving’ grandson that you are, you cannot keep your mind off of her scrumptious, freshly baked goods!

As you explore through the different rooms of Grandma’s house, you notice Grandma getting on with her day to day house-work and activities: sweeping the hallway, cleaning the dishes, catching up on knitting projects and so on…

You and Grandma are best of friends! She takes you to the park to feed the ducks, to the beach to build sandcastles together and she always has her renowned cookies an arms length away! You’ve always wanted to learn to make cookies with her, but every time you ask to she refuses, saying how she’ll take her secret cookie recipe to the grave with her!

As the years have gone by, Grandma’s eyes have been getting worse, as has her memory! She always forgets where she leaves her glasses.

She likes to joke when she tells you her bedtime stories, saying how she carries a shotgun on her at all times in case intruders try to steal her recipe!! Grandma does make you laugh, you love her silly stories!

The Game

So how do you play Grandma’s Footsteps?

Grandma’s house is made up of 6 different rooms (levels). To unlock the next room along you will need to approach grandma in the current room you are in to receive a cookie!

But Grandma is always on the look out for intruders after her secret cookie recipe!

Grandma isn’t wearing her glasses, meaning she cannot see her Grandson properly… So when she turns around… don’t move, or else her bedtime stories you so well know and love, may just become reality…

Awful

Loveless PacMan clone whitch could be also an asset flip.

Negative points:

  • Controls are horrible (endless runner you only change the direction)

  • Enemies seem to be sometimes faster / can take corners easily.

  • Hitboxes are too big. Your 2x1 character get hit on his head

  • Pill mode just for 3 seconds so that you run into enemies easy after expiring

  • Unfitting soundtrack

Rap simulator

Rap simulator

Rap Simulator is in basically a production with a great deal of humour. The action starts in the 80s of the last century. The player takes on the role of a rapper who sets up his first music studio in a rented apartment. Our task is to break out of the underground and become a part of the mainstream for good, opening our own label or creating the best clothing brand. Beefs, chases, money, green leaves, shootings, gang wars or maybe a softer way to success? The way the player chooses to reach the top will depend only on him/her. At the beginning of the game, the player’s budget is limited, so you have to decide which aspect of the production you want to devote more attention to at the cost of the other elements.

Our musical works are reviewed by the industry press, which affects our sales results. The tastes of listeners become more and more sophisticated every year, so we have to constantly create newer and newer things and use the best possible equipment. As the complexity of our music projects increases, we will be forced to hire more staff and change our premises to larger ones.

Real hip-hop events take place in the background, so if the player’s story goes well, he or she will be able to record songs together with hip-hop legends or start beef with them, which can change the history of hip-hop. Additionally, the players will be able to learn about the history of foreign hip-hop. In the game you will find, among others, elements related to the legends of rap. The rap songs by various artists, which will be played in the background, will complement everything.

Game elements:

  • Start a game in the 80s as rapper

  • Editor (create new character, edit other npc/rappers etc.)

  • Change the history of hip-hop

  • Research new technologies etc.

  • Move into bigger music studios

  • Unlock secret characters

  • Multiplayer

The Tale of Doris and the Dragon - Episode 1

The Tale of Doris and the Dragon - Episode 1

The Tale of Doris and the Dragon - Episode 1 appears to be a game first seen on good ol' Newgrounds, bearing a quite short, yet immersive experience of an old lady (who is not immediately aware of their own death, which appeared to happen in possibly sinister circumstances), following her journey through the void and afterlife in hopes of meeting up with her husband once again, this time with updated visuals.

A rather annoyed, yet very helpful british dragon will assist you as much as he can, being able to be called at any time with a phone-like device that you obtain quite early on.

11/10 would use Transitional Support again.

Short but good game - it only took about an hour for me to complete.

I really enjoyed the funny and unique characters. The voice acting seemed perfect to me and really made this game more enjoyable - reading lots of text can get boring. The pixelelated graphics were simple but effective and the soundtrack was decent.

I would have liked for it to be longer (Episode 2 is going to be much longer though) and felt the last rib puzzle was a bit unfair (I’m pretty bad with music and had to search up a tutorial on how to play Fur Elise).

ARRAYNIUM

ARRAYNIUM

A nice short puzzle game. Would be better if there were more hard levels or support user-generated levels.

The timer, the gold/silver/bronze mechanism and the ranking are unnecessary features in this game, as there is always a single solution. No points in forcing player to go back and solve the puzzle with a better time.

Pricing wise, grab this game on sale or in bundle for $1 or less.

Honestly, a fun and cute puzzle game. What I got was a set of 20 challenges, some pretty easy, some a little bit difficult (but not impossibly so). If you’re looking for a simple brainteaser then this is a good bang-for-your-buck. But I’d say pass it if you’re looking to jack your blood pressure up and pull your hair out over a puzzle.

3.99$ not expensive for such games.

Bitcoin Collector: Spinners Attack

Bitcoin Collector: Spinners Attack

Seriously, what do you expect from a game with “Bitcoin” in its title? =P

I think that Steam hosts dozens of “bitcoin” games and they’re basically just achievement spam clickers, or idle crappy things.. some of them are just like “click here for x times” and can be completed in 5 minutes..

But the Bitcoin theme is definitely something that isn’t inside my deepest interests, yeah.. even if I studied as an accountant.. but I became a failed historian..

Anyways, this shovelware tells us that it’s a “colorful game” in which “you must avoid traps, evade spinners and collect bitcoin’s (sic.)” - yeah, bitcoin’s, and well, “changing gravity and teleporting”..

Blocks Must Fall!

Blocks Must Fall!

blocks must fall is yet another game where the clue is in the name: step on every white and gray block to make them fall to open the exit and leave the level. the end.

100 levels unlocked one by one, and of course there are a bunch of mechanics introduced every now and then. ice blocks are a staple, as are portals, then there are green squares thrusting you 2 tiles away, arrows taking you for a ride until they hit another block, and railroad tiles to use at your convenience. diagonal tiles make additional safe blocks appear in four directions, swappers and rotators act according to their name, and the carousel spins you around like a record.

Same game as Blokker , with new levels and a slightly different (and slightly worse) aesthetic.
