Would I recommend this game? Yes! But to be honest, there are just about as many cons as there are pros, but first I will go to why I love this game so much -
Pros:
What can I say? I love each new thing added into the game. Every time the dev adds anything in, it seems to liven up my map even more. Things like smoke, water, and flags in the cities will move, and add a bit more life to something basic.
You can view your map in multiple ways, from grids to old time maps to elevation levels.

Just like other phone building games. Cute if you like animals. Frustrating though as you progress, you need gems more and more. I’ve gotten to the point where all my quests require 100 gems or so, and I have none. So…that takes a lot of fun out of it. Gems slowly come with time. So it mostly just means, logging in, quick collection, leave. Doing this day in and day out until you can get the animal or whatever. Then ta-da! Another quest that requires 100 gems! I think I have 7 or 8 now. Each time, has been replaced by another. Really draining now. But love the animations of the animals. Cute. So, short time fun, long time drain.

Castle Flipper
i had 9 games on my wish list for the last 6 months and finally one of them came out—Castle Flipper. I love House Flippers and have about 400 hours on it. My first thought was this would be similar, but after reading the numerous negative comments, I realized it wasn’t. There were also complaints that the quests were completed in 10-12 hours and that was also a turn off. However, the Devs responded and explained the concept of building a castle after the quests.
The game was listed for about $5 (i live in a lower priced Country) and after some thought, I decided to give it a try. After all, everyone has different tastes. Boy was I glad. The setting and music are beautiful. I started by completing a couple of tasks and then was told to build my house. It only required a 4X4 floor plan and took no time to build. Then there were 2 new tasks, one of them was to clean up a ship. While that sounded cool, I realized that was the problem those negative reviewers had. They rushed, rushed, rushed. For example, one player I won’t name gave it a bad review saying there was little to do except the quests that took just a few hours. Yet, this player took the time to make a You Tube video of him playing the game. I watched it to pick up some tips. He rushed, rushed, rushed to complete the quests. This isn’t real life where we live in the fast lane. Slow down. Take a breath and enjoy the game. There is no prize for finishing the game quickly. He even commented that it only cost $10 so not worth the time to ask for a refund. What? Not worth the time. It takes less than a minute to ask for a refund on Steam (I know, I’ve refunded over half my games because they were too difficult.) If someone’s one minute of time is worth more than 10 bucks, then I’m in the wrong business.

First off all, I love these kinds of games. Building and maintaining your own settlement is something I can spend many hours on. Saying that you would think I would recommend this game seeing the endgame is based all around that. But sadly I cannot. The idea is there, build your own castle and collect rent. But the way this has been implemented simply isn’t satisfying. The world feels empty and barren, nothing happens beside the occasional ‘clutter everywhere incidents’ that makes you run around all the houses n clean stuff up. The visuals are great but without life within the game you quickly lose the drive to do anything.

Build Bridges
This very short (2.2h) game is quite fun. Buyed in a bundle so price was more then ok. Last two achievents are bugged. I must play level 40 twice for “First-rate engineer”, but “Around the world” did not fire. Even that “First-rate engineer” should not done without “Around the world”. The achievements stats confirm this. “First-rate engineer” percentage is higher then “Around the world”. Or maybe there is an hidden level?

A pretty simple, but fun game. It takes about 2 hours to 100% all achievements. Note that one of the achievements is bugged, but can easily be unlocked by following the solution on one of the community forums posts.

Surprisingly fun to play, especially with friends.

Fun time-waste for the money. 4/5 people completed a level. Therefore i give the game 4/5 stars.

Home Creator
I really wanted to enjoy this game, but found myself very disappointed to find that the amount of items you can use to decorate is very very limited. Also the lack of any info on how to move the camera or place items was annoying but it was easy enough to figure out on my own. It has potential to be good if more objects and wall/floor options could be added but as this game stands right now I can not recommend it. But if your looking for a cheap home decorating game and don’t care about very limited options then this is a good one to choose.

very limited on what furniture you have & you only have 3 rooms to do.
theres no option page to figure out the controls.
if you want a proper home decorating game stick with house flipper or even the tenants :)

Good things:
This game was released in 2014 but only in 2020 it was added to Steam but I’m happy that it is here now. The game has good story and dialogue and some funny moments. There are 3 maps in total and a total of 41 levels but level 1 and 2 and 41 does not have an alternate or hero versions so in total you have 117 levels to play. After you finish a level it unlock an alternate level and after you finish a map the game unlock more challenging hero levels. It is challenging to get gold ratings on them all.

Chateau Garden
I love the concept of this game, I really wish it had worked! I got it to work twice, but usually it just goes into “input not supported” and I can’t even ctrl, alt, del it. I hope this gets fixed or improved upon one day. I would love to play this game for real.

This is a fun matching game with a cute story. The best part is that for most of the levels there is no pressure for speed. Along the way you earn coins to decorate a garden. The decorating is a fun reward for earning the coins while completing levels. There are a total of 80 levels and some interesting boosts along the way. This is a delightful way to spend some time.
