Cute pictures (I’m still on the first one) I chose max ### pieces 580 in the new ‘chess piece’ cut with no picture shown. Wow, it is actually a challenge! No traditional edge pieces! I love it My main problem with most OTHER jigsaw games I’ve played is that even on their max difficulty they are way too easy some don’t even let you choose not to see the picture in advance. Here the story tickles my funny bone so far. My only complaint is the music got on my nerves after about 3 repeats (it’s a cheesy b-western movie theme) but I muted it and am playing my own play list to relax with. They have some nice touches like a sorting drawer and dark mode. I Love it cause it is quite difficult and for under $2 I know I’ll get my monies worth! If you like easier you can opt to see the picture, use way fewer pieces, have traditional cut pieces and highlight edge pieces.

5 assets you can explore in VR with poorly implemented teleport controls and snap turning.

Admittedly 3 of the environments are focused on a central location and 2 are you are intended to move around more. Some objects especially in the sub division level were rendered in different colors left eye then right eye making the objects like this impossible to look at without hurting your eyes.

Settings menu doesn’t come up so you need to exit the game every time you want to change levels and aside from languages there isn’t any options. The Help part where it has text explaining the functions is partially hidden due to black text being written over black background…

I start clicking (Beep), more clicking (Beep), yet more (Beep Beep Beep) - what;s going on? Oh trucks full

Sigh - rest

Orders, Truck loading, overheads clearing, orders, truck full - ready to go - (BEEP) - omg now what?

A very addicting game …. you start to play and…. it’s already morning…. Everything seems to be quite simple, but with each level it becomes more and more difficult. And a special thank you for the highscore! Nice graphics and music create a special atmosphere. Watch the video for details …

I had great fun with this game. voice acting was amazing. I felt bad for all the men who had to voice the pedophile teachers. It was dark with out feeling like someone was punching/looking down on others. Its a tight rope to walk but it does so wonderfully, some errors here and there but other wise I enjoyed my 8 hours. I know the dramatic edginess of it would put some people off which I understand. Some shit not for everyone, but this game does not take itself serious in the least. We have DDLC, Hunie Pop, various games taking different angels and pot shot at the VN/Dating sims genre. Sometimes you need shit that just different.

I thought this was going to be light like a bag filled with 628 pissing calvin stickers but then got sauce with a Papa John’s Piledriver when i made the wrong choice for the character.

SBN3 has been doing voice acting, writing, and other nerd magazine stuff on youtube for quite a bit. From batman beyond ill, to taste closed, to even the feature length movie dubbed over called Operation Backpackers and another one called Taste Closed Heaven aint hard to find. As soon as i heard this project dropped on steam i had to buy it.

The good: Nice soundtrack, sound design, feels responsive. Fun game

Feedback:

Switching between the channels is a pain, say you’re on one and need to go to four, you need to click 3 times to cycle there instead of just clicking the number, that’s annoying. it’s a fun game

The second level was very overwhelming and too fast of a jump in difficulty, after finishing one message on any channel one would immediately reappear and it’s too hard to manage. I’m a ham radio operator in real life and do real morse code often at 40~ wpm, and even this was too fast for me.

Welcome To… Chichester 2 - Part III : NightFall

Welcome To… Chichester 2 - Part III : NightFall

This visual novel is the last in the Welcome To… Chichester 2 trilogy, and the penultimate episode. Playing the previous episode would be beneficial.

The Story

For a short while after the events of No Regrets For The Future, life returned to normality for the protagonist and Grendel Jinx. However, with William making an unwanted return from the Happy Glowstick Funtime Re-education Camp, everything starts becoming more complicated for Grendel as she has to contend with final school exams, her parents divorcing, and an unwanted new stepsister.

The protagonist is naturally dragged into these affairs as he/she has to contend with an assassination attempt by Grendel’s father, being abducted by Grendel’s mother, an increasingly hostile (to The Council Of The Unseen) secretary and a debauched boss, culminating in the protagonist being forced to destroy The Council Of The Unseen, by using their own weapons against them.

Spanning five years from the end of No Regrets to the start of The Spy Of America And The Long Vacation, this episode concludes the main prequel arc - with a bang

Features :

  • 11 bad endings and one true ending

  • Multiple routes

  • 100,000+ word story, with an estimated play time of 6 - 8 hours. Complete the game, and subsequent playthroughs will extend the story by around 2 to 3 hours, with extra detail for certain events.

  • Option to display current route (and choice)

  • Visual impairment modes as well (font change, font size and so on)

Battleplan: American Civil War

Battleplan: American Civil War

Hi!

This is the best Civil War game I have played so far, it’s almost as good as Total War Shogun and Age of Empires 2 were, when they were released. There is a feeling of oryginality, of experiencing something that is coming entirely from the minds of the developers and not at all from the opinions of investors, managers, marketing gurus and rest of the SCUM floating in the game industry.

Sure, the game had 1 annoying issue with those damn pontoons - it’s fixed now.

Rest of the issues is just people complaining because they think that if they read 3 books, 20 articles and 100 posts about Gettysburg it makes them a specialist about the VERY first major battle of the war.

Real player with 29.0 hrs in game

Battleplan: American Civil War could get by with its minimalistic graphics if, upon closer inspection, it had some real depth in the gameplay by the way of ultra historically correct maps and commander and unit details. It doesn’t have any of these elements, and so I’ll go ahead with the only two positives I can think of:

  1. One interesting function that this game has, that I wish others did, is that all commands issued by the General must be received by a messenger. If the messenger dies, the message is not received and the unit you’re attempting to move stays where it is. Sometimes unit commanders will refuse a command – no reason is ever given, but both of these elements add some character and unpredictability.

I played it on my Oculus Quest.

Fun little game. Complete play through for myself was 1 hour.

Had quite some fun playing and I am pretty sure I will play again to see if I can do a better score in some levels. I will most likely also let some family and friends have a go at it as well.

I did not encounter anything really breaking the game, it looked pretty clean. I did like the different bowling “balls’” abilities.

Funniest was when a huge boulder did run into my play area and I was boxing it back into the enemies instead of using the regular “balls”.

You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/z4UMIkerp_o

This is basically an Angry Birds clone for VR, with bowling pigs. It’s a very beautiful game, with a very pleasing art style and nice level designs that introduces new mechanics as you go along. Unfortunately, I experienced some frustrating issues with the gameplay so consider this only a neutral recommendation.

The issue I experienced was with some of the inconsistent physics and certain elements not working as they were supposed to in order to progress past the level. In particular, there was this one level where I had to basically just get very lucky to get past it. Pins would not fall, even when exploding balls exploded nearby or they went behind / clipped through objects. You can check out my video to get more in-depth with the issues in that level.

ATOM GRRRL!!

ATOM GRRRL!!

First thing: this VN is crazy as f*ck. Don’t take it seriously. The opening of the game says it all (if you already watched, you KNOW what I’m talking about. Big E’s “special weapon”, especially. That was… Yeah), so if you feel triggered/angered by racial slurs, tons of rude words, “stereotypical” characters, violence… This game isn’t for you. It will piss you off.

BUT if you don’t mind and feel like reading something weird, go for it. Although, I recommend getting this game on a good sale; it’s not so short, but it’s quite expensive for a kinetic VN. Not worth paying the full price, in my opinion.
