Blocky Ball

Blocky Ball

Definitely an amazing fun free 2 play game! A bit buggy but the developers work non stop fixing them, and if your looking for a fun competitive game I would highly recommend it. The game isn’t spamming you with popups trying to milk all of your money, and the blocky pass is literally 1$!!! And for a competitive game like this, I’m genuinely suprised at how chill and laid back the community is, and if your looking for a fun game to play with your friends then I would def check it out.

I recommend it to others because it is a great game to play and relax. The community is fun and also there is a few glitches in the game, not very many though but it is also a fairly new game. 10/10 would recommend AND YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE;)

This game completely flew under the radar and i think its sad. The game in itself is awesome, completely original goi like mechanics, with a lots of nuance to the movement. Workshop support, not that hard to get into, you just need to know how to move and place object in unity.

Faster Than Possible

Faster Than Possible

This game is seriously just a masterpiece. It felt similar to playing a live version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules or just watching Holes (2003) for the first time. Most fun I’ve had in a while, plus I 100%’d it (steam please make it visible on my account)

Half Past Fate: Romantic Distancing

Half Past Fate: Romantic Distancing

Got this game with a small rebate (about 4$ US) ,i loved the subject, with everything going on right now,i decide to give it a shot.I find in easy to relate to Stephen(one of the caracter),also the SNES feel is great, music is nice…remind me of sone NES and SNES music, that bring’s a lot of memories. It’s not a dating sim per say,it’s more like a story driven game.

This game definitly deserve more attention. If you love story driven games, this is a nice 4 bucks who make you forget your miserable empty life like mine…The only downside,it’s pretty short(just over 90 minutes) and there’s not much of a replay value

Real player with 2.0 hrs in game

Played this after the first Half Past Fate game and caught me off guard how short it is compared the first one. That aside, this spin-off features the same gorgeous art style, good writing, and down to earth and relatable characters. I recommend it if you’ve finished HPF and want to explore some other aspects of the world and get to know more characters.

Also, we never learned what our resident himbo’s occupation is :( ..

Malicious Mages

Malicious Mages

Malicious Mages is a capture the flag brawler – Choose from a various cast of magic users and battle it out against other players to capture the mysterious blue orb.

Everyone is after this glowing blue orb. Fight other players to grab the orb and bring it to your side of the level to win. Once you get it there, you have to place the orb down and protect it for ten seconds until you score.

What’s the gameplay like?

You play the game locally against other players, the levels are completely symmetrical and you have to move across the side-scrolling stage traveling from room to room until you reach your goal. 3D characters in a 2D plane

Each player has a very low health bar. It doesn’t take many hits to kill a player, killing them is just a way to quickly get them out of your way so you can keep moving to your goal. After you kill them, they respawn quickly ahead of you in your path.

The Side-Scrolling Camera tracks the player that currently has the orb. If you go off-screen, you will disappear and then respawn ahead of the running player’s path.

The level is broken down into different rooms. Once the running player with the orb goes into another room, the screen fades and the opposing player despawns and respawns in the next room.

Each player can cast powerful spells. Spells are considered specials, once you’ve gathered enough mana from breaking props in the level you can use them to give yourself an advantage or deal a terrible blow.

Base attacks are free. Players have a catalog of free combat actions they can do to attack the other player without needing mana

What’s the story about?

In modern times, a cast of magic users fight to gain control over a mysterious blue orb.

If they have control over the orb during a special alignment, they can use the orb to summon The Painter a god that painted the night sky. The Painter will then grant them very dangerous power. All of these mages have their own compelling reasons to gain control, who will come out on top?

Please follow United Critics for quality reviews

Good things:

It is quite ok for a school project.

Bad things:

In 15 minutes you will see everything that this game has to offer. Every few levels you get an weapon upgrade but these upgrades stop at level 8. After that you only get more and more things to shoot at appear at the same time on the screen. I was able to get to level 16 and it was ridiculous. The game was throwing 8-10 objects at the same time and they do bonce off from one another so there are many object going straight down to make you lose instead of bouncing from left to right like in the first 12 levels.
