Wrestling Revolution 2D

Wrestling Revolution 2D

Wrestling Revolution 2D is a classic OUYA Game and easily one of the finest mobile games of it’s time when the market was dominated with Angry/flappy birds or cuting the rope-likes. A spiritual successor to one of MDickie’s earlier titles Wrestling Mpire(2008/11). While a true Successor has recently been released & even a 3D Sequel to this game are both on steam, I prefer this one. However with Wrestling Empire (2021) continuing to get updates & once the Workshop gets up and running that may change. But WR2D is a 1/4th the price of the new one and well worth the 5 bucks too.

WWE 2K BATTLEGROUNDS

WWE 2K BATTLEGROUNDS

One of the reason i bought this game because i wanted to play small size arcade wrestling game, and not 50GB size, with current roster. WWE All-Stars definitely a superior arcade wrestling game compared to this but the only good parts of WWE 2k Battlegrounds is interactive stage and large amount of WWE Superstars from past and present including Divas which absent in WWE All-stars. Watching the ring destroyed and throw enemy to crocodile is so satisfying and i’m impressed with the ring creation. To be honest i don’t mind with the grind to get a Characters and stuff and it wasn’t hard to get credit as long you do daily missions everyday, it made me appreciate the game more because i had to play it everyday to do daily, it’s just suck that there’s microtransaction on it and you have to be online to get reward credit. The power up is kinda feel like hit and miss addition in this game and should be unique to each wrestler and not changeable.

Okay, I got this game for free from a great friend. Love you bro xD

and I’m gonna give an honest review. Look, I’ve been a wrestling fan ever since 2001 and played every WWE games except for 2k17 to 20. Luckily this game can run on a crappy PC on High Settings. WWE Battlegrounds has a lower system requirements than WWE 2K15 and it looks amazingly good. I’m gonna break down all the good and bad on this game.

Good:

1. This is an amazing and improved version of the completely forgotten WWE All Stars, I can’t believe I’m still playing this game, I mean seriously look at my Game time. I’m pretty addicted, and yet you noticed this review is a thumbs down, read below to learn why.

*** Best Career Mode in Just About Any Game. Period. ***

I am not a wrestling fan. I do, however, like fighting games. This translates into wrestling games. It’s just good fun to bash opponents and I enjoy the spectacle.

I was on the fence about buying this game. I did, however, play other MCDickie games. This one is by far, his best one yet. So I bought this on a whim.

It’s hard to explain this game. Anything can, and will happen, while you are playing career mode. Just when you think you have seen it all, it doubles down on the WTF factor. It’s not just totally random, since it sometimes does depend upon your choices. It’s like semi-controlled chaos.

Fat Man Fights

Fat Man Fights

Overview - All Coming Soon

Fat Man Fights is an action-arcade game with a humorous and light-hearted tone that is centred around an innovative and entertaining pushing mechanic.

Compete in fast-paced, hilarious sumo wrestling games against quick-witted AI opponents for the chance to win more tasty and delicious food (like donuts! And cake! And pizza!)!

First one out of the ring loses!

Progress up the ranks of sumo wrestlers to become the ultimate sumo wrestler of the century!

In Fat Man Fights you will start off in your humble home where you are then able to select your sumo wrestling games from your TV.

In the sumo wrestling match, the core mechanic is pushing.

This is where you hold the mouse button to charge up a push:

Then when you release it, the player will push and the power of that push will correspond with how long the mouse button has been held down for.

This allows for a constant change in playstyles from offensive and defensive which keeps the gameplay always interesting and engaging.

Jumping is also a huge part of the game!

What Fat Man Fights does offer:

  • Fast-paced, fun and exciting sumo wrestling matches

  • A break from the darker and deeper games on Steam

  • An fun and unique push mechanic which is the core mechanic

  • A light-hearted and enjoyable experience

  • High replayability - easy to learn but hard to master

  • A bright and colourful art style

  • Belly flopping. Lots of it.

  • A competitive drive - leaderboards and stats

  • A well-balanced game that suits all types of players with different skill levels

  • Comedic vanity items for the player

  • A variety of maps that suit different playstyles

What Fat Man Fights doesn’t offer:

  • Multiplayer

  • Deep and meaningful gameplay

  • Incredibly well-drawn art

Hey so you’ve scrolled down this far, I’ll tell you a bit about me.

Hi I’m Anika, I made Fat Man Fights, I’m 15 years old and I live in England :)

If you have any questions or constructive criticism (which I would love to hear) please do so in the discussions of the community hub, I will always check it!

Thumb Fighter

Thumb Fighter

Your next favorite party game!!!

Thumb Fighter is a wacky and fast paced minimalist one-button fighting game.

Does it sound too simple? Maybe. It is too simple? Maybe? Is it fun? Absolutely!

After many years of huge success on other platforms it will hit the Steam Store as a premium fully featured game :)

By being this simple Thumb Fighter offers one of the most inclusive fighting experiences you can find.

Fun assured to children, families, couples, friends, you name it!

Literally everyone who played thumb fighter (Believe us, millions of people played already :) ) will tell you.

Thumb Fighter it’s a great ice breaker, with its one-button mechanic anyone can play and the battles still awake desperation, laughters and goose bumps.

Thumb Fighter’s thumbs have one and only one movement, a head hit.

Try to grab your opponent when it’s (guard?) is down until you achieve the victory.

FEATURES

  • Single Player Mode (can you defeat all thumbs and become Thumb… master…champion lord… of all thumbs?

  • Quick PvP, PvAi, Ai vs Ai (why not?) battles.

  • Tournament Mode ( Create up to 8 players tournament to define who whashes the dishes)

  • Minigames nobody asked for (but great time killers while you drool like a zombie over your lap)

  • Campaign Mode

  • More than 100+ characters

DISCARDED FEATURES

  • Procedurally generated levels (we already did that in Hidden Lands)

  • Minimalist racing mechanic (we already did that in Turn Right)

  • Online Matches (For now…. we’ll see in the future ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )

Honestly, I expected more from the game, I didn’t like the music and there’s little gacha in common, the world didn’t like it either, it’s kind of open but at the same time empty

Yes, sometimes I want to spend an evening playing a game dedicated to my guilty pleasure. Perhaps someday I would like to have all the gachimuchi games in my library. As for this particular one, one of the advantages is minimalistic graphics, which allows you to run the game on any computer, the presence of game achievements, and my favorite sounds from the gachi. Nevertheless, the developer still has a lot of work to do.

Treachery in Beatdown City

Treachery in Beatdown City

Beatdown City’s gonna whoop yo ass. If there’s a downside, it’s that I played through the game in a day, but I really do like the combat system. It makes button mashing useless, turning what could have been a twitchy mess into a beautiful strategic masterpiece. Okay, not really a strategic masterpiece, but it’s pretty sweet.

I do kind of wish that the advantages/disadvantages were slightly more influential. I love the way weapons are handled. Costing more FP to use them and limiting defensive actions focuses the combat towards disarm. And it feels really awesome to throw a Mexican Suplex on some dumbass fool stupid enough to get in your way.

Twenty-second read. Combines the forces of the masked Ryu (Ninja Gaiden (NES)) and Final Fantasy VII with a side-scroller brawler (Streets of Rage, Double Dragon) in an 80s setting similar to Final Fight (Arcade). The world map borrowed from Super Mario 3 (SNES) and the political themes alas Orama etc. stretch the games' twenty-dollar price tag over a twenty year conversion period; does anybody really think noone had thought of making a turn-based, side-scrolling beat-em up game 🎮? Is just a game that has been politicized openly yet in enigmatic ways with a cast of characters that appear to be part of a Blackmirror (Netflix) sequel. Just my two cents.
