Anti-Jump-Man
Fun! Very short (~15 minutes) but it’s free so I don’t mind. Feels like a good gamejam game.

It’s aggressively okay. I feel like this was most likely made because someone asked “can you make me a game that represents a basic puzzle platformer played by someone who has terrible visual migraines?”
Play with mouse and keyboard, pad is not optimal.

Frak!
Addictive, frustrating, infuriating fun! FRAK! is a classic BBC Micro game and this reboot brings it up-to-date for modern machines. Expect fiendish puzzles, twitch gameplay, much swearing (on your part), and that warm, satisfying feeling when you finally beat a level. And that’s on the Zero mode!
Lots of modes, lots of challenges, lots of fun! This is the way retro reboots should be done!
*** Full Disclosure ***
I, and some other members of the Stardot community, helped the author bug test this game. I have not been solicited to write this review, nor am I getting any remuneration for doing so. These are my genuine thoughts about the game. Clear? Clear!

A bit of gaming history, I was intrigued when I saw this come out on Steam. I remember spending many hours playing the original on my Commodore 64 in 1985.
The original BBC Micro version had 3 levels. The version on the Acorn Election had 9 and the one I remember (for the Commodore) had 6. It’s a pity this version on Steam mimics the BBC Micro one with just 3 levels. Maybe there’ll be an expansion to 9 levels - would like to see that because, for example, I remember enjoying the ice-themed level :)

Doughlings: Invasion
If you grew up with arcade games like me, you must play this game definitely. I have played it since closed beta for 35 hours. After break for a couple weeks it is still very fun to battle against unique bosses and invaders. Good job guys. I’m looking forward to your next game.

Glorkian Warrior: The Trials Of Glork
This is a fine Shm’up (or a Shoot & Jump’em up?) if you like it wacky. The gameplay is a bit random, but it’s fine if you are after some casual fun. Sometimes you get really strong weapons and easy enemies, the next time you get a lot of rocks and astro litter (yes, the game is wacky).
To be honest, I really glork this game and played it quite a bit. However, the randomness, or the lack of balancing, makes it impossible to take this game seriously or play it on a pro-level. There are some tactics
! like waiting before you collect crackers and weapons/upgrades - avoid certain weapons (like the Flarf) using flame spitters to generate gold crackers and get energy out of not needed equipment, and such - but ultimately you cannot fully control your own fate and you will struggle with the weak design (like angrymons take too many hits, often you get big waves of them that deplete all your energy and weapons - and then you have to start from scratch, meteor/tetris storm often break your killing spree and deplete your energy, etc, some guns consume energy too quickly, like the Flarf, or too week like the Twisty gun) and even bugs/inconsistencies (e.g. the camera view is very often not perfect, and a lot of things happen off-screen, sometimes a hit takes more or less of your hearts (but maybe the invaders are also using weapons with power mods, who knows). I am rambling because I would like to see this game in a line with some of the great invaders-like Shm’ups - but it just does not have what it takes.

As a fan of James Kochalka’s comics and records, I had to get this and I am glad it turned out to be be pretty good.
Glorkian Warrior is Space Invaders style shooter with autofire and a jump button. Instead of fixed levels, the games randomizes the successive waves of aliens as well as various other elements such as the ground you stand on or side challenges handed over by a pair of bossy sisters.
Enemies drop power-ups as expected and they are sorely needed as your default laser is slow and weak. The rare moments when you’re stuck with your default with no upgrades in sight feel a bit underwhelming.

Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town
Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town
Willy Morgan and the curse of Bone town is an interesting take on the Point and Click/Adventure game genre, based around a fantasy pirate-world theme, with generic point and click gameplay.
The story starts at Willy Morgan’s house; it’s been 10 years since Willy’s father, the famous archeologist, Henry Morgan, disappeared.

Fans of the film The Goonies will probably fondly recall the classic Lucas Arts point and click games of Monkey Island, and it is in that vein which Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town plays out, with red herrings, puzzles and a dose of humour to top it off ensuring Willy Morgan CBT makes a truly resplendent brew!

## Citizens of Earth
Rarely have I ever been graced with a Game I would consider Perfect.
With the recent failures and patches of games, its outstanding to see a game as amazingly perfect as Citizens of Earth.
But like many things my opinion can be taken worth a grain of salt, what matters to you is how much that salt is worth to you?
So if you enjoy RPG’s like Earthbound and Chrono Trigger, and games inspired by Pokémon, this game is a must have and a contender for Game of the Year of 2015.
If you didn’t know, Nintendo doesn’t show much love to the Mother and Earthbound series, only porting Earthbound to the Wii u due to the demands of fans.

Do you love Earthbound? Well, let me tell you in advance: Citizens of Earth isn’t Earthbound, even though it tries to be.
Despite that, I had a ton of fun and still think it’s worth playing, though there are some design flaws that weigh its positives down. The game has some really great graphics, enjoyable music and dialog, and lots of fun in style. I will run through a quick overview and then into some negatives of the game.
The game is an old-fashioned 2D RPG where you play as the Vice President of the whole world. He was just recently put into office with the main President, but then some absurd events begin happening very quickly. The story unveils itself slowly, in a haphazard manner, but you eventually learn just about everything that has happened, and it is funny along the way.

## Citrouille: Sweet Witches
It's not Lode Runner, but it's not bad.
Citrouille is a single-screen action game with a ladder-building mechanic inspired by Rod Land. Since there are no restrictions on when or where you can build ladders, you have a lot of freedom of movement. Combined with a relatively high game speed and random AI, it's clear that Citrouille is less about strategy and more about reflexes and adaptation. This is not in itself bad, but for how unique the ladder mechanic is, it's less deep than I had hoped.

"A classic arcade puzzle platformer game with adorable characters."
### Review
Citrouille. It's made by Lumen Section and published by Plug In Digital. This publisher has often been a partner for good indie developers. Especially among them, Lumen Section is a hidden gem. This game has been designed so that the player can experience well the developer's affection for the game. This game is full of cuteness and loveliness. Let's have a look.
Gameplay Style. This game has a modern sense about classic games. Simple but challenging and addictive. In addition, It's more shining with graphic artwork and animation effects. Each playable character has its own features. Playing with these cute witches is a really pleasant experience. Moreover, there are some game modes to enjoy. Especially with the latest update, a customizable mode has also been added. We need to actively welcome these new content updates. The developer's passion makes the game more valuable.

## Guinea Pig Parkour
![](https://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1383660/extras/GPP-GIF-Overlay3.gif?t=1634704982)
**Guinea Pig Parkour** is a **completely hand-drawn 2D platformer** with adventure elements, drawing heavy inspiration from **'90s animated cartoons and games**. It is animated and developed completely by one artist, Jeff Mumm, and features music and SFX by Fat Bard.
Run, jump, swing, flip, vault, climb, crawl, and parkour through classic platformer inspired levels. Talk to, interact with, help, and annoy a host of funny characters as you progress through a "lost '90s cartoon episode."

Each animation in Guinea Pig Parkour is completely hand-drawn, frame-by-frame at 24 frames per second - every single frame a different drawing - to capture the full, fluid quality of traditional animation.

## Hungry Horace
This port was produced by **Subvert Ltd.**, a company whose ownership of the Horace IP is dubious at best (probably best not to go into full details on this review). It's a pretty dreadful port of the original, which was itself a fairly naff clone of _Pac-Man_. If you're going to do a conversion, go the whole hog and either make it as retro as possible, with the character-based movement and 4:3 aspect ratio of the original, or modernise it with new graphics and sound; don't leave in this halfway house, where smooth animation and alpha-blended pickup animations are jammed into the 1982 visuals like a square peg into a round hole. If you're really desperate to play this game, don't part ways with your cash - just download the original 16K tape version from the internet (don't worry, it's legal, Melbourne House have consented to its distribution). P.S: The game listing mentions the inclusion of a level editor, which I have been unable to locate. I would love to be corrected on this, not that it would help my opinions of the game-play.
