Covenanted

Covenanted

Covenanted is a hand-drawn rogue-like with RPG elements and an original turn-based combat system

A contract with the devil is always a bad idea [/]

The heroine of Covenanted, bound by a contract with the Devil, is on a journey through the magical world. Pursued by the Inquisition and blackmailed by the Devil, she has to balance between light and darkness in order to gain the support of powerful allies and break the endless cycle of rebirth

Combat Alchemy [/]

The journey is full of dangers! As the game progresses, the witch collects recipes for unique potions and gathers ingredients to make her magic even more powerful. Each recipe has its own unique effect

Procedural generation [/]

The global map of Covenanted is generated for each session. The variety of locations, the number of opponents and the available rewards are selected in such a way that each race is different from the previous one

Visual style [/]

We pride ourselves on the visual style of the game. All the main elements were drawn with ink on paper and digitized. The world of Covenanted is growing, our artists are working on new characters and locations

Random events and story quests [/]

We want players to feel the impact of the decisions made in story quests throughout the game. Despite one true ending, the fate of the Covenanted side heroes remains in the hands of the player

Fairy Middle Ages [/]

When creating the world, we were inspired by the worlds of the fantasy genre, world folklore, myths and legends. In Covenanted, elves and werewolves live in the same world with the characters of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales and ancient myths

City Of Jade: Imperial Frontier

City Of Jade: Imperial Frontier

Not recommended.

I’ve played the game several times with varying strategies and each time failed to figure out a way to build a sustainable city. So after 18 hours of game play, and discussing with other friends who have played, I believe that the balance of the game is broken. I’ve tried to contact the devs but they’ve not responded.

Magic Lessons in Wand Valley - a jigsaw puzzle tale

Magic Lessons in Wand Valley - a jigsaw puzzle tale

A lovely puzzle game with a simple story to go along with the wonderful colours and excellent design. This is a game for jigsaw puzzle fans. There are only six separate pictures, and the challenge comes from playing with more and more pieces. The artwork is outstanding, especially if you like the fantasy genre (wizards in particular). This game could be suitable for younger players at the 135-piece level; however, there is enough depth to entertain experienced puzzlers.

Pros:

  • art design

  • puzzle design (clearly thought went into how the light effects add to challenge and interest)

I really like this jigsaw puzzle game. The illustrations are beautiful and tell a simple but nice story. The modes with different amount of pieces lets you play for many hours. The music is very comforting and keeps you in the mood. It has some nice features to help setting up the puzzles. The entire series from the studio is worth playing. Recommended!

Mission IDLE

Mission IDLE

I cannot recomend this game purely because it must be either focused or all other windows must be minimized.

This is an idle game you cannot idle and it feels super bad.

Worse- it doesnt mention any of this.

I might have around 24hours on record but this being the case, at least 10 of those hours was the game actually sitting there, doing nothing…………….. LOL

——–Update————-

I contacted the developer about this and it seems there was a bug in the afk code that was causing this issue.

Real player with 175.1 hrs in game

This is a simple, grindy, idle game and this dev’s 3rd game. I like it. It isn’t complicated, but it’s very easy to get all the achievements in under 4 hours. You could keep playing to make your numbers bigger, which I was fine to try, but there’s a major bug that prevents this.

Even though the game is only 6 months old at this point, no one plays the game anymore so the dev isn’t going to work on it anymore. Understandable, but there are some huge problems with the game in it’s current state.

Right to Rule

Right to Rule

Right to Rule is a game where you compete against other players by doing quests, killing monsters and gaining “Right to Rule” points, all with the goal of becoming the ruler of Drakenheim. The game is played in matches with a new victor each time, based on your progress in your game will determine your reward which will carry over via your profile. There will be many options for persistent profile progress for players to unlock, like cosmetics, emotes, even a fully customizable castle the player can decorate with things unlocked by playing.

You have many different options when it comes to taking over the vast kingdom. Pick one that fits your playstyle or try new approaches each time.

  • Fight your way to the throne using any or all combat styles including Melee, Magic, Ranged and Bard

  • Work your way up the political ladder by persuading, manipulating and bribing your way to the top

  • Gain an edge over other players by leveling up non-combat skills such as mining, enchanting, smithing, cooking amongst others.

  • Use these skills to complete a large variety of quests given by the people of Drakenheim.

  • Search all around the Island for hidden or secret areas where you can find special loot such as weapons, armor, spells, and quests.

  • Each game will be unique as quests and activities are randomly selected to be a part of each playthrough.

  • Pick a fight with tough bosses of many different types to win high amounts of Right to Rule and other unique rewards.

  • All players can attack each other at anytime, however that doesn’t mean you always should…

The city of Drakenheim has a handful of guards who will arrest you if you commit violence or, any crime for that matter, against anyone within the city walls. When you get arrested by the guards, you will be jailed and you’ll need to wait out your sentence, missing out on the experience and Right To Rule points you could’ve gotten in that time. When you die, you will need to wait to respawn. The higher your level – the longer the respawn time, so be careful.

You can embark on a quest, which will reward you with possibly special items, Right To Rule points, exclusive access to a previously unreachable area and any other advantage over your rivals. As previously mentioned, every match the available quests will be randomized, so you’ll always have a different playthrough each time.

Each match should last up to an hour, with you competing against multiple players, everyone on their own, each trying to become the ruler before you do. The player who becomes the ruler of The Kingdom of Drakenheim, wins the game.

When you win, you will get various unlocks for cosmetics and rewards according to what you have done in that match.

Lotharus - Bacon, Ale & Repeat

Lotharus - Bacon, Ale & Repeat

Lotharus.

I’ve been playing this game for a while and I gotta say, it’s a lot of fun!

The story, while sometimes quite silly, is well thought out and interesting keeping me engaged and excited to play more.

I was given this game to play on my YouTube channel but I would definitely have paid for it.

Lotharus is an amusing RPG, the art is well done, the battles are a great challenge but not too difficult, the level layout is well planned with plenty of secrets lying around (make sure you explore!) and there are good puzzles with cool, different mechanics as well.
