Rain City has about 3 hours of content and a nice aesthetic for such a low price, but there are some problems with puzzle logic and interface. I noticed that ‘Cotton Game’ is not listed as the developer, so I wonder if they were involved with this project on the creative level - I would expect more polish from them if they were. Overall, the puzzles are very similar to the previous games, and they can be somewhat challenging if not a little heavy on the moon logic. I also had a few problems with the atmosphere when it comes to the soundtrack. In my opinion, there are too many rooms that don’t have any music, that being said, I think most of the songs are enjoyable. While I understand that devs were trying to use the silence strategically, it was just too much and made the game feel empty. Additionally, the game is a bit glitchy, but I only had to reset the game one time when my character got stuck in the animation. Some of the interface problems are more frequent, there are all kinds of issues involving pixel hunting.

The Narrator Is a DICK

The Narrator Is a DICK

Because I voiced the narrator in this game, I am going to attempt to stay as unbiased as possible. Again, ATTEMPT!

The Narrator is a ♥♥♥♥ is your standard difficult platformer that, as quite a few have mentioned, is very similar to games like Kaizo Mario and I Wanna Be The Guy. Right from the very start, I rips a page right out of the I Wanna Be The Guy playbook. With a set of spikes on one side, and a apple that comes down on you like a great god above and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ destroys you, and every fibre of your being. And in the title, it already tells you what the game is about, and what it has; an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ narrator.

The Narrator is a DICK

From a single playthrough perspective I think most people who have viewed the trailer and perhaps read reviews of “The Narrator is a DICK” before purchasing it will be left satisfied with the game. The game is exactly as the trailer portrays. A challenging unfair platformer with an often lude and sadistic narrator who accompanies your player from start to finish. The comedy and gameplay catered to me perfectly.

Now, I enjoyed my first playthrough enough to play it again.. and again and again until I finally earned all achievements for the game. Having played this game a lot (probably more than I should have) I did notice that this game is not very friendly to the other masochists out there that are willing to torture themselves until they too earn the “HOW?!?” achievement (for those who do not already know, this achievement is unlocked after completing the entire game without dying).

The game is awesome. I had fun playing and making different decisions for my games and felt addicted at some stages. Non-game developers will definitely get an idea and insights into the game development process after playing this game.

Gamedev Beatdown is a turn based action rpg game with a quirky story depicting development of games in the gaming industry.

The game revolves around different playable characters from different departments of the gaming industry and gives the player a unique incite into the decision making that goes into making a game.

Even though you will end up making difficult choices that can impact your game in terms of sales or customer satisfaction, the game has a pun based humorous dialogue lines that will make you laugh and make the tough decisions look trivial.

Bright Days in Quarantine

Bright Days in Quarantine

I played a few times in a row and I really liked the time management style, makes you choose the wisest activity before your stamina runs out. The pixel art style it’s my favorite, so, if you like pixel style games, you’ll probably like this one too. As the game says “Don’t freak out!” ;)

It always gets stuck on the DVD day no matter how many times I reinstall it and replay it, which sucks since I have been asking for help for this in the disscusion since forever. Despite this I will give it a positive review as it is a very wholesome and nice game overall! Just wish someone from the dev team would check the discussion page.

GROW: Wild West

This game has interesting and fresh game mechanics. Defiantely not something you see everyday.

The artstyle is quite distinctive as well. The game itself is not that long, but has some space for digging.

For this price it is definately worth looking at.

And yes, you can get your whole village drunk, so 10/10 bananas!

This game is so sweet! You need to choose which people to invite to your town, and see how they interact with each other. There are different ways of developing your town because of that. This idea is very interesting!

Random Raiders

Random Raiders

Random Raiders is a Guild Manager Simulator that puts you in charge of a newly-started raiding guild in the fictional MMORPG ‘World of Guild Quest’. Recruit the best players you can find - balance their classes, volatile personalities and overcome the inevitable drama in order to become the best guild on the server.

Create a Guild

Design a bitchin' banner by choosing a shape, icon, and colors in our banner editor. Name your guild Backstreet Boys. Change the name to something sensible. Hit the random button by mistake while letting out an audible puff of air in frustration. These are all features we provide.

Recruit your Members

Sift through the applications to find what you need to take your guild to the next level. Need a patient priest that can dispel, played by some guy named Alejandro who lives in Burgos in Spain? We got you covered. Maybe recruit that loot-hungry tank, played by some girl named Frida from Svendborg in Denmark? Whatever floats your boat.

Go Raid!

Send your team on raids to improve their skills and gear. Watch in horror as your team brutally fails against an obviously inferior boss because the main tanks' potato PC gave out in a critical moment.

Compete against the NPC Guilds

Improve your standing on the leaderboards by killing more raid bosses. Kill enough bosses and you may even find yourself at the top, beating legendary guilds like Agitation Later, Aragon and Swahilum.

9.5 out of 10 typing game due to some errors I’m gonna start with some things that are messed up in the game, but first I highly recommend this game if you love typing games it’s challenging the story is amazing and it’s ridiculously fun. Ragers are too OP I can type around 120 wpm, but when you can only see two words at a time and the creator has the most expansive vocabulary having these things run up and 3 shot you from full health is toxic. The ragers words will sometimes not stay on top of them either so they’ll get close and the letter to switch to them will be in some random location you have to guess at, also sometimes when you kill a zombie instead of going to the closest one to you like it normally does it won’t target a rager straight up punching you in the butt. One of the later levels repeats with the same journal entry and 430 something words is wayyyy too much for one level my dude I about had a stroke especially with your huge words you use throughout plus it’s so long it doesn’t fit on the whole journal entry screen when you scroll down loool. The good though this is actually a SUPER challenging typing game which is awesome they’re rare. The upgrades give you a chance to beat it on any difficulty besides the easiest I could only beat the second easiest game mode. The zombies ramp up so heavily if you don’t upgrade correctly you may be screwed. The story is amazingly interesting and well written the library of words is expansive and everything you type is leading up to the journal entry you get to read at the end. I’m sad it’s not complete yet, but I will most definitely check out the future chapters. Loved this game. Don’t be discouraged by the lack of reviews I’m assuming it’s because people can’t beat it outside of the easiest difficulty which may be a turn off to some people and the story is pretty lengthy but great.

Keyboard Kommander gets the fundamentals right of a typing action game, but then adds several innovations new to the genre. That game has the juicy sound effects and visual effects that make the simple action of typing feel awesome. Pressing space to shoot a zombie in the head never gets old.

Built on top of the excellent arcade typing action, there’s also tactical gameplay decisions you have to make. You can choose which zombie to target, so you can take down the most threatening ones first. You can strategically choose mortar gun to do splash damage to nearby zombies or laser gun to kill several zombies in a line. So it’s not down to just technical dexterity, there’s also tactical skill and longer term strategy with upgrades.
