Welcome To… Chichester 2 - Part II : No Extra Regrets For The Future

Great cg visuals.

Great music,

Good tempo for gameplay, with scenes changing often and a lot of intrigue and plotlines, though bordering on a bit much leaving the player slightly confused with everything going on with various characters having their own agenda’s.

Reply required with different character & choices made to discover more of the above-mentioned. (single run-through you’ll likely only get around 25% of the achievements unlocked).

There’s no specific or right path required, explore from various angles to discover more of the overall story content. Knowledge of prior games in series not needed (unless needing more in-depth knowledge of things mention in the intro summary).

Welcome to… Chichester 2 - Part II: No Extra Regrets for the Future

Developer: Triority Interactive Novels

Publisher: Triority Interactive Novels

Pros:

1. The story maintains its chaotic humor and it also looks more into the background of Grendel Jinx and the main character, even giving information of the protagonist’s previous line of work before he became an agent of The Phoenix Custodians. It also acts as a buildup for the next chapter.

The Feeble Files

The Feeble Files

I played about an hour and already got some real laugh, voice acting just great along with smooth animations and colorful detailed backgrounds.

Please note: being depressed is a violation of Directives 2 3 772 and probably loads of others as well.

Since this game runs under ScummVM,use:

ctrl+alt+s to switch stretch mode,

or hit ctrl+f5 return to launcher edit game graphics there it can be set perma. also check fullscreen mode

AdvMAME2x under graphics mode - makes picture a bit smoother and without blur

This is a absolute MUST HAVE! Specially if you like other point and click adventures, from Monkey Island, to Day of the Tentacle, to Simon the Sorcerer, over to Kings Quest and so on ^^

The Feeble files in particulary is one of my best childhood memories in gaming. I love to feel this nostalgia.

Kinda funny tho, i just bought a Valve Index to play VR, now i want to play all the good old games.

Big thanks to the Devs/Publishers for bringing it up to steam after so many years. Much appreciated :)

“Third Update”

All control mapping is now working and is smooth and easy to use. Playing through for a second time was more enjoyable without fighting these.

I know mappings may seem like a “small thing to be updated” but the speed the devs have done it and their updates was what stopped me from refunding and got me to play through twice.

Keen for episode 2.

“Original Review”

This game does seem like it could be good, unfortunately running on a Vive it seems that the controls do no function and you’re unable to proceed past the initial starting point.

James Peris 2: La fuente de la eterna embriaguez

James Peris 2: La fuente de la eterna embriaguez

James Peris, the rookie secret agent 00.5 is back! He will have to solve no more and no less than two missions; yes, TWO missions in one game. Hence the 2 in the title…

This time Peris will have to deal with a mafia boss and get the lost necklace of Sant Angelo, one of the jewels created by Leonardo Da Vinci. At the same time, he will have to find the mythical Holy Great Beer, a legendary artifact forgotten for centuries. Why leave such important missions to someone so incompetent? We have no such answer.

When I saw this game appear on Steam, a long forgotten memory came back to me! This is actually my very fist video game! I remember when my parents bought me my first PC, this “new game” was delivered with the PC. I didn’t like it because it was too difficult (for a 9 year old). The cutscenes are excellent, beautiful cartoony style, but the gameplay itself is a very bland railshooter … which is fine, I guess … but if you don’t care to play this game (which is a challenge if approached without nostalgia glasses), then just watch the cutscenes on YouTube. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2536351711

What The Dub?!

What The Dub?!

Overall, my gaming group loves it as an addition to the Jackbox stuff.

It is very well done and fun! You can make it as clean or as dirty as you like which means everyone can play. The clips are weird and esoteric enough that most people won’t know where they’re from and that is perfect. I hope they add more.

I do have some minor suggestions, though.

Something more for the audience to do. Maybe they could throw out suggestions on screen or something. Just a thought. Being in the audience can be boring at times. I know more players would mean more repeating clips, but maybe have the game know when there are more than 6 and only use short clips for that game so it doesn’t get too monotonous.

As an English teacher during this seemingly never-ending pandemic, thank you for this game! It’s so simple to set up and incorporate What the Dub into online lessons via Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc that I’d recommend it to any and all ESL teachers.

The included video clips manage to be both humorous in their dubbing potential whilst also being relatively simple in terms of their language that it allows students who are A2 level and above to reliably produce clever, funny or appropriately wacky sentences. Moreover, the simplicity of the game makes it suitable for everyone over the age of 10 and the price is very fair for what’s offered.

UPDATE:

The dev made an extended version and it is awesome. The first part is the same, but the second part is completely different and much better. It got a small open world a little backstory through notes, riddles and lots of new object. The lenght of the game is now around 30 minutes. I like it very much.

OUTDATED REVIEW:

Strange, weird, good but very short walking simulator. I liked the playthrough, it was a good experience, but the lenght of 4 minutes is a bit sad. I would like an extended version of it. Visuals, sound and voice acting are great for a little indiegame.

This is my first negative review, and I’m really sad that it has to be this game. This game looks really good, the physics are ok, the graphics are just fine, the music is a little meh, but tolerable, and the controls aren’t clunky. This is exactly the type of platformer that I would really enjoy under normal circumstances. But the game is also absolutely relentless and unfair.

I found a way to get an infinite amount of lives (and even made a guide about it, check it out if you still decide to try out this game), and suffice it to say, 200 lives weren’t enough for me to beat the game (I don’t even know how close I was to achieve this, cos I just decided to quit).
