Occult Crime Police
Personally I don’t know the “Phoenix Wright” game(s) that many reviewers are referring to.
I just think that this game was fun. It has amusing animations, some good dialogue and funny moments.
This game’s basically a visual novel-type with a few “puzzles” that involve presenting evidence to contradict vitness statements.
Playing time’s around 5 hours.
It’s a free game, try it!
Thanks devs!

It’s criminal that this game is free. It’s basically an indie take on Phoenix Wright, done really well. It took me 5 hours to play (and I was streaming and reading the dialogue aloud, so a normal play would probably be shorter), but it was a memorable experience. Great writing, interesting characters, notable plot twists, and great animation and sound.
It’s clearly the setup for a full-length series, so I am eager to see that manifest. I’ll happily toss a few dollars to the devs via their optional cosmetic DLC too; they earned it with this.

PRIM
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1511380
Story
Strange things are happening in the Land of the Dead. Instead of reaping souls, Thanatos, the Angel of Death, has to deal with his teenage daughter Prim. Every night, Prim has the same dream: An oddly familiar human boy cries out for her help. Needless to say that our heroine tries to answer the call. There‘s just one tiny problem: The Grim Reaper has strictly forbidden her to enter the Realm of the Living – she‘s not ready for the immense power she‘d develop there, he claims.
Unfortunately, when Prim finds a way to trick her father and travel to Earth, it painfully turns out that Thanatos‘s presentiments have been right all along…
At its core, PRIM is a story of a father learning to let go and a girl finding out who she really is. But it’s also a thrilling adventure, full of magic and darkness. On her journey, Prim repeatedly has to switch between the Realm of the Dead and the Land of the Living, where she faces demons, real ones and ones within herself, while always being accompanied by her sidekick, an eye with spider legs.

Oracle Trials
Oracle Trials is a 2D platformer about a warrior in armor that reminds me of a kind of mario game.
Yes, the graphics here are pixelated, but the musical accompaniment and an interesting story make you not pay attention to it.
And as they say, we need to regain our strength by killing bad opponents.

If you love platformers as much as I do, then you should definitely play Oracle Trials. I won’t say that this is a revolution in the genre, but it is a very high-quality platformer with a bunch of different features and an interesting perspective. I didn’t expect anything from the game, but I got a lot of pleasure. The game has extremely nice graphics, great music and very responsive character controls.
7/10.

Creaks
I didn’t know what to expect from this game. While the developer always has outstanding graphics and audio, some of the reviewers were unkind as to the storyline/gameplay. I purchased it anyway as I have always liked Amanita games. I was not disappointed.
The game’s graphics, while dark and subdued, were beautifully rendered and lent the right tone to the story. The music was lovely and not overpowering and sound effects did not distract from gameplay. As to gameplay, I would describe it as Amanita version of the first “Rooms” game but with a better story, graphics, and gameplay. Yes, the basic play is to escape from chambers (rooms) as you move through this fantasy world. This type of gameplay has intermittent breaks when you get a periodically come across some artwork pieces that have their own puzzles to solve. As your character makes his way through this world, you gradually realize the plot and the nature of the characters you find. The puzzles are challenging and never boring. It’s not a violent game but gentle with a satisfactory ending. I’m very tired of games that leave me in limbo waiting for a subsequent games to purchase in order to determine the fate of my character only to find out my doom is my inevitable future with no chance of salvation. I’m sorry; I need a little hope right now. If developers have the power to create a world and story for others to enjoy, why not create one that inspires and doesn’t depress. Amanita games leave me inspired. I hope to see more from them. A sequel to this game would be welcome.

Beautiful game by the Amanita Team. I’ve been following their games for years and i’ve finally got to properly play one of them and it couldn’t be better!!!
This game features a very charming, very dark and very grotesque art style that it only gets better as you go along.
It has a sort of “Kafka” vibe to it: The story of the game starts with our main character staying on his room, looking bored with life, until one sudden unexpected movement makes a crack on the wall, leaving some strange marks, upon inspection we found the entrance to an subterranean passage which leads into the origin of these tremors…. and a whole cast of strange beings which live in the earth below…. passage upon passage upon passage, its laberintical, babilon like, almost. The journey starts very slow and even monotone much… but soon you will find your way through different places, sometimes rooms, sometimes a cave…. the atmosphere starts to change, the colors follow suite and there will be plenty of variety (graphically speaking).

Spooky Speakeasy
I just played this game once for my Twitch live stream (twitch.tv/draycosdragon) and I am honestly surprised at the wonderful work the game devs have done with this game. I even started to get kinda emotional at 1 part of the game near the end. But I won’t spoil it for those who might still be interested in trying the game for themselves. I do hope there will be a sequel to this game (maybe like a continuation or maybe another type of drink combos/items or maybe a new set of stories/storylines). Only thing I’d suggest if there’s another game like this is… maybe add a drink menu to help those who have a harder time remembering drink mix combos. As for the characters, I think you might need more creatures to use seeing as most of them are just slime cubes just of different colors. But all and all… WONDERFUL game. If there were a rating system on Steam, I’d totally give this game and the game devs a perfect 10/10

I enjoyed the game and I feel like if there were more character diversity and gameplay diversity it would be even better. Some features to include would be special effects, like a setting drinks on fire, pumpkin straws, or Yokai umbrellas these could be unmixable toppers. The gameplay needs more direction when allowing the character to make a drink. Maybe implement an alcohol book(witch spell book) that would serve as a guide the player should look through constantly and would fill it’s self out as the player progresses (like blank pages filling out). A notebook that the character keeps to the side would be helpful if the character would write down the ingredients already added so when mixing occurs, it would be easy to keep ahold of what’s been added. I’d say focus on the gameplay, most of all, due to it becoming repetitive really fast(good gameplay formula but needs for detail and things to do), and one way to make it a little more complex is to add specific measurements required for the drinks. Once the specifics were discovered, the spellbook should include itself, so the player doesn’t have to remember. For the colors used, I would like to see them more vibrant as possible along with making them even more appealing to look at(like maybe if you added eyes to a drink, you could see them floating throughout the drink after shaken). I also think a follow up game should include store customization. This customization should include chairs, tables, signs, door bells, jukebox that would rotate music, and many other things of the sort. I felt a little detached from the story which was okay for me because I found it more fun to just mix drinks. I liked the dialogs of hanging out with people after you close, but I felt it was a little pointless due to no rewards or interesting interactions coming of it. Also it didn’t make too much sense considering that it would be the first time I met someone and they were just fine with staying until close time just so I could talk with them. I feel that the conversations would work better as little conversations while you are making the drinks, after you served them the drink, or maybe quick time event interactions which would build up to staying till closing time. I would like to suggest a repeat customer progress bar that would fill up the more conversations you would have with a customer, and when filled to the max you could venture out of the shop to see more of the world you are living in. (cut scenes, or different locations for a dialog to be had) A cool detail if possible would be slightly changing the perspective in order to see our character actually reaching for the items we are using or at least adding animations for doing each action like hands and arms wrapping around reach object. After clicking an item it wouldn’t just be free moving but stay stationary while the cursor has a ghost version in it until clicked on pitcher(please add more interesting cups to the game).I feel the game could also use events that change up the gameplay like having to serve drinks during a storm, earthquake, flood, blackhole, raid, or anything to those extremes. Overall, this was a great game and I can see the potential.

Haunt the House: Terrortown is a charming side-scrolling game, in which you play as a mischievous little ghost. When the night falls, you float from your home in an old clocktower and start wandering around the town, scaring people to death. You can possess objects and interact with them, making townfolks running away terrified.
The game has colorful and cartoony graphics that really stand out. Each playable ghost has its own style and signature howling.
The soundtrack is fitting and catchy, I really love the North Pole theme.

To Be Headed Or Not To Be
Despite the glitchy moments, game was very enjoyable! Played it with my boyfriend first, and as he didn’t quite like the mechanic I asked my friend!
we didn’t get the appeal of beheaded characters until it’s being used in a puzzle, which is honestly briljant!
Some puzzle are VERY HARD. especially towards the end but enjoyable!
We played it in 3 nights, of approximately an hour each time. Sometimes our save would send us back quite a bit before we could resume. which was annoying but by then we did the puzzles before and could easily get through them to continue where we left of.

At first glance, I thought this was going to be another puzzle game, which I am all for puzzle games, BUT this is something MORE! I laughed, I wanted to cry, I wanted to jump up and down and cheer, I wanted to jump up and down and scream. I brought my friend along for the ride, she loves puzzle games as well, and OMG. This is more than co-op puzzle solving, this is a 1000% dependent on communication and dependence on your partner(s). I thought it would be easy and possibly a pain to have to communicate with someone else, but I laughed so hard! The puzzles are definitely challenging, there is the option to ask for hints and even solutions of hints, which is a comforting bonus. I started playing with a 3 hour window set in mind and almost 6 hours later had to stop to cook dinner.

9-nine-:Episode 4
Episode 4 is the first game I’ve played of the series.
The story is so good that I want to read all of the chapters. Except I don’t, because that would mean I wouldn’t see Noa and Kakeru together anymore.
The creators did a splendid job at helping you understand the plot without having to read the previous chapters. This was definitely one of my bigger concerns because nobody likes experiencing things where they’re left completely out of the loop.
I find the quality of this story to come close to some of my favorite novels: Chaos;Child, Steins;Gate and ISLAND. Many events in this novel seem to be centered around personalities and it shows you how much thought went in to every single character, but the main story revolves around the concept of time travel with their own fascinating twist added to it.

This is not a proper review AT ALL, I am just typing what I have in my mind.
9-nine series, definitely masterpiece-tier visual novel for me. Who would have thought a simple story about investigating the truth behind a crime would lead up to so many messed up things. Truth to be told, I thought 9-nine is just another visual novel that talks about daily life with the heroines, having dates, sharing first kiss, saving the heroines in dangerous situation and so on. Hell no, 9-nine brought me more than that, of course one thing that surprised me the most is the game breaking the fourth wall and involve you as much as possible into the story.
