I wish more indie games were as ambitious as this, especially indie action games. I want to make something that looks this gorgeous someday, and I mean that.

Action is pretty good, especially the 1v1 boss fights which made the whole game for me. Ran into some small tech issues but nothing the autosave couldn’t fix.

All-in-all, the sort of experience that comes from a team with a lot of heart, and it shows. Really excited to see whatever Phantom Island makes next!

Ben 10: Power Trip

I can’t believe someone thought it was a good decision to have coop only accessible by talking to your npc buddy ‘Kevin’, who’s not all that easy to find on the map. Even worse, if that player hits the wrong button they wind up ejected from the game and you must search for Kevin once again to enable coop mode—even if he’s on the other side of the map! Another terrible aspect is the combat. There is absolutely no weight to your attacks which makes the fight sequences deeply unsatisfying. It’s like swinging at bags of feathers. I just don’t get how the developers could nerf the fighting to the extent that it is simply not fun when it is such an integral part the game. It makes no sense whatsoever. The missions are very repetitive, fetch quests, chases, kill a certain number of enemies or solve an easy puzzle. That is the gameplay in a nutshell. Overall, the open world does provide some decent platforming moments and neat areas to explore but I’d probably hold off for a sale as there are better games out there.

The missions are repetitive and almost the same and the characters feels like bots and doesnt feel alive not to mention how dumb the quizzes are, the world is so dead and doesnt feel fun to go around and explore, also they picked one of the weakest villains in the entire show literally, It would have been better if the main villain was Vilgax or a punch of weak villains not one

ok that was the bad things the good things is the transformation system, you feel like the master of the omnitrix and u can do a mix of every alien attack by simply transforming into each one every 2 seconds to feel the nostalgia

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion

All the time I spent on this game was just hunting for achievements, side questing, exploring, and level grinding. But aside from that, the main story of this game is quite short, and it can be completed in about 2-3hrs. All in all, I think its a fun game and if not the first game that AT has with free roam and an open world setting. The turn-based battles are alright, with the game explaining how status debuffs work, elemental advantages, and buffs, it’s pretty easy to understand and master the game with just basic knowledge. You can pretty much destroy any boss you encounter by just playing against their weaknesses (every character has different elemental skills). But, the game’s pretty much over once you get BMO to join you, you’ll see what I mean when you play it. For the price it has right now, I think its worth it IMO, but better to wait for a sale to get it.

This is a casual turn based RPG based on the Adventure Time world including many of the shows famed voice actors. The game plays out like an extended episode or even movie with a pirates theme that gives off a WindWaker vibe with the boat you use to travel from the strange worlds.

The game is poorly optimised for PC with chopy frames and clunky feel and very poor menus, but it does all work and if you can get past the games annoyances your likely to enjoy this immersive world. Theres enough detail to make you feel like you really are in the Adventure Time world as oposed to a game developers intepretation of it.

Ayre

Ayre

Ayre is a nice chill “flying simulator” with relaxing dragon flight, exploration, lovely calm music. Collecting gems and armor and racing through rings drive the exploration. The exploration leads to finding shrines which reveal a decent background story which fills you in on what happened to this quiet, abandoned society.

The low poly terrain looks nice. The various game models aren’t spectacular but they adequately fulfill their purpose. For a game developed by a single person they do the job just fine. The dragon and the flight model are superb and clearly a lot of attention went into that. Soaring through the air and doing a last second turn with the wings outstretched before landing felt perfect. Very well done.

I got this game for my 7yr old daughter, and I have to say… I can’t stop playing it myself! Yes it looks clunky, and some of the animations are reminiscent of Virtua Fighter 1, and other 1st gen polygon games, but the gameplay is actually very refined.

The cool thing about this game is that the dragon’s flying controls can be simplified for a child to be able to play it and enjoy it… But at the same time, if you turn off the simplified controls, flying the dragon and getting through races is challenging and enjoyable for an adult as well! Very different experience with the “pro” controls for the dragon, you have much more freedom to bank, turn, and manoevre… Well done.

Brushlings Pale Moon

Brushlings Pale Moon

In this single player campaign you’ll play as a fairy named Gaia. It’s your job to use element based attacks to defeat enemies as they try to drain the world of its color. Your abilities aren’t only used for defeating enemies, you can also use them to solve puzzles and help you restore the color back in the world. You must seek out the mushrooms of life and restore their color thus restoring the color to that area. Can you locate all of the mushrooms and save the world from becoming colorless?

WHAT’S THE BACKGROUND?

Gaia, the soul of the world, rises from below the ground. Throughout time she has always taken on vastly different forms, sometimes it was a destructive hurricane or beautiful rainbow after a gentle rainstorm. However, Gaia’s world is in danger and almost devoid of color. So she decided to take on the form of a brushling, which is a powerful fairy. As she lies there after rising up from the ground she sees a single clumping of flowers starting to lose color and reaches for them to bring them back to life. The ground itself seems to remain unchanged for now, but the life from it has become colorless, despite the moon being changed to an eerie blue color.

As the once grey and beautiful moon moves over the landscape the evil Mageling uses it as a conduit to take the color out of the plants and objects. With Gaias uncanny ability to color the world around her, time is of the essence and the plants must be restored back to their original color before the moon does one full rotation. By restoring the color the real reason for the lack of color is revealed; The Shapelings are taking over, fueled by the Magelings colorless curse. Shapelings take on any form in their environment; they can hide in plain sight and are fierce, strong enemies, Gaia must traverse the landscape finding ways to change the colorless plants and objects back to their original color and defeat the Mageling and his minions before the moon’s final rotation.

CONTROL THE ELEMENTS

As you restore color to the world throughout your journey you’ll unlock abilities that coordinate with the terrain you’re in. You’ll be able to control water, fire, lava, wind, ice, and more! These abilities will be used to help solve puzzles within the game and defeat enemies.

A UNIQUE OPEN WORLD EXPERIENCE

The world you’ll play in is designed to be split up into sections separated by their elements. You’ll travel through fire, water, ice, wind elements, and more! Explore this uniquely designed world and restore the beauty of it’s color back to life.

Car drive

WE RECOMMEND THE PLAYERS TO DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM THE EVENTS AND TAKE THEM WITH TONGUE IN CHEEK.

gameplay:

Tank up your ride, take a dog, abduct a girl, shoot or befriend something. Focus on the missions or wreak havoc – the most important thing is to have some bucks in your pocket.

My Mad Road is a completely new game where the main rule is powerful fun. You play as a controversial character who prefers to get around by car, but often needs to get out of it to take care of some business. Time passes in the game, so it’s divided into days, during which you carry out selected missions. The world’s full of life, so the missions are just a side goal, while the rest lives at its own pace. Unleash your imagination and join the events unfolding in the world of My Mad Road.

many Paths and Solutions

In every situation, you can act in multiple ways. We keep striving to make the gameplay unlimited by anything.

Some actions in the game are only available upon approaching an object or a person. The character keeps growing, so they aren’t able to do everything at the first stages of the game.

The greater the risk, the greater the reward

Remember not to make too many enemies, as they can break or kill even the biggest badass.

the Game’s Atmosphere

The game is teeming with life (animals, people) you can interact with. The game is dominated by desert and farmland views, but there’s also a good deal of fantasy and modern views.

Disneyland Adventures

Disneyland Adventures

A very entertaining game for Disneyland fans. I saw this in the Steam store and showed my wife, as she is a HUGE Disney fan. She told me to get it immediately because Disney. I didn’t mind because Frontier has done great park games in the past. (RCT3 and Planet Coaster)

This game doesn’t fail to deliver on it’s promise. You can explore all the main parts of Disneyland, and they are recreated fairly accurately. The graphics and art style is good, albeit slightly cartoon-y. It’s a nice blend of feeling like you are there, but still being a cartoon representation. The rides which are included have been turned into multi-staged mini-games, which is an interesting and fun twist. Exploring everything is held together with questing and finding hidden items. The whole game plays like an open RPG; Think Skyrim for a 7 year old.

Real player with 90.5 hrs in game

The game has a LOT of mini-games in it. It will definitely keep you busy. Some of the games might give eye sensitive players a slight case of vertigo (down the rabbit hole, for one).

Game storyline: You play a mute kid (prove me wrong) [your choice of boy or girl] who is asked by the Disney characters to help them collect items. You level up by performing these tasks and discovering hidden treasures with the help of magical items provided by particular characters. With each Disney character, you are able to high five them, dance with them, ask them for an autograph, or get a hug (note: not all characters will be okay with hugging). In order to get autographs, you need to buy the autograph books from the stores. Also, you will need to buy photo albums to be able to take pictures and selfies of certain areas (watch for the bouncing photo signs). I would advise having the camera in your possession while wandering around the park. This is because there are large blue circles that appear on the ground when you have your camera in your hand to take a photo of a popular area. The goal is basically to 1) get all of the quests done, 2) find all of the hidden treasures, 3) photograph all of the hidden Mickeys, 4) complete your photo albums, pin albums, and autograph books.
