A Gummy’s Life
If the only thing they did was a carbon-copy remake of Gang Beasts with just a ‘splatter’ like they have for the punches, it would have been worth at least a dollar. There was that, and so much more, and my kids (7 & 10) absolutely loved it!
I find it way less boring than gang beasts with all the bot options and the much, much more interactive environments. Matches rarely last more than 1 1/2 minutes. A+.
Some comments from the children –- “I like that there’s more ways to die.”
Some comments from Dad — “I like that there’s bots out the wazoo, and that way I don’t have to pick one of the two children to go after and end up falling off the edge holding them.”

This is a very entertaining game, from the ragdoll physics to beating up your friends. However, it isn’t for everyone, and has major problems.
While I would still recommend the game, the game is not without flaws, which I think many wouldn’t be able to overlook. Most notably would be the large amount of bugs and glitches. Many maps have areas the players can climb out of, instantly killing them. Others have environmental backdrops the players can clip through. There are also many physics-based problems that could potentially throw someone off the map and ruin their experience. However, many of these glitches are funny enough to not cause any frustration.

Changed the review from negative to positive, since the developer fixed
the broken hitboxes & achievements with latest update. Thanks for that !
This indie-for-honor-budget-version plays wonderfully now.
Decent roster with easy & straightforward inputs , 2 unique skills (per character) that are great for mixups & nice stamina management.
I enjoyed playing even vs AI ,worth mentioning it supports online as well as remote play.
Latest update also added a new character and map alongside bug fixes so that was a nice surprise, i ll be coming back to this from time to time !

OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes
After playing through the game in its entirety, here are my thoughts.
PROS:
-
Appealing, charming art direction
-
Writing on par with the show, feels like one giant episode
-
Battle controls feel good and combos are satisfying to pull off.
CONS:
-
Battle system, while fluent and functional, gets old really fast, despite attempts at keeping it fresh. This is mainly due to the narrow enemy variety and small boss battle pool.
-
Side characters don’t have much unique dialogue outside of quests.
-
Soundtrack is ok, but is generic and samey. Gets old kinda fast as well.

PROS:
-Art Style
-Game Feel (took some getting used to, however. hitboxes are a little wonky at times.)
-Writing is spot on. Really loved the characters.
-~15 hour campaign. longer than the usual beat em up.
CONS:
-Almost no reason to do random battles once you’re max level. Max level shouldnt exist.
-No reason to buy burritos since you’re cash-poor 95% of the game and should be buying packs instead. (and whats the rush to get to max level when that ruins the drive to do random battles?)
-No endgame. I dont know about you, but plaza patrol is the least interesting task in the whole game, but thats the only quest you will ever get once completing the story.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Portal Power
Controls:
i’m gonna say this straight off the bat, this game’s controls should be reconfigured after you complete the tutorial. other than that, the tutorial phase works fine. i recommend re-binding controls for dash, grouping, turtle power, and special moves only, since dashing provides invincibility after a while.
Bugs:
skater gear has an annoying bug where if you use their specials then dash with all of them grouped up, your character bugs out and moves on its own.
Music:
not only is the game’s music terribly repetitive, but it also has this horribly annoying sound effect that plays whenever you start a level.

on mobile this may not be a bad game but it’s boring on pc. this would be good for a kid or if you want something easy but overall its not that great.
-
the outfits are nice and change how you play your turtle
-
it’s nice to be able to swap to any of the 4 turtles at any time though having all 4 in combat is more a curse then a blessing
- the game is easy even on nightmare. they just add hp and attack speed on nightmare that i should add is the only other difficulty.
- watch as 3 of your turtles look on as an enemy does a special and hits all 3 of them as you leap away to safty only to die anyway cause you took 3x the damage or 4x if you didn’t dodge.

ABRACA - Imagic Games
Underneath the cutesy graphics lies a game that actually takes skill to play.
Abraca really is the perfect party game. Think of it as a little bit of a mix between Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party. Then, be a little forgiving, as the creators neither had the budget of those two AAA games, nor the price tag.
Each player controls both a prince, and a princess, but not at the same time. Each princess is placed in a giant box, and each prince races for the key to open the box and free his princess. You progress through a series of challenges as far as you can on your turn, with the other three players taking control of the defenders in the level. As the prince, your goal is to pass as many stages as possible, as the defenders your goal is to send the prince to the start of the stage as many times as possible, and as a princess your goal is generally to smash the other princesses so you can blow kisses to your prince through the lock-hole of the chest.

Since i see no really usefull reviewers, I decided to give you guys one.
This is actually a really good party game, but ONLY a party game! This game is probably one of the best Local games out there. I don’t know how the heck the others managed to rate this game after playing for like 20 minutes, but think i tried it enough to give it a rating.
There are three modes: Race, Arena and Challenge mode.
The race mode is 2-4 player. This the mode that makes the game shine. You have to get through 9 stages before the others, and in every round, the chosen one has to go as far as possible within 60 seconds. While the chosen ones struggles to get through the stage, he have to escape from monsters which is controlled by 1-3 local opponents. (NO BOTS. ONLY THE OTHER LOCAL PLAYERS) On their way to comleting each stage, he/she have to escape the opponents either by avoiding them or beating them to move on. Every character gets a chance every round to be the chosen one, who has to go through the stages. If you are lucky and good then you might go through 3 stages within 60 seconds. And if you are unlucky then you might stay in the same stage until the next round. After every round the first chosen one is being chosen by a battle between friends (works like smash bros). The one who is finishing and beating the stage 9 boss the first will win the game.

Ben 10
I have been a fan of the Ben 10 franchise ever since the first episode came out. I have also watched every single Ben 10 episode from the classic to Omniverse, and played almost half of the games released for the franchise. Despite being a fanatic of the Ben 10 franchise, however, I wouldn’t recommend buying this game for the current price ($30).
If you are expecting to relive your childhood for a good 10-20 hours (even if you despise the Reboot but just want the latest Ben 10 game) and have the $30 to spare, sure go buy it now! If you’re not a big fan and just want to play the game for what it is, just wait for a sale.

I don’t like reboot that much. I watched the original Ben 10 when I was a kid and loved it. Still watching it from time to time but reboot… there’s something off about it which I cannot describe. I’ve decided to buy this game just to play as Diamondhead but ended up playing as Heatblast most of the time. He annihilates everything once maxed out and makes other aliens look like a joke. You have 10 aliens to choose, you’re familiar with most of them if you’ve watched the original cartoon so it won’t feel like a different one. Game itself is not good, though. Here’s why…

Also Expect to mash like never before since going for the same button as your opponent will force you both to mash fest punch button, with the fastest thump being the winner! KAKATE KOI

Battletoads
TLDR: Divisive visuals but solid gameplay. Different doesn’t mean bad. No online play option.
Battletoads. A popular TMNT clone with a series of games in the 90’s by Rare. Primarily a beat ‘em up with platforming, it did mixup the gameplay throughout the various stages with different genres. An iconic drumbeat would play when the game was paused. It was famously difficult and is still considered one of the hardest games of all time.
After a few cameos in recent years (KI and Shovel Knight cameos are both great) the Battletoads finally get their own game again. The end result is a good game but not without issues.

“If you try and take a cat apart to see how it works, the first thing you have on your hands is a non-working cat.”
~Douglas Adams
What the f*ck did I just… * sigh * OK, I’m not an angry fanboy. An old geezer? Yes. But not an angry fanboy. Actually, the thing is – I was never a big fan of Battletoads. Even though I did grow up with those games and ended up playing and finishing them all eventually (yes, even that less-known Master System version of Battlemaniacs that was only released in Brazil), the only game I really loved was the original NES version of Battletoads / Double Dragon. Now that was the toads at their best! The rest of the stuff… I can see why people loved those games, but personally, I never cared enough. And yet, when Microsoft announced that there’ll be a new Battletoads game? With RARE involved? I was really excited. I mean, the old arcade from 1994, while being pretty short and limited, showed a lot of promise and recent Killer Instinct game that came with Rash’s cameo, proved that they still got it with both the design and the original spirit. Just think about it – a longer version of 1994 arcade (which was the only game in the series that used to include blood, by the way) with juicy design and modern technology behind it. That’s what we’ve been waiting for all these years, right? Right?

Fisti-Fluffs
I saw the trailer for this game about a year ago and waited patiently as the release date passed, worried that it had been canceled. Imagine my surprise when out of nowhere the game officially released on my birthday. As a cat lover I knew this was fate that I had to buy it, lol.
Fistifluffs is a fun, casual, family-friendly brawler that’s something of a cross between Gang Beasts and Smash Bros. You take control of one of a number of cats, which you can customize with various outfits, items, colors and more, and take on three other cats in a few different battle modes to determine who is “best cat”. The game is meant to be fun, cute and wacky as cats go sailing thirty feet across the room with every jump and flop around “tussling” with combinations of scratches and headbutts. The graphics are perfect for a game of this nature, setting the cartoonish tone, and the music is great (and can be selected between “cute” and “metal” depending on what kind of feel you want for your battles). Audio in general is great as there are lots of fun cat noises, hisses, growls, and the occasional purr or nomnom as your kitty chomps down a scrumptious snack of fish to regain some energy.
