Although this title does not support English, its playable to an extent thanks to its general city building concepts. Has promise, looking forward to if the dev adds support for English.

3 Oct 2021:

Strategical gameplay to max out the profit and effects HAHAH

Recommended to buy if this game is:

1. On sales (IMO I just buy game during sales mostly)

2. If you like to play games with minimal guidelines

As this is early access game, I wouldn’t say it’s too bad to play the game

It mentioned that they will skip the tutorial part (so you will read the text-based guidelines)

If you read it clear, the more you experiment, the easier you will get high score with

Had some fun playing this!

I absolutely love Tycoon games. Given that, and the fact that I have never seen a Tycoon games that focus on Ads, I had to try this one.

It’s an Early Access game, so we gotta take that into consideration too, so yes, it has some bugs, it can use some improvements and maybe new mechanics, but with that said, it’s not a bad game at all.

Firstly, the art style is great! It really does give an oldschool vibe, which was the proposal. Great!

Also, as I mentioned before, I’ve never seen an Ad Tycoon, so this is another step on the right direction, innovative.

Let me start this off by saying I love this game and I will continue to monitor the progress, and I will change my review along the way. I am a long fan of MGT series and I decided to support the developer by buying EA game which I usually NEVER do.

However… There are really really BIG issues for me. Before I do get into it I have to say one more thing, english isn’t my native language and I apologize in advance because I will have to write longer to make a point that I could have probably made in one sentence.

TLDR

Pros: Good flow / pacing - Very minimal game breaking bugs - Nice relaxing game

Oks: Some amazing core concepts, but could be taken further - Art / Assets work well, but could use further refining - Each room has it’s own purpose, but some less ‘needed’ than others - Actual construction is well thought out, but the grid can feel too large in places and no ‘clone room’ feature - Random events happen, some of which are utterly pointless depending on the year / progress of the studio

Shop Tycoon: Prepare your wallet

Shop Tycoon: Prepare your wallet

This is a perfect game to play in short sessions or while you are listening to music/working as it has a progresion curve perfectly balanced on every gameplay mechanic that it has implemented which leaves you with different options when it comes to decide how you want to play the game.

You can play for 20 minutes and start some automatization so you can just play relaxed with a slower progresion, you can play being 100% into the game for a faster grow of your bussines, you can focus for some minutes and get a lot of the game elements automatizated and just watch and click sometimes if you want.

I didn’t realize I was playing the game for as long as I did which is a plus however I’m still confused on how much money I have while playing. I feel like what it says I have isn’t what I really have cause buying things is impossible. Enjoying the game though.

“Medieval Real Estate”

“Medieval Real Estate”

A simple casual game, in which you have to buy estates, observe their equity and sell them at the right time to increase your wealth. You also have to pay for food and potions and their costs are increasing over time.

Pros:

  • simple, but flawless working gameplay

  • music is okay

  • developer is still updating it

Cons:

  • due to lack of variations (scenery, gameplay,. music) low replay value

I’d recommend if you’re looking for something as a small pastime, but I wouldn’t pay the full price for it.

A pretty neat game. For the price I think it was good. You buy homes and sell them for a higher price. The music is nice. The are is decent. It’s a great game for killing some time.

Drill Deal: Borehole (Alpha)

Drill Deal: Borehole (Alpha)

Alpha seems pretty solid. At about 4.8 hours, the pathing for the workers when crazy. Poor guys standing right next to a canteen couldn’t find the entrance and got mad at me, some tried to walk off the edge of the platform, a few couldn’t find a resting place, despite numerous housing buildings available.

[edit] 12 hours: The game still is running well. I had one crash where some buttons could not be pushed, but it went away with continued play. Employees still get trapped periodically. I’ve tried different ways to free them up (destroying the building, changing jobs, etc), but firing seems to be the only effective solution (why is it always a level 4 driller? ~sad face~). Bridges can’t be deleted, which is an inconvenience. I find the game relaxing. It isn’t very challenging yet, but in time I can see different maps getting more and more difficult as they are added. Prices for new contracts seems a bit low. A player might pay 1600 to unlock it, but will earn back an infinite amount. Perhaps contracts should be renegotiated after X number of sales.

This will most likely be a pleasant management game to play.

During the alpha I found two things that was quite annoying.

First was that there seems to be no way to demolish platforms.

Second was that the workshop didn’t cover new platforms so on the 2x7 platform you’d have to sacrifice 4x4 space for a workshop.

And very “alpha” specific I found that the canteen upgrade was isled among alpha-locked upgrades in the tech tree. Rendering it unreachable but implemented.

This is the type of game I wouldn’t pay more than 9-12€ for,

The Stonks Market

The Stonks Market

A charming meme game that manages to capture my experience in the stock market frighteningly well. The writing from Vagabond Dog is what you expect, funny and well paced. It’s a relatively short playthrough, but it’s worth to go through a second time if you lost it all when you yolo’d in $JANC the first time. 10/10 would hold again.

Real player with 5.1 hrs in game

A short, but comical story about a clueless man flirting with the stock market for the first time.

The trading platform sections are enjoyable and are critical to directing the narrative one way or the other. Are you going to lose more than just your money, or will you triumph and end on a high? The story being tied to my trading performance made me care about doing well to potentially get a good conclusion.

I’m about to go through it again and see how my story differs if I YOLO it all!

Kebab House

Kebab House

I’ll update this review if necessary (I haven’t beaten the game yet, but as it is now, I absolutely cannot recommend this game).

Where to start? Bugs. There are a TON of bugs. Here’s a few that I found that are absolutely annoying (there’s more, but I’ll only list a few):

items that slow down the day stop working if you close and reopen the game

had a customer ask for chicken donner on pita bread but was disappointed (so some meal issues), read that she paid me $7 instead of $6, so she apparently wanted a chicken donner wrap instead.
