Joy the Pug
A pug-tastic game. It’s a sweet and short adventure of Joy the Pug trying to save the world from Space Kittens. There are 20 levels in which you need to jump over obstacles and try not to die. I admit, some levels were frustrating as hell (that’s the idea, right?) and I almost gave up, but kept on going because I was having a laugh at the same time. The puns were cute, Joy was cute, and the music is addictive.
The game probably needs polish here and there but, knowing that the budget was limited and it was done by a very small team, I am pleased with what they created. I hope we’ll get to see more games from them in the near future!

Cyber Utopia
While I appreciate the effort of bringing back the old school FPS vibe à la Wolfenstein 3D and Blake Stone, I simply cannot recommend Cyber Utopia due to some technical issues and design flaws.
POSITIVES
1. Original spriteworks
2. Cartoony and cyberpunk vibe
3. Low price
NEGATIVES
1. No fullscreen option
2. 512x384 window
3. Stiff movement mechanics
4. Confusing level design
5. Unbalanced difficulty
Overall, Cyber Utopia adds up to the long list of disappointing sprite based FPS that have been released on Steam in the last 6 months, including Merger 3D, Castle Werewolf 3D, Western FPS and Nano Project.

After dealing with the shitty controls i managed to get to state 4 or 5, just to realize that the remaining part of the game were just tunnels with random monsters to kill no labrint or anything at all.
Just 5 more stages that were just staright line walking killing random shit
Once completing this i get what appears to be a strating “cutscene” wich is basically a chat between 2 people, only 2 messages tho. It says things that makes no sense unless i guess they want us to read a comic or ask wtf is going in in the forum. Whatever it is it feels like the game was just starting because they said something about someone is looking for someone else. But nope, press any key and you go back to main menu, end of the “shareware” i guess?

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Team Reptile brings you Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, 1 second per second of highly advanced funkstyle. In a world from the mind of Dion Koster, where self-styled crews are equipped with personal boostpacks, new heights of graffiti are reached. Start your own cypher and dance, paint, trick, face off with the cops and stake your claim to the extrusions and cavities of a sprawling metropolis in an alternate future set to the musical brainwaves of Hideki Naganuma.
Facts:
-
In the game you can choose a character from your crew and explore the three-dimensional streets freely.
-
The goal is to bomb and get your name up. Every neighbourhood has many spots to find where you can paint graffiti. Once you get enough REP you can challenge the local crew for the territory.
-
Features a unique trick system with grinding, sliding, wallrunning and tricking in the air as well as on the ground.
-
You will encounter a lot of weirdos.
About the Graffiti
Your boostpack allows you to hit even the most insane spots with ease. Once you are near a graffiti spot you can activate graffiti mode and be suspended in mid-air. Hit all the targets and the sequence you make will determine the piece that shows up! Bigger size spots mean more targets to hit before the timer runs out.
About the Tricks
You can string your tricks and graffiti into combos to increase your score. Land a combo and your score will be transformed to boost power. The more stylish you are, the more you can use this boost power to zoom through the city at top speed. Do a crazy enough combo and you’ll go into Bomb Rush Mode, gaining infinite boost power.

- Floating Combo
This game uses a strict floating combo system, which is no longer a fake or unrestricted floating combo.
Floating combo: refers to the ability to continue to attack the enemy after knocking the enemy into the air, in order to cause more combo num and damage.
Floating combo Limit: Observe the “four actions and two no-repeat” rule, that is, after the enemy is floated, a maximum of four actions are added, and the same action can be used up to two times. After this limit is exceeded, the floating combo will be forcibly terminated (normal attack and Jump attack is not subject to this restriction).
- Block System
This game uses a strict blocking system, which extremely tests the player’s hand speed. After a successful block, you will get a short invincibility time. The invincibility time will increase as your character level up.
In Crazy Mode, it is recommended that players use more blocks and use the invincible time after the block is successful to move. In addition, there is a short invincibility time after the blood kill, please use it with caution.
- Level Up System
In order to increase growth, this game adds an level up system. Characters gain points by hitting or props. After the points reach a certain value, they will be level up. When the character reaches level 10 and 20, certain actions will be strengthened and changed.
As the level increases, the character’s attack power and blood volume will increase accordingly. The level can be increased infinitely, and the attack power and maximum blood volume are limited.
- Weapon System
In order to increase the fun of the game, this game uses a storable weapon system. Players can collect various weapons such as AK, rifles, bazookas, etc., use them as much as they want, and put them back in their backpacks when they are not needed.
- Crazy Mode
In addition to the traditional pass mode, the game has a new ultra-high difficulty Crazy Mode. In the Crazy mode, there are a large number of soldiers and bosses, and the enemy’s attack, blood volume, and AI are greatly improved. It requires extremely skilled operations to pass the level.
- BOSS Rush
BOSS Rush mode is a mode to directly challenge the BOSS. In this mode, there is no interference from soldiers, and players can enjoy various floating combo.
This mode lasts for 12 levels, and there are even 2BOSS and 3BOSS levels behind it, which is an excellent place to level up and show operations.
About development
This game was made by a person who spent a whole year and carefully polished it. The full-time development process is very difficult and it is not easy to finish it.The original intention of making this game was to miss the arcade games that were often played as a child. Are those games that were once all the rage really going to be forgotten by history?
If you like arcade games, please support this game. If the sales volume is good, there will be a sequel version later.
Before the battery´s over

Each theme will have 4 different maps with increasing hard levels.
There are also two extra mini-games.
Welcome to the Polyverse
Great game, enjoying it thoroughly (still getting used to some of the mechanics). I can see the dev is really trying something different here. The low-poly aesthetic that is increasing in popularity actually makes sense if the player is in a simulation as this game suggests. Well done and I hope to see much more as I explore.

URO2
Having debuted at this year’s Comiket96, URO2 is the latest beatmania style game from Japanese indie developer AECRNIA. Stuffed with a hefty 100+ electronic, dance, and house tracks to play, audiophiles will get their money’s worth, if you can look past its confusing English translation.

Punch Planet - Early Access
(Updated review 12/22/2020)
Where do I start……. THIS GAME IS AWESOME! I hardly have anything negative to say about this game. If you enjoy 2D style fighting games, with tons of defensive mechanics and solid gameplay, you WILL enjoy Punch Planet!
Gameplay: 10/10 This game has super responsive controls, unlike fighting games ive played recently. There is no input delay, it just feels really good to play. The gameplay is very deep and intuitive, giving each player an array of customization in they’re fighting style with each character. I’ve played this game for 792 hours and have yet to run into two people who play a character the same way.

I did a good amount of research on this game before I decided to buy it and from what I was extensive combos that require accurate input but not impossible to do, well what I got was completely different. I haven’t seen anything on the recent patch so I fear the game may have died.
In the YT videos I saw combo strings were incredibly fluid and very areil nd juggle based. Upon gameplay, well, the gravity is much higher and only Heavy hits and certain specials actually stun long enough for you to complete a ground to air combo or an air to ground combo. I’ve only been playing for about an hour or so, but I hope this game hasnt died. The online lobbies are entirely empty and its just odd to see that this game would be passed over because it does have a very high amount of potentil to rock with the big wig games.
