Avoidon
In this video I take a look at Avoidon, a simple side scrolling plane game.
I was impressed with the quality, I was expecting something really drabby but it has tight sound, art, and collision. It is a very simple game, you hit the mouse button and the plane will either start flying down or up depending how it was flying. Using these controls you need to dodge the obstacles. It has different layouts for the obstacles that can be chosen from the menu and when you fly far enough you unlock a new course. Tokens can be collected as you fly to buy new planes.

I desperately want to love this game, and I do– but it’s a messy, complicated love.
Overall, I think everyone should check this game out if it interests them. The charm factor is off the hook, and I love this game for that alone. But this game isn’t perfect, there’s some definite flaws; ones that have given me frustration and rage throughout my playthrough. I’ll provide my pros and cons, starting with the cons. I’ll stick with 2 for each to keep things simple, but I still implore you to check the game out for yourself and develop your own opinion. I can tell this game has a lot of love put into it, so I don’t want this review to act as a definite summarization– this game is beautiful and deserving of your time.

Infernal Radiation
This game is really something else.The gameplay is conceptually different from anything i’ve ever seen,it is a form of rhytmic bullet hell where you get to attack and defend and must choose wisely everytime before you make a move.The enemy variety is pretty wide and the game also benefits from an intriguing story that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The current length of the game is somewhere between 3-4 hours and it has a lot of replayability value.I enjoyed it greatly and the price is fairly cheap.

At the time of review I have 5.7 hours on record. This is a difficult rhythm game with RPG elements, where the character progresses between demon encounters and, in order to defeat each demon, has to learn the rhythm of the attacks.
There are NPCs which offer opportunities to level up and purchase items to improve the character’s attributes. Items involving slowing the demon’s attacks are quite useful!
The graphics are effective in reflecting the demon-infested island and the darkness wrought upon it. I particularly like the comic-style text boxes which impart much of the story. The NPC and demon encounters are well-scripted and humorous.

loved the original, this one is so much worse :( i am genuinely crying, but i need a third game in this series, without it i cannot sleep at night the original was a masterpiece of such profoundly innovative game design combined with its beautiful latest graphics that still rival cyberpunk imo and its class leading story telling along with its charm, all these things made it great, and without it i am lost.
