Initially I loved this game but lately I have stalled out big time. I cant progress to a new fight until I have 3 blue belts. I cant get my blue belts because apparently I cant click my mouse fast enough, or make it through training dealing 15 damage with the limited combo cards I am given, or make it through sparring taking 5 damage or less, or drag the correct symbols to the center of the circle fast enough with my laptop mouse in an exercise better suited for a touch screen. What is the point of all this? Why lock fights/belts at all? The training has nothing to do with the fighting outside of sparring which is kinda useful in teaching how to implement some different strategies. The incentive should be to unlock new moves and stay competitive while progressing through the game. Instead I appear to have been pigeon holed into trying to get good at tedious activities that do nothing to improve how good I actually am at this game. I just reached level 20. I think it will be a long time before I get to level 21. I will say that the actual fighting in the game is quite entertaining and I have enjoyed the matches. If PVP were added that would definitely be exciting. This game is inexpensive and maybe worth a look on sale but I can not recommend it after having stalled out halfway through the game.

I’m really on the verge and really don’t know if I can recommend it or not.
TL;DR It’s a free to play, multiplayer game without free to play elements or multiplayer. Some of the design decisions feels pointless, but at the end of the day, I enjoy playing it.
Don’t get me wrong. I really don’t like multiplayer for this type of games, and I don’t usually like free to play games. So this game being single player and pay once to get all content is a huge advantage for me.
I bet that this game has been developed with multiplayer in mind until the very last minute, so many gameplay decisions that are taken are with multiplayer in mind. One example of this is 15 sek turn limit. There is no reason whatsoever why you would want turn limits in a singleplayer game. Turn limits are necessary evil so players won’t leave in the middle of the match leaving the opponent. The whole idea behind turns is to let people think about their choices. Disadvantage to that is that the game feels slow. Turn limits does not remove the slowness-feeling of the game while removing the advantage of being able to thing for as long as you want.

Governor of Poker 3
As a poker game goes it has it all. + Some blackjack. Collecting hats ,badges ( i don’t need no stinking Badges) Coins etc all adds to it. Wasted many hours. My only down side is The amount of people who just throw in all the chips every hand.
but once you weed them out the game you find some damn good Players who just want to have fun.
If you like poker but dont want to use real cash This is as close as it gets. and if you do run out of Free chips . you can allways buy a few more. or wait for a free roll to come around every 4 hours.

GOP3 is a multiplayer poker game. They have a nice BlackJack table and a Slotmachime just to make you spend your chips. Another pay to win game. But its not bad, you can spend $10 on a HAT! there are hundreds of them. Like Im gonna wake up on a sunday morning and think…. I should spend $100 on HATS to play a poker game. YAY….awful. despicable.

Super Blackjack Battle 2 Turbo Edition - The Card Warriors
This is basically blackjack with some Street Fighter vibes; there is nothing special about it. This alone would not merit a review or even a thumbs down, however I just feel like this game could have been so much more. What about each character being able to manipulate the deck or their bet? Lifetime/Profile upgrades to the table to help you see the next few cards; etc etc. The point being is that if you were expecting this game to be a little more than just blackjack, then you will be disappointed. If you just want a blackjack game….why pay for this? There are other games to play, with less bugs.

I must admit that this game caught my attention the first time I stumbled upon it. The combination of Street Fighter 2 and Blackjack is rare enough and promising.
The artstyle is on point, the different nods and references are well done and detailed and anyone who played Street Fighter back in the days will get that fuzzy feeling of nostalgia in their tummies just a couple of seconds into the game. The characters, the cutscenes, the cheesy dialogues…everything’s there.
At heart, it is a Blackjack card game, each round you bet money and try to get a combinated card value of 21 (or near). But here comes the twist: Not only do you play against the house in classic Blackjack tradition but also against an opponent from some corner of the world. You win by either your opponent going bankrupt or you having more money than him by the end of round 10. Here, some strategy is thrown into the mix: Betting high right from the beginning so you win big and your opponent won’t the able to catch up? Playing safely by only betting as much as your opponent or hoping he gets unlucky? Many ways to play. Of course the game shines the brightes in online multiplayer as human opponents are way more interesting to play against. I think more and more players will show up over time and I was also being able to play a couple of rounds against others with a little patience.

Gridiron Solitaire
Fun game that nails the feeling of football while being very simple. You may just be clicking cards, but you’ll quickly find yourself on the edge of your seat trying to convert on 3rd and long or trying to stop your opponent on 3rd and short. You’ll leap for joy when you run back a kickoff for a touchdown or when your defense gets an instant sack. You’ll find yourself managing the clock, trying to run down the game when you have a comfortable lead, or sprinting across the field with a pass heavy attack when you’re down by two scores with the 4th quarter winding down.

I thought I’d share a summary of my full review here.
I didn’t really have any expectations going into Gridiron Solitaire. I knew a little about it, but none of the details. For such an abstract representation of football, it does a great job at capturing the flavor. This is one of the more enjoyable games I’ve played for a game with such simple mechanics. While I thought the matching mechanics were too simplistic, managing the Big Plays was great fun. I was getting excited both when things did and didn’t work out for me. Bill Harris included so many little touches that just tickled my shoulder pads - not the hideous 1980s women’s shoulder pads, but the cool football ones.

Poker Club
So, I’ve seen bad reviews for this game. For a poker game, it’s not bad. The animations, I thought, were a little slow. As it turns out, though, it’s just a part of poker. It ’s a grind and decisions take time. As far as the career aspect you start out where you should, with 50k playing in low level tourneys. That 50k can be lost! Be careful. A lot of people have complained about having to play against bots. These bots are not easy targets. You will not always beat them. I prefer playing against bots as opposed to waiting 15-30 mins. for a table to fill. I want to play not stare at my computer screen. They are a good training tool in my opinion. The 11 hours I’ve put in netted 20k profit. Yes, this game is a grind. Only buy it if you’re competitive and like poker. I joined a low level knockout tourney and it took me just over an hour to win. I had to play four times. The AI is AGGRESSIVE. They, at times, make dumb bets based solely on their pocket cards. For example, AI player has a King, Jack. It will bet and continue to bet even if they don’t hit anything on the flop. They will also make HIGH bets which you will have to judge for yourself if they’re bluffing. Nothing cranks me up like getting bluffed by a 3-2 off-suit, lol. However, if you don’t play smart and aggressive yourself the AI players will push you right off the table. Play smart or throw your money away. The dev is very up to speed on how to properly play poker and there are advanced theories in the game explaining a few of them. For example, how seat placement at the table affects how you should bet. Good game in my opinion. It needs some polishing. Better AI tactics I’d say. If you like or are interested in poker this game is for you. Beware. This is not a sit and win your way to the top of the food chain in a week or two game. It’s about the most serious investment of time I’ve ever seen in a poker game. So, come prepared or go home…broke!

I waited long for a game that isn’t like from the 90s: Only some cards on a table with top view. It’s 2020 and I want an immersive game not a bad looking mobile/facebook game. And it’s what I wanted:
-
immersive gameplay with nice graphics and animations (hence ofc its slower)
-
customizing your character/table with a lot of stuff to finally use your chips
-
a lot of game modes
-
nice tricks, emotes and different locations
-
and statistics, a lot of them: general, after cash game or tournaments. Love it here and always missed it in other games.. :)

Classic Card Game Euchre
Work’s so thumbs up but be nice if you could change the resolution, sides of the game are clipped off.
– Real player with 14.7 hrs in game
It’s fun and doesn’t seem one sided which is good. However I think having a dealer indicator rather than just the text at bottom of screen would be better because sometimes I miss it and don’t know who the dealer is. Also having a few rules settings such as stick the dealer, and ten point twenty four card euchre would be very nice.

The game itself functions, but there are no settings to change other than volume. its stuck on a certain resolution, does not have windowed mode, and perhaps worst of all, you can’t set the point limit before the whole thing is over. It just needs more work.
