  • Great Game -

… if you are one of the lucky persons, who own a malkyrs NFC card reader. It seems like the game isnt working with the current version of the game.

If you are able to play the game is really a lot of fun and enjoyable for everyone who likes trading card games.

The quality of every card is extremely good and all the artwork is really nice.

I really hope the Malkyrs Studio finds a way to continue its work at the game. I would really appreciate this and I would like to buy more stuff from the game.

As great as this game is, I wish its target demographic wasn’t so restrictive. And by restrictive, I mean that you need both a reader and cards to play the game. I Kickstarted the project, and I’m one of the lucky few who fit both the criteria. Not everyone got a reader as I did.

The gameplay is seamless and intuitive. The writing not being on the cards kinda sucks, but you memorize what does what quickly in the story mode. Speaking of which, it’s incomplete.

The game is mostly unfinished in terms of single-player content. The studio for the game went bankrupt, and now the community is waiting for someone to pick up the pieces. That being said, if you have friends, cards and readers (the latter two you can probably buy from someone who doesn’t want to play anymore, and i assume you can buy friends), it really is a damn good CCG. Such a shame.

VR King of Battle Cards

VR King of Battle Cards

This game started off a bit rough and hard to play, but the developer continued to work on and improve the game, and the results are showing a lot.

The game is fun to play and anyone who loves card games would love this too; each creature has its own stats and you can improve each cards individual stats, such as a creatures speed, attack speed, strength, etc, so you can make creatures a lot stronger. The potential for this game is big, and I cant wait to see what new creatures and spells get added into the game, as well as multiplayer hopefully in the future!

Card Crawl

Card Crawl

Card Crawl is a really good casual, card based video game. It’s easy to learn and enjoyable to play. There are two things that make Card Crawl great: First, playing a full game doesn’t take long. A full game averages maybe five minutes. Second, this is a game that is a lot more tame when it comes to the difficulty. This is not another frustrating/rage inducing game. Success in Card Crawl depends on what cards you are dealt, and how you choose to play them. There is some strategy involved and you do have to think about how you want to play your cards. There are also a lot of special ability cards that you can unlock as you continue to play and get better. The game’s randomness with regards to what cards you are dealt, and which special ability cards are also randomly chosen for you, provide tremendous replay value for Card Crawl. There are also extra gamemodes and characters that can be unlocked as well. This is a game that can be enjoyed in both short play sessions and long play sessions. There’s also a mobile version available for Android (on Google Play), and for iOS (on the App Store). Card Crawl is definitely one of the very best card based video games that there is. For a game that costs so little, you get so much in return. Card Crawl is great if you like casual games and/or card games. I highly recommend it!

Very fun, well crafted, simple game hampered by its unnecessarily grindy quest/unlock system.

You play against a random deck drawn from a fixed set of cards 49, and you get to choose 5 “ability” cards to mix in for a total of 54. The ability cards are fun, but you’re heavily reliant upon the luck of when they show up.

You unlock more ability cards with credits you earn as you play. Credits earn decently fast and you can read card descriptions before you pick which one you want to unlock, so earning them is not bad at all.

I really want to like this game! It has such an interesting dynamic game flow. The push and pull of timing your plays to be as precise and efficient as possible to end your turn before your opponent gets a chance to build up as much is very interesting. Sadly, the parts I was most looking forward to are the parts that could still use some work. The card based unit selection is fine, if a bit random. Card based building however seems to have some issues. If the game goes on long enough, I end up with a hand full of entirely gold mines turn after turn, when there are at most 2-3 on the map at any given time and once they’re built they’re either destroyed or bribed, so there’s no reason to have more than 3-4 in the entire ‘deck’. Being able to view the ‘deck’ for units and buildings or at least know what the hand drawing mechanics are would help me feel less frustrated about this.

I’d like to see more for this game. It has really no ‘story’ mode or anything that keeps you playing it, it ends rather quickly unless you want to go online. I’d like to see a story mode, card upgrades, transforms, things that add more depth. For a cheap game it’s good but I won’t spend hours playing it. I would love to see the ability to rotate buildings or destroy plants / stones that are in the way, as well as the ability to go THROUGH buildings with your troops or around trees as it can be too easy to trap the troops.

Very interesting game.

Unless you are good at remembering everything I suggest you take notes as you may get lost in some levels.

It is quite intriguing exploring a woman’s sexuality like this and I do recommend picking this up and trying it out.

My only 2 gripes with the game are:

1. There is no in game sound settings as it is rather loud.

2. There doesn’t seem to be a way to see which cards you have viewed or not when it comes to the view all cards achievement.

Interesting concept. I liked progressing through the story and learning more about the games different plots. Thought-provoking and brings a new experience to your steam library. For the price, it was incredible!!

Really great game, except passing neeeeeds to be implemented. If that happened my sausage would be so hard. Anyone updating this game still?

Maybe I’m not from Russia, but I like this game, too.

It has a very minimalistic style, something I prefer, and if you play it with friends you can have funny hours with it, even if you’re not sitting next to them.

Great game! Like UNO…only it’s fun and UNO sucks.

It’s a real shame this game is not more popular (yet), it’s actually really good!

The game itself is fun and allows for more intrigue and strategy than first meets the eye. While the basic concept of matching symbols between cards can seem a bit simplistic, the special action cards add a whole new dimension to it. Winning a hand or two and having some cards in your pile doesn’t mean much unless those cards can be used to form valuable combinations. This is where the intrigue and strategy comes in: which hands you need to win, which hands you need to make sure your opponent loses, what cards to swap, which cards to steal, etc.

Home Run Solitaire

Chill solitaire game. Very casual. Lots of special abilities to unlock that gives you different ways to play the game, and you are limited to four abilities at once. This means you can cater to your style of gaming. Nothing to brag about for graphics or sound, but the game is solid. Definitely recommended if you like casual card games.

I have been looking for a solitaire game like Fairway Solitaire and Home Run Solitaire is the closest I have found on Steam. While there are many games that are similar in basic game play, none of them have come close to being as entertaining as Fairway Solitaire, until I found this game. The story kept me entertained and addicted to this game until I completed it. I really loved the squirrel and wish he had more involvement in the game. I enjoyed the mini games to a point, though I never came to really understand the point of them in this game and was glad there was an option to stop those cards from appearing so I could just focus on playing solitaire and advancing the story. The power-ups and cards were well themed to the story and while there are many other solitaire games with themes and story lines, this one still manages to feel unique.

Jewel Match Solitaire 2 Collector’s Edition

Jewel Match Solitaire 2 Collector’s Edition

The main game is okay. The bonus games are useless. I tried several and every one of the attempts ending with “No moves left.” Some times this happened very early in the spread.

I tried the “Hint” feature and discovered it moved cards around unproductively.

I am not completely disappointed as the main game is functional and mostly entertaining. There are a few spreads near the end where I spend more time flipping the deck cards than I care too because only one or two cards are open for use.

This Collector’s Edition is two games in one! After finishing the main game it unlocks a new game, plus more stuff to buy in the store, more backgrounds, etc. So this game is well worth the money.

It took me 28 hours to complete everything, except one of the hard achievements (play ace, king, queen, jack, and 10 all of the same suit and in that order! What are the chances that can happen?!?!?!)

For those of you who already know how to play this type of “solitaire” you can skip this paragraph. For those who are new to it, let me explain a bit how it works. You are given a display of cards facing down with a few cards facing up on top of them, and at the bottom there is your deck and any jokers and bonus abilities you have plus an undo button. You play by clicking on cards that number one up or one down from the card dealt from the deck. For instance, if you have a four, then you can click on a three or a five. You can rack up chains sometimes like: 2,3,4,5,4,5,6. Try to go back and forth, up and down like that. If you do a long enough chain (I think it’s 6 cards) you get a bonus. The longer the chain, the bigger the bonus.
