Dungeon Arsenal
Mesmo nunca tendo tanto interesse em jogos de cartas nesse estilo, consegui tirar umas boas horas de divertimento. Recomendo!

Extremely good and addictive game. This is a rogue-like and card-based game. You have to manage between killing enemies, flipping cards to get better items or running away to survive. In this game, you should set the best strategy to clean a room managing your mana points. If you like card games and rogue-like, you should play this game. Score: 8/10.

The game is decently fun but there is no content what so ever. I wish there was a way to edit my deck and a story mode or something. As things stand it’s not worth the money as the only option available is to fight the AI.

Castlehold
Was looking for a game that was fun but not as addictive as MTG Arena. This is it, although I’m not quite sure how much longer the fun is going to last.
The pros:
-
fun game design that promises quick gameplay. There’s no point in alt-tabbing during your opponent’s turn, because you want to see your opponents play in real time. The game is usually over in less than 8 turns - and if it goes longer then that’s where the game gets really fun and interesting.
-
no lag issues, good graphics and artwork, decent sound effects.

Castlehold has a quite simple base principle, which is quite a bit different from most card games. Players have only a single life, and units move around on a battlefield, and I like this principle.
At the moment the game is still in a quite early phase, and it is quite rough, however, the developers did quite a good job in the last 3 days to patch the game.
-
Start player advantage was made smaller
-
First balance patch was applied, which makes a certain 2 card combo less dominating
-
Several performance patches were deployed (and some bugfixes)

Artifact
Valve got greedy.
Apparently Valve forgot everything they learned from TF2, CS:GO and Dota2. Making fun games fully accessible to everyone. Online games without players and communities are destined to fail.
But… Nope. Valve decides to exclude 90% of the World.
-
Pay for the game.
-
Pay for cards to play the game, making the best cards the rarest and therefore most expensive. (when they said power level wouldn’t be related to rarity)
-
Pay to enter prize modes.
-
Take a % cut of prize mode entry fees.

Valve has literally abandoned the game…
Edit: 13/03/2021
This game was so hyped at the time, and for me, the gameplay lived up to it for me when it launched, it was so different from everything that I’ve tried before and I did not even know Dota 2 universe… But after years waiting for something, it’s finally Official, both versions of the game, Classic and Foundry, will not be in further development… Here is some of the main things that were impactful during all this time being a casual player.

Blackjack Hands
Loved this game, it’s a great mashup between threes and blackjack.
I loved to play poker hands, this sequence is also very good.
I recommend this game if you want a relaxing but also challenging puzzle game

Interesting idea to mix puzzles and card games rules. Random elements brings a touch of card game feel.
Art is simple but nice, as well as the relaxing soundtrack. Good for card fans.

Cards & Tankards
100 Hours. Wow.
So where do I even start? This community is wonderful, compassionate, and caring for everyone in the tavern. If you find any trolls or general annoyances, a simple report and a minute or two will sort the problem with in-game moderators to the case in a very short amount of time. The devs can also be found often playing games and in taverns, welcoming new players, answering questions, and even sometimes subtly hinting at new plans for the game. There is no Pay-To-Win at all in the game, not even if you wanted to. If you did want to support them however, you can buy gems which use real world money and go straight to the devs and back into the game if you use their website. These gems can be used to buy cosmetics and a premium pass.

Constant executable not found or disk write error when trying to launch. Previously had to keep reinstalling to get it to work right. Work around being to launch the game is through steams current downloading folder and engaging the exe from there. This occurs no matter what drive I point it to for the install be it my SSD or my HD and is the ONLY game this happens with out of all over 1000 of my other games this has never happened before. It makes it a pain to have to launch all the time.
With that said, despite what a pain it might be to launch the game it’s worth it. The only thumbs down I’m giving is for technical issues which aren’t addressed and not to do with my side of hardware. The community is helpful and nice, the game is a great idea and well implemented. It’s an all around fun game that I think might develop into something even better. It’s not pay to win in any way, anything purchased for currency is cosmetic only which is really nice. Everyone has equal chances at getting to the same place just some look fancier than others.

Infinity Wars: Animated Trading Card Game
Infinity Wars seemed like it was going to be a spectacular game. Now, it is like almost all other free to play games in almost all respects—you have to pay to play and it’s full of promises that are never delivered.
I have sunk a considerable amount of time in this game and have heard and read a lot about debated topics and other babble from the developers, so this short review has a good foundation. To start, I will list the cons, which dwarf all pros in such a way, now, that it’s hard to even fathom why I got hooked on this game in the first place.

You know, this game has been dead/dying for the better part of a year, and a review would only be an exercise in catharsis. Anyway.
This TCG was the best. Seriously. There really isn’t another F2P game right now that replicates Infinity Wars gameplay. At least without the scummy microtransactions (Nova Blitz). 7 factions (8 counting factionless) and you can mix and match cards from 3. Literally 84 combinations are possible before you’ve even made your deck. The game was well balanced given the possibilities, too, which was handily impressive, and simultaneous turns made for a lot of down-to-the-wire-I-just-crapped-my-pants moments. Because no matter how bad the situation is, the advantage can change hands within a single turn. Such a satisfying feeling.

Lifing
This game is an incredibly unique and complex roguelite deck builder. It does however have a few flaws right now, but despite that I still think it’s a solid game.
The lack of a tutorial for mechanics as well as there being no reference for what card symbols do/mean (there’s a tooltip when scrolling over a card but it only explains the first symbol) makes it very hard to get into.
Jumping from island to island feels fun, but the fights themselves could use some tweaking. So far there’s no way to tell where enemies or resources will spawn on an island. You can bounce to the next island and have no energy/draw resources spawn near you (energy is needed to play cards and you don’t draw cards naturally), which can end your run if your deck isn’t ready to deal with that. I’ve also had my farthest run ended instantly because I hopped onto a new island and the enemy guardian spawned directly next to me and was able to one shot my guardian (which is a game over), no way to survive at all for my guardian.

Short version; it’s not done. In theory the mechanics and assets are there for a game. Sadly it fails at a basic level. As in I don’t know how someone put in so much work, but ever actually got it working.

Poker Hands
Smart game, mixing poker with logic puzzle.
Good to spend time during quarantine.
Nice cards design and soundtrack.

edit: the april 9 patch fixed some technical issues, so I edited the review to reflect said changes.
poker hands mixes the matching mechanics from games like 2048 with the rules of poker. move all available cards at the same time and try to create hands (5 cards) according to the goals displayed in the top right corner. pushing cards against walls merges them, but you can also use incomplete hands to block, as you can’t merge two hands of 3 cards, for example.

Sefirot Shards
Sefirot Shards is a turn-based strategy game with RPG and Collectible Card Game elements, imbued with the spirit of classic fantasy. Plunge into a world where palace intrigues are replaced by the invasions of the undead, and the gods are playing their deadly game. Gather a squad and solve all the secrets that Sephiroth has prepared for you.
The world in Sefirot Shards consists of many levitating shards, each of which is unique and represents a well-developed location. Among them, you can find city-states, small settlements that live their own lives, fragments where the undead reign, and some do not obey either logic or physics at all. The player will have to explore them together with his squad, simultaneously pumping various skills and increasing the level of skill.
