Dragon Creek
Before I get into this review, I will definitely state that this game is honestly not for everyone. In fact, the game is very niche- which is not a criticism, but it is something to mind when contemplating purchasing this game.
The game is very simple, but its simplicity is the beauty of it. You can generate a dragon at the shrine, train it up, battle it, and rank it up.
If someone is looking for a farm simulator with dragon training, this is not that game. The farm can be upgraded, but all upgrades pertain to improving your dragon’s situation. The only thing remotely akin to farming is purchasing the plot upgrades- which you cannot place yourself- so you can grow your own food so you do not need to buy food for your dragon as often from the food stand.

Wow, Dragon Creek. Where to begin…
It’s so adorable! It’s a simple, cute game about raising your own dragon. You have 4 different species that you can get, them being the European Dragon, the Eastern (Lung) Dragon, the Cat-Lung, and the Wyvern. There will be more species on the way too, so keep an eye out. The dragons can be generated through a randomizer or you can put “codes” in to create your own. (Hint: Try messing around with specific dragon names…) You feed, pet, and wash your dragon in this game.

ROUNDS
A brilliant game with friends. I must have played 200+ matches and no two have been the same. Great balancing system and a sprinkling of luck built-in to ensure matches are competitive while still giving the edge to the more skilled players.

TLDR good game though modding makes it even better
Base game.
If i had to choose a game that i will play and is pvp 1v1 this is almost always one of the best choices to make.
This game has all of the greatness of stick fight but with little to none of the issues.
Simply put this game is pretty good by default.
Modded game.
Do you have slight issues with something then why not try playing without it.
Would like to try some thing wacky go for it.
Would you like picking 5 cards at the very start and at the end of EACH round you got it. (can get 25 cards in 1 match).

Ratropolis
Call me a dues-paying member of ‘The Cult of the New’ when it comes to genre mash-ups like this. I can’t get enough of them. When Slay the Spire came out and combined roguelites and deck-builders I was hooked for 100+ hours and even back in my pre-COVID table-top gathering days, deckbuilders (Dominion/Thunderstone) were my favorite. The combination of control and RNG is so delicious and it’s exciting to see all of the ways developers are using this in either quality design or just experimenting with a gimmick.

A very tentative recommendation. In terms of my play-time, I’ve completed most content (including wave 120), so I feel I’ve enough experience with the game to give a moderately informed review.
In a nutshell, this game is a very polished game that reminds me of my days playing free games in the heyday of flash. Take a Newgrounds defense game and add a massive layer of professionalism and that’s this game. You play a defense game where your units, economy, and development are linked to a deck built throughout a session. It is hard. You will lose a lot. But there will be an “ah-hah!” moment where you understand what the game wants from you and suddenly it will be rare to lose.

Nexoria: Dungeon Rogue Heroes
I guess two keywords would perfectly describe this game: “hardcore” and “roguelike”. If you don’t like any of those, then it’s likely not the game you may enjoy. But if you do and the Darkest Dungeon title rings a bell then this game is certainly worth a shot. While the game lacks a tutorial badly, still the learning curve is not too steep and experimenting with game mechanics feels rewarding. The combat requires more tactical thinking and becomes less forgiving as the party progresses deeper in the dungeon. The level of combats diversity remains decent even after multiple playthroughs. Still the game challenges not only skill but also patience due to occasional crashes and annoying visual effects. But overall, I’m enjoying this game very much.

This roguelike has some interesting features and it’s not bad for the price, but I lost my progress too many times to leave a positive review. So far the game had 5 crashes, 3 menu locks, and other unexplained glitches that forced me out of the game. To be fair, the developer fixed some of them, so it’s not as bad anymore. By the way, you can only save your progress after each boss fight, which is fine, but I am constantly restarting because of those technical issues. Also, I am not a huge fan of colorful effects in this game, some enemies just blind the crap out of you - dev told me to use numbers (because you might as well play blindfolded).
