The game is unpolished and way too short for the asking price. The English translation is perfect.

What is this game about?

This Throne Is Mine - The Card Game is very simple game, where each turn you are presented with “problems” that require either a certain number of strength or diplomacy to solve. Your cards have strength or diplomacy + a special which is very simple, such as boosting one of the several type of resources. You can upgrade cards to strengthen their effects or buy general upgrades. Ultimately, this is foremost a resource management game with very light deckbuilding. If that sounds interesting to you and you don’t expect too much from the graphics, story or expect very deep mechanics, it’s a game that can be fun to play for a while to beat the challenges set by the developers.

From developers

I am an indie game developer and this is my first time to make game.

I want to make a game I’d like to play, after all I am the first player.

I wish it has beautiful characters which you could enjoy,

I wish I am not only an outsider of history, I build story through each option.

Goddess Of Card War

Goddess Of Card War

I think this is a “You get what you pay for” sorta thing but….I’m still iffy on the price (I got it at discount/sale too). So…I’m tentatively going to give it a thumbs down (I’ll explain in point 2). The game is interesting if you’re really into grinding. If you’re not into grinding, this is a hard pass.

The game’s story…doesn’t exist. I was taken back at first that there was no tutorial, I was thrown into battle right away, and I was lost for about 20 seconds then realized…you don’t do anything. This is a semi-idle game that is bad at the idle part. The combat is fully automated, there is no control there. That said, most battles take 6-12 seconds, and you have to constantly re-enter or go to the next map/area. So you still have to manage it but without any kind of actual game play. You set a formation of up to 9 characters and you can equip them with stuff and little things to grind to make them more powerful, which I’m not gonna lie, is pretty fun in its own way.

The character is very beautiful, there is nothing to say.

Ancient Enemy

Ancient Enemy

No other words can describe this game other than amazing.

I already adore solitaire, and this game’s take on it showed me a perspective of which I thought I’d never see. In fact, I feel the trailer doesn’t do the game justice, because while it looks like a slow and boring game of solitaire, it actually is a game filled with bits of satisfaction when you get a great hand and are able to do half the enemy’s health in a single hit. I also love how they managed to create a build system, that while not complex and mostly interchangeable, does allow certain styles of play. For example, mine started as careful defense followed by a counterattack in the right moment, but evolved into creating enormous combos and decimating each enemy before they could even touch me. For example, I beat the final boss without taking a single hit. Spells are overpowered only if you play your cards right (pun intended), and enemies remain a threat while still being bearable and enjoyable. The difficulty scaling is very slow and steady, so none of the fights I faced felt like complete BS, while still being challenging victories (mainly in the pursuit of more stars). As of this review, I beat Relaxed mode in 10 hours.

I beat the game and now i can make a full review of it.

The game is ok, with a good progression (maybe in the end you become too powerful) and

and an easy difficulty. Basically combining the cards in increasing or decreasing value and following the colors you build combos for more powerful moves and defenses.

There are also consumable items that honestly, of all that I had, I used only bombs and life potions and I was very good with it. There are also cards with extra powers that influence the combat cards and equipment cards, that like the consumables, there are only 4 or 5 that really have an interesting advantage, the rest is rubbish.

Out of the Park Baseball 22

Out of the Park Baseball 22

I have been playing OOTP off and on since it was in single digits. I have a love/hate relationship with this game. So, let’s talk about this dysfunctional relationship a bit.

First, how do I play? I am only interested in GM with slight manager touches - typically, setting lineups and pitching roles, and team strategies - because the AI is atrocious at this, but I hardly ever manage or watch a game. I just sim sim sim. For me, I like to do the majors with fictional players, or a full redraft of real players and go from there.

Real player with 2341.3 hrs in game

I didn’t want to buy this game at first, given Out of the Pockets’s complete and total greed with their Perfect Team system. However, OOTP came out with some nice updated graphics, a cool new tournament system (Perfect Draft), and made promises to fix one of the largest and most glaring flaws with the Perfect Team system : live players being trash tier in comparison to pretty much every single historical equivalent.

Okay, so…how’d they do?

Graphics : Are updated. But, now, it is clearly noticable that the attendance, no matter the era you play in, is full of cardboard cutouts. Literally. Your in-stadium audience is a bunch of flat, lifeless sprites. Now, I don’t know if this is a graphics option you can turn off or not, I have yet to look. If it isn’t….100% fail. Sorry.

Shadowhand: RPG Card Game

Shadowhand: RPG Card Game

Shadowhand (Solitaire/Battle-Card)

Options include Full-screen/Borderless Window, Tutorial, Show Blood and Custom Cursor. There are 3 difficulties (Relaxed, Normal, Very Hard), and each is clearly marked as to what is different. Difficulty can be changed before each chapter if you so wish.

The Basics:

Gameplay is similar to that of Faerie or Regency Solitaire, with cards being placed one lower or one higher. The first big difference here is that there are no face cards (Jack, Queen, King, Ace). Instead the cards range from 0 to 9. Zero can go on nine, and vice-versa.

Real player with 34.9 hrs in game

Shadowhand is a very fun and (mostly) relaxing way to spend an hour here and there. It took me around 23 hours to 100%, playing only on hardest difficulty.

I found it best to play 1-3 chapters per sitting. There are 22 chapters in total, with 8 hands each chapter after the first few tutorial-type chapters. There are also three difficulty levels that can be toggled on a per-chapter basis, with each chapter being replayable, so there is no need to create new profiles.

The base gameplay is similar to the usual solitaire titles on Steam, where you have a stock or draw deck each hand, and the objective is to basically clear the board of cards in sequential up and/or down chains, one card at a time. The card numbers range from 0-9 rather than your standard deck of cards, and there are 6 or 7 total suits.

Cabals: Card Blitz

Cabals: Card Blitz

Well, I have had many hours of fun trying to level up in this groovy title.

I just ran out of content upon reaching rank II.

There is strategy, and nail-biting, edge of your couch moments, and

there are times you take a break and play something else while you let

your high levels take time to level.

Looking forward to my first card over the monumental level 10 but

will wait for new content that is promised. With NO real end…

there isn’t a lot of drive to carry on at the moment.

I’m currently #4 on the worldwide PvP ladder in this game.

As you can see by my time spent in this game, I really tried to like it. It’s a fun browser game concept.

BUT you asked for $$$ after essentially everything you do. You can still have fun, but it’s God damn annoying.

Which would be something I could life with, if this game was more than a cash in.

There’s so much wrong:

  • At some point PvE simply ends. You LITERALLY can’t fight a single battle anymore.

  • You can only fight 5 PvP battles/ hours without paying $$$

Cards of Patience

Cards of Patience

Great game of Klondike/Patience (sort of) combined with simple random-generated Dungeon-Diving. You get thrown into a Solitaire type game in-progress against an enemy and have to discard from the Line into the Discard Pile all while managing items, potions and spells. Work your way through the dungeon to the boss. Don’t forget to keep upgrading your character after games, with the diamonds, because the bosses are not easy.

Only thing lacking is an in-game-progress Save feature though it does save your character development from game to game.

Solid rogue-lite card game.

You need some braincells to advance in this game - but this is what makes it worthwhile and replayable.

4/5.

Epic Battles of History

Exceptional card art and very interesting characters. Great potential to be a great game just need to improve the flow of the game. Also game is a bit buggy pls fix..I love it.

Real player with 60.4 hrs in game

  • The art in this game is amazing

  • A lot of fun cards

  • Very easy to learn

  • Everything in this game looks great, the menu, the heroes, the cards, the collection

  • Free to Play friendly

  • Lots of bugs

  • Very bad AI

  • Terrible mouse movement (because this is a mobile game)

  • Only 1 hero for free and the rest are very expensive and not worth unlocking

7/10 could be 8/10 without bugs and better mouse movement

EDIT

Game stop working I can’t recommend this anymore
