El Matador
When I bought this for 1.24 I was a little skeptical, but after about 9 hours in and done the game, I can saftely say it’s more than worth it, at first the game did feel pretty shitty, weapons shoot much differently than what you’d expect, the camera bobs when you pull the trigger and overall it felt awkward and clunky, but I gave it another chance and holy crap it’s really fun! Weapons are actually satsyfying to use, it’s nice to one shot an enemy on the head with my pistel and see a cloud of blood fill his face as he turns into a ragdoll, sometimes they’ll fly all over the place!

El Matador is one of those games that’s launched too late to cash in on a trend, and are too average to stand out among the other shooters, so it ended up being a bit of… meh.
The setup is simple… Victor Corbett, DEA, after prologue mission (where he gets to shoot up a night club alongside Mexican Federal Police to catch a bad guy) is being sent to Colombia where he, was assigned by Colombia National Police chief to “observe” a local drug meeting. When his observation post was hit by RPG, he fought his way out and went on the exterminate multiple drug barons, with a bit of help on the local side… but as you can guess, there’s going to be a huge betrayl at the end… who’s the real bad guy, and who’s just a pawn?

Tick Tock Bang Bang
While the game is not horrible, it’s not that great either.
You do get some levels to try out, which is mostly the main part of the game.
A little less cleaner than their “Drunken Robot Pornography” game?
While what they created could be great, and see where the game shines the most at.
It also feels so thrown together from their other title and is NOT worth it by any means for the FPS experience.
It’s more about a challenge or puzzle with sometimes little to no wiggle room for completion (by design?).

Not good if you’re looking for anything but a shoddily-made SUPERHOT clone.
I thought this would build further on Drunken Robot Pornography since it’s a mod of it, but it’s hands-down worse.
Sure, more things were added, but even making your own levels you can’t use this game as a superior version of DRP for the following reasons:
-Time distortion is not optional.
-You’re stuck with the new gun, though it wouldn’t be so bad without time distortion.
-Instant death not optional, it was hardcoded into this game even though it’s optional in the arena editor; what I don’t understand is why instant death was added in the same way jetpack was removed, by having it ticked by default in the arena editor.

Destructo
Quite a good game. I admit there are some issues that need to be resolved but overall it’s rather good. I would like it for more weapons to be had and finding things easier like keys and the like. I also think there should be some more places to explore than just the one city. Overall it’s good if you just like to walk around and blow stuff up in a way. Perhaps more weapons and more effects like fireballs and flames from buildings and the like would make it better.

F.E.A.R.
“Cruelty is the law pervading all nature and society; and we can’t get out of it if we would.” ― Thomas Hardy, Jude the Obscure
Wow, has it really been 15 years since this classic hit our gaming libraries? I must confess, some games do not age well, but F.E.A.R. is not one of them. After all this time, it still is one of the best horror fps titles around, by even establishing some ground rules for the genre and introducing the best A.I. ever in horror fps. Let’s take a close look at Monolith’s timeless masterpiece, then.

This game is a fu*king masterpiece! After so many years, the only thing that has aged badly is graphics. Compared to modern standards it is ugly…
but the game is so much fun that I dont mind it!
The physics is great fun, the AI is still very good, they flank you they hide and shoot from cover.
The guns are awesome and you can feel ‘the joy’ when you kill your enemies with them I personaly love dual pistols, shotgun and… NAIL RIFLE, a rifle that shoots big metal bolts, kind of like wooden stakes for vampires but a bit smaller and metal, and every enemy you kill with it is literaly… nailed to a wall or any other surface behind him and stays that way, which is great as the engine keeps the bodies on map for a very

Wanted Killer VR
Very good game.
Long story short, the game definitely worth my money.
I’ve got several hours of high-quality gameplay and excitement about future updates.
I would give it two ratings.
First, potential. In this regard, it is 9/10.
I believe that if everything goes well, the game is going to be a hit.
It gets 9 only because there is nothing to be completely sure about.
Second, the current state of the game.
And it is 7/10.
It is not 8 because there are things like AI, animations of enemies, player’s hand, the gameplay of some levels which can be improved. But! As for the first early acces release, everything is fine.

The developer gifted me this for review and testing purposes.
Wanted Killer VR is a good fun arcade shooter with upgradable weapons. Has campaign and locomotion options. It is a cartoon comic theme type game but looks good. I think you will enjoy this. It keeps you on your toes. It starts off easy but progresses along nicely. During game play there are health and armor pickups. Don’t compare this to the big boys of VR gaming and remember this is an arcade type shooter so the gun play is NOT realistic. But the variety of guns are effective and the enemies move around enough to make it seem like they are kind of smart. They at times shoot at you from all directions so no standing still here. The menu has some options to change but is early access so give the developer time to add things and tweak the game. Give feedback first. Not negative reviews. Let’s give these Indie devs a chance to do something before squashing them. Yeah? For me the game is fun. This is one to add to the library. Everything seemed to work so my rating as it is right now is 7/10.

Beyond Enemy Lines 2
Beyond Enemy Lines 2
Really enjoyed the SP experience - bought the game because it reminded me of OpFlashDR - big maps ( outdoor and indoor ) , liberty to approach the objectives , tense momments , brutal AI , no saving , FOV slider present , you can see your legs and are not just a floating camera which adds to the immersion , 21/9 support ,would have liked a stealth kill with knife - the existing melee kill animation is very rudimentary and not satisfying , liked the guns selection and their presentation !

this game is pretty good,but.. the bugs are ticking me off . for instance enemy appears and disappears if you move either way, and they just appear out of nowhere. And now i have completed the army base mission, all i get for the next mission is a cheqered box. I would appreciate any feedback if poss. thanks.

Dread Templar
(Don’t Fear) The Templar
It took playing the recent Quake remaster, but now I get it.
It’s good. Nay, ace. No doubt about it. If it wasn’t up against the stiff competition that is the years upon years of high quality ‘boomer’ shooters, this would be a completely unqualified early access recommendation.
Ultrakill, Ion Fury, Post Void, Project Warlock 1 + II, Amid Evil, DUSK, HROT, Maximum Action, GTTOD, Prodeus, Cultic, etc - be they full games, early access, or just demos, the retro, ‘boomer’ shooter genre really is booming. I also cannot wait for the likes of Into the Pit, Fortune’s Run, and Forgive Me Father. In fact, there are so many that even when I say that I’d place this firmly mid-list it’s not even that damning.
– Real player with 10.1 hrs in game
TLDR; If you like retro shooter gameplay, and would like to have fun, buy it now!
I will just start listing what comes to mind, that makes me love this game, then write some experiences from my first 8 hours of playing on the hardest difficulty so far. Smooth movement with air controll using the mouse, running feels similar to classic doom (taking a short time to reach full speed), satisfying meaty gun sounds and very good feedback with lots of gore, build variety that actually changes gameplay, bullet time, stylish awesome visuals, amazing soundtrack, atmosphere, very good enemy and level design, exploration with rewarding secrets to find, weapon swapping combos combined with positioning during combat.
