Evorales
I’m not a big enthusiasthic about danmaku shmups, however I think this game is gonna make me enjoy the genre more and more from now on. Very simplistic but pleasing to the eye graphics, a great soundtrack and a tight gameplay.
I don’t think I’ll get good enough to finish the game on “Nightmare” difficulty any time soon, but one day I might get lucky and destroy the Gnuferno once and for all! 💣🐃💥

its a pretty good and well polished game. the only flaw i have is that you are overwhelmed by the amount of stuff to learn when you start. perhaps a tutorial level where you could try out and practice those mechanics would be good. but apart from that great game. by the way, what engine / language did you use to make the game?

Another Warfare
This game has great effects, particles and all.
Enemies are standard.
Mechanics are good by themselves.
But level design is really bad.
Levels look alike, which makes you don’t like the visuals.
besides last 2-3 level they are not challenging in any way and this makes mechanics useless too
But in the end It’s not boring or anything. It is 175MB you can just buy&download&try in no time.

In Another Warfare time moves only when you move, like in SUPER HOT. But now, in a 2D environment
I had a lot of fun playing through the whole game. It’s a short experience, fair for the price offered.
The level design really impressed me. You can really grasp the mechanics and different enemy types just by the levels themselves, learning as you progress. I never found myself stuck in a level that felt too difficult and were never bored by a level that felt too slow or easy.

Last Soul - Prologue
Ok. I’ll start saying that this game is AMAZING. Now, some details. The music is getting you to the perfect hectic state that any gamer wishes. It makes you focus only on the game. Nothing else matter.
To control the game with the Keyboard, is a bit of a challenge. I hope they change to WASD and set the feature to IJKL (for example). But, if you play using an Xbox Control, it’s flawless. The jumping distances, the shooting, the explosions, everything shows that these guys took the time to test their game thoroughly.

I have just played the demo version and I like it! I would recommend it with no doubt.
It is a platform game which remembers classic ones in 80/90’s with a Star Wars / futuristic flavour that could engange everyone ;)
Music and graphics are enough good to be playable (you can enjoy the music by itself if you subscribe their newsletter so you can appreaciate it because in the game, you are focused to shoot and kill enemies).
Game mechanics are not new (double jump, dash, climb, etc.) but are implemented in a very good way :)

Loud or Quiet
Loud || Quiet tries to combine Hotline Miami and Payday, but because a lot of the mechanics from Payday don’t work so well in a single player experience, it ends up playing like Metal Gear Miami, except you don’t have Snake’s gear (not even a cardboard box) or Jacket’s brutal melee, which makes going loud or quiet a huge pain in the ass. While being able to buy weapons is nice, I would much rather have to pick them up from the enemy instead of having to search for an ammo box.
A noble attempt but as is kinda frustrating.

Good value for money, like hotline Miami but abit more forgiving. It’s a simplistic top down shooter an extremely varied soundtrack then look no further. Was a bit confused with the controls and what to do to begin with but once I got the hang of it was alright. But you need to make it clearer that the computer in the apartment is used to start missions.

Orbital Bullet – The 360° Rogue-lite
Before OBs latest update the game may have been small with regular updates to areas, weapons, and perks, but it was also pretty much bug free, promising for an early access game, and worth the small price. Since the For Eternity update I can’t recommend the game anymore. Every perk and ability had their points removed, not refunded, and previous games were erased. This game is not connected to a cloud so recovering those saves is out of the question. Replaying and unlocking everything was not fun a second time since the update brought an overload of bugs. Mobs still getting stuck in terrain preventing you from advancing even though the devs state they fixed it, perks showing they’re unlocked but not taking effect, getting some perks although I haven’t unlocked them, picking up ammo but weapons showing as empty and unable to fire your weapon, among many others, as well as horrible optimization that eats your PC’s memory.

honestly it’s delightful. I was sceptical of the concept when I downloaded the demo when steam had the big showcase a few months back, Foregone and orbital bullet(even as demos) became my go to games for short burst of entertainment when I only have 20-45 minutes to kill. I’ve logged about 35 hours since purchase and I haven’t ever felt like the gameplay became repetitive or grindy, the versatility of randomized skill tree builds, gun drops, maps, and merchant pickups makes it feel like a new challenge and keeps things interesting. Gun play is unique, the soundtrack is decent and the in-game sounds and various creature/enemies, the development investment is incredibly apparent and appreciated, it doesn’t feel like a clone of this or that, it’s pretty unique, to me at least, albiet that’s said with my semi limited scope of current and recent releases. End of the day Im more than happy with the purchase, obviously at some point the allure and interest is gonna fade, but for a game I could easily see myself dumping 100 hours into in the next year or so, at 11-12$ that’s a steal. it’s just fun the machanics are solid, a few small bugs but nothing game breaking, and in early access I am definitely more than a little excited to see what a polished fully developed iteration of this game will be. good stuff.

Tranject
Mixed feelings:
The text ingame is in English but contains excessive amounts of typos, grammatical and punctuation errors, and phrases that seem misused. This could be the intention of the developer, but it doesn’t seem clear one way or the other.
The controls are basic but it feels lacking in tutorial.
Ingame, there are a number of graphical and mechanical bugs/glitches that should be fixed (Namely, player collisions with walls/obstacles and the sideways motion of spaceships).
The main gameplay seems like it should be refined more, to lessen the learning curve and possibly add more fallback mechanics.
