ASCII Attack
I’ll keep this review a lot more concise than my usual ramblings…because hey, this is a straightforward game and deserves a straightforward review.
To wit; ASCII Attack is a simple arcade shooter that really embodies the pick-it-up-and-count-on-your-reactions gameplay of classic 80s games, and I mean that in a good way. In a world where game authors slap “retro” labels on anything they’ve created that is too hard because they’ve failed to put in the work to balance the gameplay and controls, ASCII Attack is a refreshing return to form as a game that truly embraces the retro feel. The gameplay is often challenging, but never unfair or overly punishing.

I’ve spent around an hour with ASCII Attack so far but wanted to get a review out for other potentially interested gamers.
This game has mechanics that are heavily influenced by an old school arcade game called Assault (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fxdh1hRqK2k) . In that arcade game you had two sticks which controlled each side of the tank individually, requiring some amount of dexterity and learning on the part of the gamer to be successful at it.
Thats the kind of game ASCII Attack is. There isn’t any hand holding, there are a few screens explaining how to move in the game, no tutorial, no bullshit, you just jump in and get owned because you aren’t automatically amazing at a control mechanic you don’t use every day (like WASD or something like that).

Fortress V2
The product is great! However, there certainly are some very ill-manned, inconsiderate folks here who in reality certinaly deserve an ass-whooping!! I, as a Korean, feel a little bit ashamed whenever after getting acquainted with other Korean-friendly players from different parts of the world, ask me to verify what other shitty, inconsiderate Korean players were saying to them while playing online. I completely understand what the heck happened because I, myself, was a victim of harassment, taunts by my fellow Korean here and in other gaming sites and communities. Just because someone does not know your language and is not able to retort back to you in a snap, it does not mean that they are vulnerable retards, people!! It is so much easier to collect live evidence and present it to someone else for further scrutiny and verification.

Game is ded.
English may be the game’s text, but your going to need google translate for the players.
The Koreans will dodge matchmaking and run off to their custom rooms to avoid playing with you.
Have fun playing with bots tho.

Techno Tanks
Nice arcade, which is much more funny and interesting than standart tanchiki game.
Liked paints, graphics, picture of this game - and MOREOVER, it doesn’t require strong PC))
I play - improve my level - make upgrades, but please, developers, make new and more upgrades please. It will be much better with them
So - u like arcade tanks - i recommend at least to play it once

It would be cool if you could play online :|
But based on the fact that it is not available in the game I want to say the following:
This is a representative of a well-developed indie game for a reasonable price.
The game features both single-player and competitive split-screen battles.
This is not a recommendation. It is an informative review that simply describes in brief the essence of the game in case a potential player would like to see a brief analysis of the game.
I am not a full-fledged reviewer or critic, so please take my words without any peer review or vice versa.

Furious Angels
FA is a minimalistic, short and sweet arcade dogfighting shooter that is so much more than what you may think. Somewhat easy to get into, surprisingly hard to master.
Gameplay
Furious Angels (FA in short) is all about… blowing stuff up. While trying not to die. All while babysitting the helpless mothership. And of course, get a good looking score. Oh, and there’s no campaign, no story, no upgrade grinding. Only explosions. And scores.
Your goal - face the endless hordes of enemies that want you and your mothership dead. Losing either is a Game Over. Stay alive as long as you can, get that big big combo, but your fate is sealed before it all begins. You’ll lose. As for how, it’s up to you to decide.

I don’t write many Reviews.
I think most Games do not deserve, or need my opinion.
And I usually don’t feel well as an advertisement writer.
But this one game is different. For me, this is a hidden Gem.
This is the only game i play everyday for 5-10 minutes. Since more then a Year.
No other game got me hooked like this. I think I can say I like it a bit.
Maybe it is just a me-thing. Maybe it appeals just to my personal taste.
It is arcade-y, and in a way that makes it great … I love the Explosions.

Tiger Tank 59 Ⅰ
Lucky me gets to write the first English review for Tiger Tank 59 Ⅰ. This is a free to play 2D top down shoot ‘em up where you control what I think is some kind of tank against a bunch of other tanks. It’s hard to tell, as the screenshots show, there’s some really bad graphics here.
Although this is a copy of the GameMaker Studio shoot ‘em up template, original assets have been used. GameMaker Studio is a terrible game construction kit, and you can’t build a nice house from a terrible foundation. Games made with GameMaker Studio are always, always terrible, and this game is no exception.

Aircraft Evolution
Control a plane that flies towards your pointer, drops bombs and fires missiles so you can wipe out hordes of enemies.
Its a close one here, the controls work fine, its quite neat getting new planes and upgrading them, and the variety of bombs and missions is pretty solid.
but it feels a lot like a mobile game that had microtransactions and wasnt balanced quite correctly when it was ported back to PC. Things go at a fair clip through the first part of the game, but around chapter 2 the difficulty ramps up faster than your money does and you end up in a sort of grind, particularly because even with the best plane in the game your bombs never do that much damage and there are a lot of enemies.

Aircraft Evolution is a casual indie sidescrolling shooter that follows in the footsteps of the 1987 classic Wings of Fury. In my opinion fans of WOF game most likely wont be disapointed acquiring Aircraft Evolution as it does a great job at it. The gameplay of Aircraft Evolution is pretty much about bombing the living hell out of the enemies of differnt eras of the history of airplanes and fending off attacking airplanes in different missions while upgrading and buying new planes. In the current early access build the plane is controlled with the mouse and 3 keyboard keys (z,repair -x,fuel-space,speed) and its rather simple to master. The graphics are hand-drawn and really nice to behold. I bought the game for 3.99 euros and feel i got great value for the money. I’ll rate the game 8/10.

Escape from Terror City
Review after completing hard mode.
I’m a renegade sector shill and usually like everything they put out, but I have a hard time recommending them to people. They tend to be interesting and fun design wise but lack the content and polish to justify their usually high prices. This is the first game from the dev that I think is worth the price asked even if you aren’t already a fan of the dev.
Very interesting take on cabal style shooters. Definitely leans more into the bullet hell aspect of games like Thunder Kid which is good IMO since the bosses of those games far outshined the platforming. For Escape from Terror City, the stage design is excellent in addition to the bosses due to the more focused bullet hell gameplay.

Hot Dam is this game fun!
It reminds me of contra or metal slug, but in a 3d world environment. Sure it may not have as much polish as a shoe from the 18th century, but there wasnt any glaring flaws. I had the camera clip in to a wall while playing when i got to close the the back wall of a certian part of a map, only ran in to it once, and when i did, i just moved fowards a little bit and i was back to seeing the whole game.
The level design is amazing, and what i mean by this is, every level has a choice for its path, theres a fork where you can choose where to go, you will get some unique mini boss’s then it will branch back with the other path before the final boss of the level.
