Burning Knight
Gameplay:
Fast and very replayable. The game balances well between extremely chaotic gameplay from Nuclear Throne and calmer gameplay from games like The Binding of Isaac.
Content:
There is really a lot of content, description of the game on steam says about that so I am just gonna say one thing: The big advantage of this game is that each item is not only different, but also there are almost no underpowered trash items. And overpowered items are always rare so the balance is pretty good.

Inspired (sometimes a little too inspired) by predecessors like Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon, Burning Knight has the core of a good game with a lot to like, but is absolutely ruinously lousy with bugs and design issues. When most itemization decisions are driven by whether or not the build will eventually cause the game to freeze even on a high-end system, something is badly amiss.
Visual clarity is a disaster; visual noise is everywhere, the lighting system adds further unclarity, and enemy bullets and effects can be of any color even when they’re not completely obscured by overlapping effects. Core mechanics are smooth and functional, except when they aren’t; inexplicably getting caught on a wall when attempting to move or dodge parallel to it is a frequent occurrence. Sometimes things just break in inexplicable ways; a player can die to their own pets/orbitals or even their own sword-attacks and never have any idea why it happened that run and not on the others. But worst of all, in the late game when the player’s growing pile of passive items starts including enough bullet-multiplying-and-guidance effects, the game becomes completely unstable, dropping frames or freezing for seconds at a time or ultimately becoming completely unresponsive and requiring the game to be closed, forfeiting all currency gained in the run.

Enter the Gungeon
as someone with a remarkable 352 hours logged into this game, It is absolutely amazing. not to be a pretentious ass and ramble on about it, but there is so much content unlockable for free after the purchase of the game, and an almost limitless amount of possible play time. 10/10 game

Fishticuffs
I saw a cod hold a gun like a mafioso. Jellyfish still as painful as they are irl. Fish whose one arm is extremely buff, probably cause his wife was fished. Can sell the fish to the black market. Communism. You can make fish shoot themselves as if they lived in such a country.
20/20 Game of the Year.

Honestly, I have fun with this but there’s a lot of things that don’t feel entirely good to put up with.
Your hook feels very slow, to the point of agony, and while I’m sure the late game is a blast, the early game definitely feels a bit lacking.
Also, there’s some items that just feel like a pain to get early on that really are only remotely viable when you have something else. Like, items that activate after damage are very common despite how liberal health is in the game.
Overall though, I’ve had a fun time with this so far, definitely going to give it more of a shot, but there are some things I dislike, but willing to push through to see how the game is a bit further on. Definitely a very tough game, and I look forward to hopefully cracking it some time.

Great game, figured i should change my review after awhile since the game has changed a lot since i wrote this review. Anyway, id reccomend this game to others, a fun game concept and has gone along ways from where it used to be.
SO quick little things to say quickly to people hopping on this game, first off, this games options, especially vid options, dont really work, for example, try changing your resolution, it it instead changes bit quality, and from other times ive messed with the options, they’ve had issues with not working or being weird or such, but from my current testing, it seems only video options have this issue, exept ambiant sound is always stuck at 0? I dont know but thats all with ui.

Hell is Other Demons
This game is super fun. Buy it. You will not be disappointed.
INTRO
I heard about this game from the Indie James YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YdTpHlyw1s
I was immediately hooked to the music and art style, and came over to Steam and bought the game. For ten bucks, this game is an absolute STEAL.
GAMEPLAY
Everything feels smooth and alliterative; many separate systems work together extremely well and the game has been play-tested into oblivion from what I can tell. Whenever something happens that causes you to die, you feel like it’s your fault, and not the game’s fault. I can’t stress enough how important that is in a game that plays like this, and for gameplay that goes as fast as this.

Hectic and great arcade bullet hell fun with stunning graphics (with an own touch). On top of that we are also being served an excellent, pumping, synth-wave soundtrack (a couple of tracks with that distorted, heavy metal, electric guitar that we all love as well) that just reeks of what we want to remember the 80’s were like.
I have no complaints what so ever. I could understand some people wanting a longer campaign mode (yes, it was quite short and I wouldn’t mind more) but I kind of see that whole part of the game as a tutorial or “getting to know the game”. It’s in the arcade style modes that the game really shines. Trying to climb the global leader boards. Trying the characters that all feel and play differently from each other. On top of that, you are also given a good upgrade system, great controls and sound effects that do their job. What I initially thought would be a quick little fun ended up being quite addictive.

IRA
For an Early Access Game this is pretty wholesome. What i would love to see in the future is :
-More maps/biomes ( the more the merrier, personally i think it would be wise to in the future even implement some kind of endless mode when the game/story/map is fully developed )
-New apostles ( that i see are awaiting to be introduced )
-1 more item slot 1 less bow slot for inventory
-Balances to weapons and especially the upgrade system:
If your run actually reaches Underground B2F you are 100% left with a lot of extra armor and upgrade credit you have nothing to do with, this can be fixed by allowing further upgrades of lower rarity weapons that also increases their rarity and also upgrades of higher rarity weapons

A very enjoyable experience so far. I have managed to reach Stage 3, and have really been enjoying the aggressive feel of the Apostle of Night. As a roguelike and bullet hell it has been scratching both itches. Once you get familiar to enemy patterns things start progressing much faster. Only thing I would like to see is a method to increase the effectiveness of the base bow (If there isn’t a way later). Maybe adding a passive to each Apostle to alter the base bow that needs both Stones and Fragments to upgrade.

Halloween is Crazy as Hell
Halloween is Crazy as Hell is a roguelike and bullet hell game, where you can have weapons that are completely different from each other with different special abilities, as well as items and little friends that will help you on your journey.
Game Content:
The Curse: Recently, a black font spell was created and then praised for evil. It’s powerful, it can make the Sun never rise again, allowing the moon to have the power at the top. The darkness allows the Halloween creatures rise to the surface, with the exception of introverts, who still prefer the underground anyway.
The Weapons: They are all empowered with the Curse, each one carrying a charge of “Super”, a still mysterious element that allows them to release the secret abilities of the weapons.
The Mission: Simple, but hard as bone. Find and destroy the source of this dark magic, and destroy all the altars that contain part of this magic along the way.
The journey is long, several friends will show up to help (at least the most of them). Help to end with it. No one can stand walking around and stepping on a pumpkin and slipping and falling to the ground anymore, no one can stand stumbling over bony legs and falling to the ground anymore, no one can stand anymore being frightened by shadowy bats and falling to the ground! This Halloween is Crazy as Hell!
Lake of Creatures
Lake of Creatures is a fast-paced action fishing roguelike, where you’re on a quest to hunt down a mythical lake monster. Increase your odds against the beast by finding loot, while traversing through randomly generated lakes riddled with hostile creatures. Catching and selling fish is mandatory, since buying more equipment will further improve your chances of success.
FEATURES:
- Randomly Generated Runs
Each time you start a new run, new lakes are generated containing different enemies, items and layouts! No run will be the same.
- Combat Modifying Item Synergies
The items you collect define a run. If you manage to find items that synergize well together, you might become an unstoppable killing machine. Getting overpowered is always fun.
- Exciting Fishing
This game doesn’t portray fishing like in real life, because in this game the fish actually does bite. You don’t have infinite time to wait for the bite though, as the night approaches fast bringing out scary ghosts, who lurk in the bushes.
- Fast-Paced Juicy Combat With Roguelike Elements
Satisfying twin-stick shooter, with classic roguelike features, like permadeath, random world generation and gameplay modifying items.
