Faith of Fate

Faith of Fate

This game is very well done! It has so many different levels you can encounter each time you play. So you get a new experience each time you play. There are puzzles inside of each level with some that are really tricky and unique. It is still under development so there are a few bugs that are being worked out, but there is enough game play that is established to make it worth the purchase. You are able to literally decide at almost any given time whether you are fighting with love or hate. The game is adorably created! I got to sit in with the developer while he played this game, and in turn he sat in with me while I played his game. Such a passionate developer he really showcases his talents in this game, and his love for what he is working on. So, in all, if you like puzzles and dungeon crawler types then this game is for you!

Zombie Party

As of May 19th 2016, I recommend. Lots of replay value.

It’s August 2019 and the game still provides much entertainment.

Zombie Party over all was a nice bullet chaos with RPG elements and chaos as a middle name. And you can you will be able to share it with your friends! There are more weapons and extra abilities than you can wrap your head around. There are 4 game modes (Adventure, Dungeon, Arcade & Deathmatch) so its your choice what you feel like. Set your pace with Dungeon mode or if you want a chaos filled flying bullet nightmare check out the other three modes. Plenty of entertainment if this is your flavor of game.

Zombie party is the first twin stick shooter that I’ve played in my life and I found the experience quite enjoyable. Although I can’t compare it to other games of this genre, I can clearly say that its a pretty well done game. It comes with lots of features, several game modes, it is vastly customizable and has huge replay value. All in all, it presents itself as an almost complete and solid product.

As a newbie in this genre, I found the learning curve quite easy. No matter the game mode chosen, you will have to do essentially the same thing: kill everything that dares to move. To accommodate myself with the game, I chose to play Dungeon mode first - maybe it’s the easiest of all since the mobs are usually in groups, therefore the player has enough time to plan their attacks.

Even for an Arkhouse game, this was a very masochistic experience, it’s shame because this game has a great story and I wish more people could experience it - it’s almost like the developer does not want anyone to see his artwork. It took me slightly over 4 hours to complete, it’s pretty long for a 2D bullet-hell, give or take a few hours depending on your reflexes. The narrative is connected to at least 2 other Arkhouse games, so if you skip those you might have a hard time understanding the importance of recurring characters. Even though I love the narrative in his games, Arkhouse stories are very metaphorical, there is some space for personal interpretation. Unfortunately, the difficulty is not fair, I don’t mind challenging gameplay, but a lot of it has to do with confusing hitboxes, punishing checkpoint system, and the need for excessive stage repetition. If you don’t play carefully you can potentially create a very poor checkpoint with low HP, although sometimes you can reload the game and go a bit further back.

Oh this game…

I WANTED to like this game. I SO wanted to! The art style and the music was interesting! And while the game was hard, it was still fun! But then in the middle, the game jumped the shark with a m weird maze and minesweeper level and PLATFORMING levels which made no sense!

And the levels starting getting VERY cheap and annoying! Sadistically cheap! Being hit out of nowhere by attacks you can’t see! Weakpoints that you have to guess to find! And the story jumping the shark like that! And the most annoying thing being much of the non-story text being backwards! That made things VERY annoying to understand!

This game is much more fun than many of the big budget high detail graphics AAA games. It brings the same kind of vibe as playing a game of Foosball or table tennis. Especially when playing against friends at home or online with Steam Remote Play Together. Playing against the computer is really nice too. And it’s hard enough to stay entertaining. Especially when playing the game modes that the developer created that are different than standard Pong. The simple graphics keep the game clean. In the matter that when you lose or win a point, you know exactly what happened and why. Unlike a lot of games where you sit there wondering what went wrong, or being mind boggled about what the game just did that just didnt seem right. I paid 1 euro and felt like I could easily share my love for the game by gifting the game to a couple Steam friends. One of them is TheJoyOfPuzzles on Twitch. He fell in love right away and played the game on stream for hours

Exactly the face-lift that classic pong needed. I am pretty sure that I am just scratching the surface of the growing complexity of the levels. There is a tough learning curve to just get competent at basic pong if you’re not already. totally worth it to get through the initial challenge and start conquering some of the later levels. Worth at-least a dollar. No question!

The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia

The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia

Textorcist pairs typing with typical “bullet hell” mechanics, resulting in a game that is, if nothing else, quite unique. You play an exorcist named Ray who uncovers a demonic conspiracy rooted in the church. Over the course of approx. 10 boss fights, you’ll battle increasingly difficult opponents by hammering out words on your keyboard while simultaneously avoiding projectiles. This results in a real challenge for people who aren’t good at multi-tasking…particularly for those who try to move with one hand and simultaneously type with the other.

The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia:

What is absolutely amazing about the human race is that while we are united in sharing life under the influence of one major element – gravity - we somehow manage to impose three of our own influences that divide us as a race. To me, these three common scourges are flags, politics and religion. They are the three main elements that we humans are always fighting against each other for. In terms of religion, scholars are still debating who wrote the first bible! However, there is one thing that really happened in the 90’s in the Vatican; a demonic outbreak ravished the holy state and a former priest, named Bibbia, Ray Bibbia, came to the rescue. You are about to enter the sensational and wordy (including Latin) journey of The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia.

## Offendron Warrior

Really nice and simple game.

Recomend:

1\. rebind controls for better gameplay.

2\. save missiles for more enemys on screen.

3\. let few last enemy to steal civilian an save them to get more score ;)

This is an excellent Defender clone with quite a bit more added to the original game-play. You have the ability to transform your ship into a slower-moving but faster firing warrior mode. And there are whole bunch of new enemy types to contend with. one of the nicest features in the game is the ability to change the game speed to suit your level of play.

Keep up the great work Hijong!

Overall I liked it a lot but it does have a few (very) rough edges. Shmup combined with metroidvania should be self-explanatory but what drew me to the game was tactical combat where you get slower while attacking, there are timed dodges and there are abilities that use the same resource bar as dodges. That makes it a solid foundation for some good bullet hell. Most of the bosses are very well designed and you get rewarded for exploration handsomely, with equippable accessories that modify your ship in various ways. Unfortunately there are a few issues I've had with it:

## Steel Alcimus

excellent heli combat game with different weapon variations and fast paced game play. cool story mode and arcade mode.

better than most other pc games i have played and available free, although worth paying for.

like other titles on steam from the same developer, this game may appeal less to casual gamer, and more to players who want to take the time to learn the difficult to master and fast paced gameplay and options.

if you enjoy hard combat arcade games or zx spectrum era games, check this

A actually pretty fun game when you dont have much time. It feels like I could find it in a arcade cabinet. I dont think the tutorial tells you that you can strafe using space though.

## Night of the Blood Moon

I got the game on the Halloween sale for 79 cents, and since it was sitting in my wishlist for a while i thought i'd finally buy it. Absolutely not disappointed. The design and graphics are simple but really good, the gameplay is smooth, controls are easy to get used to, the game provides a fair difficulty and my god, the music. I personally put a lot of value in a good soundtrack and notBM did anything but let me down on that one. Real banger. Bit disappointed the soundtrack from the trailer isnt in, or i missed it, though i've finished the game before, but either way the game is definitely worth it and fully recommend buying it.

### Review:

Tight twinstick frenetic action roguelite that reminds me of games like Enter the Gungeon and Binding of Isaac. Easily recommended!

This game has solid and precise mouse/keyboard controls, a catchy soundtrack, uniformly beautiful pixel art and animation, and most of all, a fun game loop.

You're basically a psychotic road runner that invades dreams and beats up cute and adorable stuff, which you accomplish with your fists or with one of a few different ranged weapons including a boomerang, crossbow, hookshot, magical orb, and more.

Dizzee Rascal… That's who I think of when I play this.

The classic, eclectic, UK urban electro music ebbs and throbs relentlessly; commanding attension while you tightly weave through the madcap, claustrophobic arenas of baddies and laser trip wires. BONKERS

It's manic, rude and ...technical, just like that singer.

Drones has a very cool sprite based 3d trickery that is 100% pulled off. That stuff always impresses me.

I'm not amazing at these games at all and the addition of little tips in between levels brings you up to scratch on the best way's to herd enemies into your smart bombs.
