Megaquarium

Megaquarium

Have you ever wanted to run an aquarium? You can build and manage one with Megaquarium!

If you have played any management game before you will already have an idea of what to expect: you make exhibits to let your creativity take over, manage employees, and hopefully turn a profit in the process.

While not particularly innovative, the game manages to hit enough of the right notes to be enjoyable and relaxing, especially if you fancy the idea of running an aquarium.

Fairly Realistic and Lots of Good Fun

This is a well rounded title with lots of room to grow!

Pros:

  • Accurate and realistic modeling. I keep fish as a hobby and although most of the animal husbandry mechanics are significantly simplified they are still more or less pretty accurate. Most of the fish artwork is very accurate. These are not made up fish that don’t actually exist.

  • Simulation and tycoon aspects are well thought out and satisfying. For the most part it feels like success / failures make sense. A grouper ate your anthias because they were small enough to fit in it’s mouth, makes sense!

This game is still new and a little buggy, BUT let me tell you, it’s still absolutely worth it! If you have any problems hop on the Discord, the dev was able to help me out immediately with the one problem I had.

The gameplay itself is fun and addicting! As a lover of simulated life games and anything with genetic based breeding mechanics, this is a game that I see myself playing for hours on end for weeks to come, and I’m really excited to see what’s to come!

This game is really basic, but to be honest its hard to find a fun game that has any kind of breeding in it. I finished unlocking all parts of the map in a day, completing all of the steam achievements gave it another day worth of content.

To be perfectly honest the game is to easy. Its easy to make money, you sell dying fish for big bucks. There is no limit on how many fish you can have in a tank except perhaps the limit of if your computer can keep up, and killing these fish requires a lot of effort even with me turning the temperature up, turning the oxygen down and not even feeding them they somehow lived from egg to adulthood. Different difficulty levels would make the game more challenging, if even basic genetics could be added it would be a dream.

Mermaid Colony

Mermaid Colony

I do like a large part of the game, and didn’t expect much with the price. However, the bugs have made me rage quit. In one map my builder is stuck trying to repair a destroyed building that I removed the ruins of. And in multiple games my huntresses have gotten stuck in one spot. I can get past the lack of direction and restarting multiple times when trying to learn what you need to start with and survive. But with how slow the game pace is, having put multiple hours into a game to have your defense/food support just give up on life and slowly starve to death is annoying and cripples the growing colony. And its very slow, and if you have a healer is slows down killing off the bugged characters even more. Wouldn’t recommend buying until they get rid of the bugs.

I like the game. The graphics are simple but the base building / survival mechanics are solid and winning is very challenging. I wouldn’t recommend it as an introduction to the game genre but if you’re looking for a challenge, I think you’ll have a good time.

Beating the game took me about 8 hours (alternating between normal and 2x speed) but I restarted a few times as I got more comfortable with the mechanics.

*** Fun game that is NOT worth the full price of $15 USD ***

*** ABANDONED EARLY ACCESS GAME ***

Now that I have those disclamers out of the way…This game is a watered down (pun intended) version of Minecraft that takes place under the ocean. The object is to survive below water and reconstruct your submarine to get yourself back to the surface.

This game does offer a sandbox version to it, which has its limit of replayability. You can play this game in 3 modes, adventurer, which is how everyone starts off (allows death and respawning). Survival mode where you have just one life and submarine pieces are harder to locate and sandbox mode which in some part requires you have played a few games in the first 2 modes to be able to play sandbox mode.

After playing SUBNAUTICA for a few hours, I thought I would take another look at FARSKY (again). There are some immediate differences when you if you played SUBNAUTICA first. The simple graphics hit you first - however, for me, that is not a bad thing. It had more of a “minecraft” feel to it, complete with the occasional BGM (something that SUBNAUTICA does not have), and a few of the sound effects of collecting resource and to me has that MC underwater feel.

Again, not a bad thing. The game has a very simple plot (unlike the complex story of SUBNAUTICA), find and fix your sub and get back to the surface to be recued. But don’t let any of this “simple” design fool you. It has the provervial poison of PACMAN “.. I can do it next time” - as your air runs out, or sharks and baracuda’s chase constantly chase you around in their attemp to make a decent meal out of you. And to make matters worse, if you go to far and die, your stuff falls there as well, to be picked up when you revive. If you want to attempt that “spot” again.

Bermuda - Lost Survival

Bermuda - Lost Survival

ZERO CONTENT + EXSTREMELY POOR BUILDING MECHANICS.

This you need to know so the game have about zero bug and “100% Zero Contents Still After 4 Year” so basically this game is not even worth 1 dollar or 1 cent and i gonna explain why.

– I play this game 4 year ago and after one to two hour i was able to build a dock and travel to the content who is " ONLY" two island where one of them only have alien + some plank and stone and the other island have iron who you really don’t need at this game stage but it is nice to take those last few research upgrad if you wanna spend “1 more minute” on this game and at this stage you have play max 4 hour and doing everything who is possible in this game if you persevere because of the lack on the contents and that was 4 years ago.

Real player with 79.5 hrs in game

There is an enjoyable experience to be had, but I would not recommend supporting this project based on the following three points.

“The game leaves Early Access in August 2020.”

“We’re excited to announce Bermuda - Lost Survival is going full release this summer!”

““All gameplay elements and mechanics are in place. We’re currently adding additional sandbox content.”

Now, the above quotes are directly from the developers. None of them are true. We are currently in Autumn 2020, and obviously August has already flown past. They haven’t updated this game in 12 months. Not that I’d normally mind, but there is one key point to be made here. In their own words, all they need to add is sandbox content. A statement that I STRONGLY disagree with, as based on my own personal experience and the opinion of others? This game is not ready.

FISHERY

FISHERY

This could be a very lovely game, I cant recommend it at this point, but I have high hopes this could be getting somewhere.

What I like:

The style is lovely! The fish and plants are stylized to a point to make it look artsy, but you still recognize every species, it is realy beautifully made.

The animations are very cute, the fish chase each other, nibble on plants and decorations, I love it. :)

I like that the fish are breeding and the babys are realy cute.

What I dont like:

I played with one tank for 63 ingame days. In that time I had 3 adult platys and a ton of babys.

I’ve been keeping fish for a long time and it has been my dream to find an, detailed and good fish keeping game. Over the years all the fish keeping games I found were either very old or abandoned. But fishery might finally be the game. It has many things already added so it’s a perfect early access game. It does lack a lot of stuff. But it is still good enough to provide you fun until new updates roll out. Fishery already provides the things you would want in an aquarium game. It already has 18 fish species that are for now mostly freshwater and it has 17 plant species that come in different sizes and variants. There are lots of decoration items that help you create the aquarium you always wanted. There are around 10 substrates. I think they can add more into substrates. Such as different substrates being beneficial for different situations. Or they can just add more substrates or even substrate mixing. One of my favorite features of fishery is the plumbing system. Not only it is unique but the idea of being able to hide all the filtration and heaters an all that stuff is amazing. And lastly something no other game has (At least from what I’ve played.) breeding. So far there is a single gamemode. Sandbox. But a career mode is coming. I would say if you so far like this game consider a few things: First it’s early access so there is a possibility you might not find the content you need. Second the game is slightly more detailed for some people. Third if you love saltwater more there aren’t many fish or plant variants yet.

Life of Ocean

Life of Ocean

what kind of work is this

《life of ocean》is a First-person oceanic adventure survival game.

you will start from a desert island. Alone, without any means to call for help, you must do what you can to survive.

when you dont need to worry about food or clothing, there are countless treasures waiting for you under the ocean.

take the Treasure Map you found, camposs and shovel, become the richest adventurer in this ocean!

#### Survive

Health, Hunger, Thirst, Manage and monitor these vitals to continue your adventure. Grilled fish, fresh water, and Edible fruit to stay alive.

fresh water will be the most important resources, because fresh water is the medium of payment with NPC in this world.

#### Crafe Tools

Axe, Pickaxe, Spear, Torch, cutlass, firegun and so much more can all be crafted through an interactive crafting menu.

Ships are the main means of transportation in this game. Players can use ships to transport goods and explore travel.

Dynamic Weather System

This game has a basic day and night cycle, rainy weather, sunny weather, it will extinguish the equipment that uses fire to work on rainy day, such as campfire, barbecues, furnaces, etc.

We will add more weather season systems to the game in the future, such as dry season, wet season, etc.

Interesting treasure mining system

Digging treasures will make the player’s adventures easy and interesting. Before you set off, you need to prepare three items, the treasure map you found, a compass and a shovel.

After digging out the treasure, the player will encounter the skeleton or demon spirit . Beat them will get the key to open the treasure chest.

The rewards of treasure chests are random, also players can choose to sell the treasure directly to NPC for stable rewards.

Future update direction

The current version is enough for you to explore more than ten hours, but many details need to be polished. We will add more plants and animal to enrich the game.

And also enrich the vehicle system, add ghost ships, giant sea monsters and other contendable enemies to create exciting sea navigation.

It’s a very fun game for the first few hours. You unlock the other races, try new weapons, and kill the bosses. Unfortunately the amount of content is limited. Only four bosses (that I have seen), five races (which is a pretty decent amount to be fair), and around 10ish weapons. The game gets old quick and needs more variety. The four bosses are always in the same order and have an annoying unskippable intro where they usually appear out of the ground. The bosses are fun first time round, but I feel maybe a few more in the mix would improve the replayability aspect or the game. Also the third boss fight drags on a bit too long in my opinion, and his regeneration makes killing him take awhile. This game is a work in progress though and the developer seems to update the game every few weeks so It’s safe to say more content is coming soon.

The AI in this game makes me feel like every single basic enemy is the shittiest 12 year old in COD. They have no interest in killing you, only in being a net negative in progression. They will space you out litteraly forever, but not let you leave because they will rush you down the second you turn away. Every fight is agony. The bosses are the easiest enemies in the game, because they behave in a way that makes sense with the tool,s you get as a player. Everything about the game is cool, save for the AI, which makes me fucking hate this game. Difficulty is not giving the enemies instant reaction times, the ability to negate ranged combat with melee weapons, charge at you from off-screen, and work together to deny you resources. Imagine if in BOTW the moment any enemy hit half health ran away from you at top speed, and handed its loot to someone else, dying in the process. That is the AI in this game. The best build is 1 spike on your head, with greasers everywhere else. It’s the only shit they cannot space you out from.

Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire 2 - Collector’s Edition

Yes, but it has a flaw. it will turn over more than one card when you click on the deck, Many of the cards needed are buried because of this. However, the game does offer various forms of Solitaire and Mahjong.

Real player with 102.7 hrs in game

As with all the other Jewel Match Solitaire games it was very well done. I liked the new additions with the challenge levels and have completed the entire game and levels.

As a long time player I liked that it was familiar but new and interesting.

The only negative I really have is that even with updating etc. the bought all store items achievement is not for whatever reason unlocking for me both in game and steam achievements. I have bought all the items including a joker and a random card and still no go. It is the only one that I do not have currently having finished the game in it’s entirety.
