Ohhh this games takes me back to the time of Motherload. (the flash version, not the steam version)

I just love the ambiance and the music is very good!

Every time you go down it is the question of will I be back before my fuel runs out? Every dive is a hunt for riches that you don’t want to interrupt to get fuel, but you have to. And in time as well because else your haul will be lost forever!

Upgrading this makes it easier to get huge hauls. Content wise I think the price is a bit steep but the game is very fun to play nontheless.

From the west, the Allies are approaching, and from the east, the Soviet anthem is screamed by hundreds of Soviet throats. The War seems to be over. None of the soldiers remembers the taste of victory anymore, the commanders only give orders to retreat. Chaos and fear dominate the front lines.

Hope? Nobody thinks about it anymore. The General Staff begins to split, for many the fate of the War is already sealed. The last bastion that can give a shadow of a chance and reverse the fate of the War in favor of the Germans is a secret base hidden deep in the mountains that you must manage. Each of the German commanders who are still fighting on the front lines has been ordered to hold their positions and fight to the end to give you as much time as possible to prepare your weapons of ultimate destruction. Welcome to the Project Wunderwaffe management game in which the fate of World War II depends on you.

Building the base

Your adventure in Project Wunderwaffe will start with the construction of a network of underground corridors and rooms. At the beginning, take care of the efficient operations of the base and access to electricity, water and clean air. In the next stage, focus on the elements of the base that will enable you to carry out your task. For this purpose, you will be able to build laboratories, an operations center, spy centers, test rooms, shooting ranges and many different facilities. Extend your base long and wide, build a self-sufficient huge underground complex that can become a real fortress. Remember to use the available space wisely. Building a chemical weapons room next to the shooting range may not be the best solution.

Creating Project Wunderwaffe

The main objective in the game is to build a weapon that is so powerful that it will turn the tide of victory in your favor. For this purpose, it will be necessary to expand the underground base. When you are underground, your options are limited. Create intel teams that will acquire the necessary materials for you to complete the project. Recruit the best scientists into your ranks, send out spies and agents who will be able to provide you with secret enemy projects and crucial information. In Project Wunderwaffe, you will have an opportunity to create weapons that the world has not heard of yet. Will it be a laser firing from orbit around the Earth, invisible land, sea and air vehicles, or perhaps a projectile piercing any armor? Find out all of these in Project Wunderwaffe. You will have an extremely wide range of possibilities to create weapons of ultimate victory. The invention of the nuclear bomb will be just a small percentage of what you can do in your laboratories - let your every invention leave havoc.

Development of the military base

Building a superweapon will require you to efficiently manage the base, acquire and allocate resources. Don’t forget that the German army continues to repel the attacks of the Allies and Soviets. Support them to get more time to work on the superweapon. There are many possibilities to achieve that. You can create for them improved weapons, modified ammunition or unique armor that will allow the German army to charge the enemy. Pay close attention to the map of warfare in real-time. If you see the enemies taking the upper hand on the front lines, support the German army with your latest projects and technology that you’ve invented. Every decision matters in the game world and every choice you make has its consequences.

Defending the base

Even though your base is well hidden deep underground, the Allies and Soviet spies always pose a threat. You are exposed to many perils from outside and inside, therefore, be ready for everything. The intel of your enemies will not wait idly - the Allies and Soviets will do anything to find and destroy your base.

Enemy spies and attempts to bribe your officers will be just some of the challenges you will have to face. Make sure that the German propaganda works at its best and spreads fear about the possibilities of the superweapon you are working on. Time is not your ally. The more fear you sow in the ranks of the enemy, the more time you will have to complete the project. When an air raid alarm sounds in your base, fear, panic and a ruthless fight for survival will begin. Your role will be to control the situation and bring back the base to full operational capability as soon as possible. Remember that you are not safe. Your enemy is waiting for your mistake. Everything is in your hands.

Sandmason

Sandmason

Sandmason is a simple but effective FPS puzzle adventure, about diggin caves, building bridges, ramps, or any possible form to avoid danger and reach our path to the exit.

We are given a Mining tool, used mainly to storage sand, and deploy it in the form or bridges,

pillars, walls, ramps, or anything needed to overcome the levels.

It also has a force field function to build platforms.

Flares are unlimited, very useful for those dark zones where our eyes cant reach.

Theres a Skill points system that allow us to modify both character and mining tool stats.

Real player with 24.4 hrs in game

Nice indie game that’s a creative mix of the FPS and puzzle genres where you complete cave levels by modifying and interacting with your environment. There’s even a bit of RPG style character building mixed in in the form of skill points that you can use to boost your abilities after completing levels, but the main focus of the single player mode is on solving puzzles.

The game rewards creative thinking and patience in exploring your surroundings, and there are plenty of hidden areas and bonus items to uncover. It also doesn’t hold your hand too much, which is great for people who like a challenge. The tutorial levels show you the basics and you get the occasional tips and pointers, but the game doesn’t give anything away for free so to say.

Short version: Oh my, this is challenging and fun. I definitely like it more than I expected to!

Long version:

Deceptively simple at first then gets increasingly more difficult as you progress.

I don’t usually enjoy games that don’t have you working towards a specific, set goal, but this one makes it work by having “unlockables” to strive for, different levels with different challenges to them, and a cash incentive to go along with your score, so if you want to stay afloat, you’d be better off catering to all the possible exits/entrances/lines, which makes it challenging. Plus, while it never flat out FORCES YOU to, it’s implied that your “goal” is to serve all possible lines and entrances/exits.

This is exactly the kind of game I’m wired to enjoy; route-planning, optimization, and a small sprinkling of tedium. For the first 10 to 15 hours with the game I very much did enjoy it but as some of the issues became really obvious it led me to the conclusion that I cannot give a recommendation to this game in its current form.

My first issue is with the amount of content available in the game. As new NPC types are unlocked and develop new needs you will have some difficulty keeping up with it all, but that suddenly drops off after a couple hours of play leaving you with nothing much to do but optimize your network and build out the last couple stations that unlock later. There really needs to be more variety in NPC needs to flush out that mid to late-game. Perhaps more late-game shop types or new transportation methods, but it needs something. As it is there are 4 hours of laying the foundation for your system and expanding, 2 hours of optimizing, then an hour of doing nothing but watching your system operate until you decide to start a new map.

This game shows a lot of promise and i’ll be keeping a very close eye on it.

I’m recommending this game as a show of support for a game I wish to see finished however It isn’t exactly in a playable state currently due to bugs and possible balance issue (that or i just suck not sure yet lol).

The depth of the crafting with all the different qualities and material types really is something i’m looking forward to seeing when the game is more complete.

Grind: Skateboarding

Grind: Skateboarding

A perfect blend between Tony Hawks Pro Skater controls, and realism.

A good break from Skater XL or Session if the Sim experience is getting monotonous.

Has needed animation work and sound design, but for what it is in its current state, it has so much potential to bring a good arcade skate game to the store.

I am really exited to see future improvements of this game and feel like it has enormous potential.

Easy to implement improvements that I feel could benefit the game massively include:

-Text at the bottom corner of the screen, which shows up after landing a trick, stating the name of trick you just landed.

-More detailed guide to the controls.

-Some sort of text which indicates which stance your currently riding (regular, switch, fakie or nollie).

-A way to choose weather your skater is goofy or regular (setting the default to regular so it doesn’t confuse people who aren’t familiar with skating).

Mercury Fallen

Mercury Fallen

This is a fun little game in early development. Start by awakening in a small ruins underground on an alien planet. Dig out rooms and gather resources to build the base that was supposed to be awaiting you, but something went wrong. But you do get a few friends to help and a little spidery robot. More survivors and robots can be found burried outside your base. The only food at this time is potatoes, that can be made into mashed potatoes (This must be heaven for the Irish), but more crops and items are planned. Water pipes and electrical is not very intuitive, but a little trial and error will teach you all you need to know. After a game week you will have all the tech tree filled and have built all there is to build, but with an elevator to the surface and more content planned, this game has a ton of potential. This game is hours of fun, but not days of fun. Only buy now if you are willing to get it cheap and wait for more content to follow. I had 2 crashes and a bug where a survivor became stuck until I reloaded. Compared to other early releases this is pretty minor. As more content is added I am sure most people will find this very enjoyable. I recommend this game.

Real player with 1003.3 hrs in game

The game is in the early stage of EA which means it is not a full game yet and bugs, crashes and lag can happen.

That said, in the 30+ hours i played, the game has crashed once and never had any lag issues even on the highest possible settings.

So is there anything to do already?

For the stage MF is in yes.

It has the basic items to build your base and with research you can add new rooms, equipement and other options.

You can refine the raw materials from mining and farming and use those to make building materials, food, bots or refine them into next tier materials. Besides the production of bots you can also clone colonists.

After finishing the whole game, despite of my strong objections that I’ve written about in my original review (below), I’ve decided to change my review into thumbs up.

It took me some time to analyze my thoughts, and while I still have strong objections about inconsistency of various gameplay mechanics, the game truly has a charm, is well done and doesn’t deserve negative review, even if as a programmer purely analyzing the consistency of the gameplay I’d rate it negatively without a second thought.

Real player with 30.3 hrs in game

Let me start off by saying that I actually really enjoyed playing the game. The challenges are fun to solve and while they generally were not very difficult, I often found myself going back to old exercises and solving them in different ways.

Nevertheless, with the current state of the game, I cannot recommend it since there are just too many flaws that I cannot overlook even for an early access title.

Many of these are easily fixable, which is why I will go over the major problems one by one so that the developer(s) can consider my feedback.
