Variables 2
V2 is a top tier tower defense game. The flow is that you start with a couple of 3x3 grids and elevator and a random raised 5 piece block. Arrange those and put your core at one end and the creep gate at the other. Place your choice of tower and then after each round you get more basic tower options. After a set number of waves you must place an additional creep gate. The gates are movable, but the core and towers are not. On advanced levels you can trade in 2 or 3 specific base towers for an advanced tower that should help you progress. Mods are random and can transform the right tower into a beast.

Castle
The game is really seemed cool and fun but that idea left quite quickly…
The graphics are fair at best, very cartoony so it has that going for it.
The background images are decently done and fits nicely with the rest of the game.
a Few playable levels, The game has some achievements and they arent too hard to complete given the type of game, it is tagged difficult but it really isn’t, it lacks QOL features and gameplay mechanics with finer tweaks , if some more effort went into the game it would of been a lot better and more fun. Don’t get me wrong the game has a difficulty cure but it would of been much more fun to climb it if the game was somewhat better than what it is.

I found this game to be pleasantly surprising. At the very worst it could have been too flash game like, which I was afraid of (even though there are some amazing flash games out there).
Graphics: Actually quite nice, crisp and clean, cartoony, with a almost angrybirdsy-like feel. Bright but not blindly so.
I think I like the chicken graphics the best. yeah.
Achievements: Pretty straightforward, and based on the level designs, some can be hard to get - but nothing that is crazy insane intense.

Rento Fortune VR
The game is great but it has 1-2 minor glitches.
I like how it moves you in jail (literally), but you can walk oof of it.
Overall the game is great, even in Early Access. I recommend it

A few control issues with building up housing banks, and jumping around on teleport can be difficult. A center reset wouldn’t be difficult, and would solve the issue.
Not an all in VR port, everything is done with clicks. That’ll disapoint the purists, but keeps it simple for those that can’t get to grips with the complexity of Table Top Sim’s controls.
The game is nicely scaled, big bright board. A good selection of custome options, and has full multiplayer cross platform play with mobile devices leaving you with no shortage of games.

Let Them Trade
Let Them Trade is a minimalistic trading simulation in which you build a network of towns. What’s particularly special about that is that this network is only used by AI-controlled merchants! So it is in your best interest to keep up the towns' supply and demand of their resources, and pocket a big part of the traders' coin - via tolls!
Note: Let Them Trade and its Steam page are still in an early alpha state. Everything is subject to change. Wishlist the game and press the follow button to stay informed about future updates! Also, feel free to follow us on our various social media channels! :)
Explore the World!
What riches does nature have on offer for you? Where are the strategically best places for your cities? Explore a world rich with many different resources and choose the best ones to kickstart your economy!
Build Your Network!
Build trade routes between cities, overcome natural obstacles such as wild waters and soaring mountains, and be on the lookout for evil bandits. Only with wit and ingenuity, you will be able to build a trading network that maximizes your merchants' profits - and, in turn, your wealth!
Let them Trade!
Interact with a multitude of trader characters! Each with their own personality, their own field of expertise and of course their own preferences on where to spend their money. Butter them up and make their life as easy as possible:
-
Fend off bandits by hiring knights in shiny armors
-
Optimize trade routes so they pass by their favorite resources
-
Adjust tolls to make them happy - no one likes tolls! Don’t feed the toll! Just make sure that you don’t come away empty-handed!
State Of Development
We just finished the prototype. Now we’re searching for a publisher!

Aeon’s End
If you want to try out Aeons End, or really prefer to play games digitally, it’s pretty good but brief. If you have all the physical base sets, expansions, and so forth, I don’t think you’ll be getting rid of them anytime soon for this (unlike, say, how Sentinels of the Multiverse is so good on digital that I’ll never play the physical edition again).
I won’t comment on game play and such, but there’s a decent tutorial that goes over most concepts (while letting players discover the synergies of the game themselves). There’s also currently no multiplayer for those who demand it (I suspect it’s in the works though), nor AI players either; one player controls all the mages' actions (although you could potentially do “pass and play” gaming). It’s a non-issue to me, but a determining factor for others.

My Biases: I backed this on kickstarter not because I have played the physical game but because I really like the developer and the game seemed to be very fun if their streams were any indication. I really enjoy the game from what I have done so far.
Aeon’s end is a cooperative deck builder game where up to 4 mages try to beat back monsters that seek to destroy humanity. The game is an uphill battle but certainly winnable. There are many ways to approach the battles and lots of variability depending on the mages and supply cards you use.

Rento Fortune: Online Dice Board Game (大富翁)
If any of you ever searched for a Monopoly like boardgame on Steam (or elsewhere) that you can pick up quick and play a fast game, without account registration or reward system that let you only play if you have enough coins in your account, you can’t find any untill today.
Rento fortune fills that gap for me in my gaming library and I’m glad I bought the game.
I was sceptical at first. The developer don’t have any other games on Steam and at first sight it looks very casual/mobile/tablet to me. But it offers exactly a well done Monopoly like game with the rules as you are used to or with new rules you can choose at setup.

Rento Fortune
Bought this one because I was looking for a “Monopoly-like” game. First I was very sceptical, but it turned out to be a great game.
Even though I probably have the worst RNG on this planet, I still had a lot of fun times.
Recommend to play this with your friends and hang out in Teamspeak, just for the tortune when the RNG-god strikes again.
Positive aspects I found in my playthrough so far:
- Map decision: There is not only one board. You can choose from a ton of boards with a different land order.

Star Realms
I used to really enjoy the online version of this game. Saddly that is no longer true. While I would HIGHLY reccomend this game for the Campaign Mode, the Online Mode is another matter ENTIRELY!!!! Once you reach level 5, you must win a number of sucsessfull wins to advance onwords, but each loss counts you backwords on that total. THIS, is not a problem. THE PROBLEM, is that many players have found a way to “HACK” either the timeclock, or the game itself! I have found myself ready to acquire a good card, only to have my game freeze. Then reload. Not only do I lose precious time during this reloaded “Glitch”. But often it will undo my card purchases or even worse, my bases will be destroyed or my health slashed in half. All of which being impossible with the card’s the opponet had availible to play. Now, I KNOW I’m not the best player. I admit that freely. But after almost 500 games, I STILL CAN’T GET EVEN HALFWAY THROUGH TO LEVEL 7! This means With the losses counting against me, I have only managed to go up 1 LEVEL in almost 500 games!!!

I’ve enjoyed Star Realms for many year. It is an entertaining deckbuilder game, which is easy to learn. A huge number of cards have been added to this game over the years, and the core sets (5€) are definitely worth the value, while a lot of the smaller dlc (2-4€) is a bit pricey. Although skill does play a part in winning, I would definitely say that a large part of winning comes down to the luck of the draw. And the expansions increase the luck factor quite a bit. I would still say that it is quite enjoyable, and I take it as a challenge, when my opponent start out quite a bit better off than me. Sadly I will not be giving this game my recommendation, based on the recent addition to this game, in the form of Star Realms Arena, which is a particular nasty way of introducing gambling into a kid friendly game.
