SpaceBlocc

SpaceBlocc

SpaceBlocc is a colorful minimalistic spaceship building game. A mysterious world you have to escape before it destroys you.

BUILD YOUR SHIP

Choose among 7 different parts to build your ship. By correctly managing your weight, thrust, and energy available you will be able to travel a different speeds. Slow and fast both have their advantages and disadvantages. Too slow and you will get destroyed by asteroid rains. Too fast and you won’t have time to destroy obstacles before colliding with them.

UNLOCK NEW PARTS

You start with only the minimum. Unlock new parts as you progress through the game. These parts are required to advance to next levels, and obviously will make your ship stronger.

RESCUE LOST ASTRONAUTS

Rescue astronauts that were a bit too bold. Some are just out there ready to be picked up. Some decided it would be fun to have to be rescued in more dangerous areas.

Faraway Islands

Faraway Islands

Good 2D survival/crafting game.Controls well and has good mechanics.Fun to play.Main thing missing is content.Maybe some kind of back story as well as current story and things that hamper surviving would make it better. Things like animals or some mobs that you have to fight/avoid or just watch out for would add a lot. This could lead to more reason to have variety of weapons and a leveling up of weapons. This really is a fun game in early access which I totallly forgot to mention….untill now.Price is not very much at all now……with proper good additions current price will be a steal. Developers seem nice and are wanting feeedback to help advance their game…..which is usely a good sign for a early access game in my experience. So overall I am not a professional game reviewer but I do know if I like playing a game or not and a few things I personaly would like to see in a game…….so I like playing Faraway Islands and recommend it to all types of gamers………I see it getting better with a little love.

I Love this game and I want to see it get updated again I’m very happy with the development of the game the only problem I had was that I had put time into 2 different islands and that progress broke and I had to start from scratch. Otherwise a great game and I do recommend

Goblin Takes No Argument[s]

Goblin Takes No Argument[s]

Goblin Takes No Argument ~~was a school project in pygame we made in 2019. We picked it up again in 2020, and thought it could be fun to try and get it on steam.

Features of the game

  • Place towers to destroy the goblins

  • Upgrade towers to get even more powerful

  • Sell towers to place even better towers

  • Different types of goblins to make the game a little harder

Controls

  • Press ‘R’ on the keyboard to toggle visibillity of the towers range

  • Right click on the mouse to sell towers at half the price

  • Left click existing towers to upgrade - An upgrade is successful if the range indicator turns orange it cost twice as much as the base price of the towers~~

DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review

U.F.O. K.O. Tower Defense is a game developed and published by Pixel General LLC

The game offers some nice graphics, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same

An interesting Tower Defense title that will keep you on you toes - it is not easy.

It’s all about timing - when to call the next wave (you will need that extra $5, particularly in the early waves when cash is short) and when to use the airstrikes and satellite beam. The variety and varying speed of enemies will also keep you focused.

At this stage the title does not have all the bells and whistles - I would like see to damage stat’s for the towers and upgrades, a start button at the start of new levels and an indication of the type of enemies in the next wave.

Fun, challenging levels, the tower build queue is an amazing idea that I hope other games use in the future.

I do feel like many levels can be beaten easily by rushing the enemy spawner, but its up to you when you do this. I just wish the game made it harder, or more punishing to go for this early on.

Not your normal “generic” Tower Defense title - I like the way it challenges you beyond the norm (won’t spoil it!!)

Was initially put off by the lack of reviews, but was encouraged by the number of updates. Glad I took the chance.

Game forces you to carefully consider your priorities. Looking forward to progressing.

Dragon Drop: Tabletop Multi-tool

It’s a solid product. Could definitely use a variety update, but it works perfectly as intended and is very visually appealing

For what it is, I would recommend this item. Everything is basic, but if you wanna run a game on a budget this is probably your better option. Only issues so far is that items are all tied to mouse click. So if you want to select something you are gonna move it as well. Only other thing is if you accidently make more maps, you can’t delete them. At least from what I have tried.

Feudal Baron: King’s Land

Feudal Baron: King’s Land

The king has granted you the right to oversee a medieval city and the surrounding lands. This is not only a great privilege, but also a demanding task. You begin with only a handful of citizens, a modest settlement, and your task will be to gather the resources necessary to grow your city and design its layout wisely, and ensure that your subjects are satisfied with your rule.

Gold is a resource that makes progress possible. Take advantage of your vassals and create a profitable tax system, because not only do you need it to develop your city, but you also must satisfy the needs of the royal treasury, after all, your king is your liege. Use various buildings to utilise collected materials, craft tools, weapons and armour and sell them to the merchants.

Defending the land against the enemies of the realm is also one of your tasks. Prepare the city for the attacks of foreign invaders, collect goods to survive the siege and garrison the fortifications. If the defences fail, your settlement can be sacked, citizens killed and buildings burned down.

Medieval times are not easy for the rulers, you will face all sorts of calamities like fires, plague outbreaks or rebellions of discontented citizens.

The team at Indie Imprint got me a copy to review on stream and it turned out to be a blast! Had a great time playing the game. We played for three hours and managed to win the game, not once, but twice AND got lucky enough to see both winning endings. An indie game with multiple endings, plenty of challenge and entertainment value. It was cool trying to beat my time to completion once i figured out how to win. At the same time, I also lost the game in some pretty entertaining ways. So, even when you lose, the game still offers a lof of fun. Definitely enjoy it, and you will too! :)

A really entertaining little game with excellent graphics, sound track and playability. The value is well beyond the price. I look forward to this growing into a larger, more complex game in the future (probably when Elon Musk gets to Mars), but for now its oodles of fun.

btw the devs posted it as requiring Windows 10 minimum, but I find it works dandy on Windows 7.

Reassembly

Reassembly

Alrrrrrright, Reassembly. I seriously think this is my favorite video game of all time.

What is so great about it?

  • The concept of the engineering design process is the core idea of the game.

You build and control a ship, you quickly find out it’s bad, and you improve it until it is both unbeatable and unbearable, and it is the greatest feeling in the world.

  • Then you realize that tournaments exist, and you are introduced to a whole new way of designing ships. Your ships are so powerful now that (vanilla) campaign mode is simply too easy. However, you will find out that your ships are far from up to par in the tournament scene, and you must improve to be competitive. And, of course, you do. You improve a lot. you can no longer design ships that you can play well; you must now design ships the questionable Reassembly AI can play well. You participate in tournaments to find out who is the best at coming up with interesting new strategies, who is the best at actually executing those strategies, who is, well, the best. And you have loads of fun along the way. i mean, you could also find a way to make your ship glitch out of the tournament arena, making everyone die inside, but that’s a topic for a future discussion.

I usually never write reviews, but, Reassembly is one of the few games I give a hugely positive review on.

While sandbox-style of games may not fit and or belong to everyone, to people who do enjoy taking the time to build (And fly), this game is amazing.

The game by itself is good, as you can either play the slow expansion way as your faction’s control grows, or you can play the agent-hunter and wormhole way, racking up credits at break-light speeds. All the factions themselves have their own uniqueness. As playing every faction the same way will never work.
