Dreamstones
I recommend Dreamstones on sale to fans of brickbuster games or someone looking for a unique mostly chill game. It is a unique cartoonish brick busting RPG with city builder elements and a lighthearted text narrative driven story, which I completed in ~20 hours. Here is what you need to know:
+Game is mostly chill with its vibe & music when you are not focused on the last stage of a level trying to get the last few required blocks (nightmare cubes)
+As a brick buster, over time there are lots of active and passive abilities that modify stats or cause certain things to happen. It seems the different types of powerup capsules have an equivalent active ability can be earned or unlocked.

Dreamstones is an interesting take on the genre of brick-breaking games, combining both the “usual Arkanoid gameplay” with RPG elements, that is well done in some ways but also sadly has a considerable number of issues, mainly regarding level design and game design.
The game is fun and manages quite well to combine RPG and brick-breaking elements where you deal with a lot of different bricks, monsters, equip weapons, use skills, level up and a lot more. So far, so good - the game does that much well. The soundtrack is also well done (albeit a bit repetitive) and the game’s graphics are very well done. Also, the game is pretty long (I got 25h total for 100% completion), with new block types and enemies showing up as the game progresses, with a boss battle at the end of each area.

Fun little game. i like how it is based off the book. would like more levels and more control over the blocks or a way to generate more res. and more trap options. perhaps target settings on the creatures. as i said a good little game took me about 5 hours to clear the story and start to clear the hardmode.

Diggles: The Myth of Fenris
Very surprised Diggles/Wiggles has appeared on Steam, but VERY happy it did!
This is an unique game; nothing really compares to it then (20 years ago), and since then no game has been published (to my knowledge) that comes even close to it. So i almost immediatly bought it (again).
Didnt play Wiggles for years as the original sadly wasnt compatible with ‘newer’ Windows-version. (Could play the official Demo a bit longer though.)
Although graphics is a bit outdated and gameplay is quite slow, the game concept is so good, it was and still is the best game i ever played.

WTF!?! Who’s feet do I have to kiss for finally bringing this game to Steam!! If you ever played and enjoyed, Oxygen not Included, and the new early access game, Hammerington, then you will like this game as well. I even purchased those aforementioned games in the hopes to fill the hole this game left in me decades ago. While a bit dated on graphics (released in 2002), the game still has its same charm and is still very playable. By the end of the game, your dwarves will be riding around on hover boards, and brandishing light sabers. How can you go wrong with that? Thank you

Deep Despair 2
A game with good atmosphere, a nice amount of content, a surprising amount of horror elements, and all at a good price. Its a good game.
After looking at the reviews of the first Deep Despair, it appears that in this installment, every issue and problem people had with the first game has been fixed, along with improvements to every aspect of the game. Also I like how the deeper you go, the more monster types appear

I want to like this, but I’ve already had a game breaking bug. I equipped a torch for the first time, went down a ladder for the first time and that was all she wrote. I got the “Mines” text and the game hung permanently. I tabbed out and closed it, reloaded and the “Loading world” screen hung indefinitely. SO that world is broken, and is now useless. We’ll see what happens in the next .8 hours before I have to make a refund decision :(
Update:
New world made and attempted to recreate the issue. The game DOES take a long time to load mines, so don’t think it will be an instant transition when you go down the ladder. This time it finished loading and the game did not freeze. I tried leaving and re-entering several times and with the exception of less loading time, there was no change and it worked fine. I DID go back to the original world and let it load for a half hour but it remains broken and unusable. Second world seems to be behaving as desired so far.

I absolutely love this game. I find it very relaxing. Well, maybe not relaxing… as it also gives me anxiety. Let me explain: this game lights up every single one of my OCD receptors. Straighten up a room? Yes, please! Pick up all the trash? Ding, ding, ding! Remove/fix problems? Now we’re cooking with gas! Pick up all the “whatever” of that specific group? Bingo! Yahtzee! We’ve got a winner!
And then the anxiety sinks in: I am way too excited about this. This is giving me waaaaaay too much joy. I may need to find a therapist. This can’t be normal.
