Really cool - suits me down to the ground. I had never played this (or even really heard about it back when it was released) so it was a new experience entirely.

Battles are simple - you give your troops a placement, a formation and advance/hold orders. When battle begins, you have no direct control over your units, in what the manual describes as an accurate depiction of a large-scale battle where commanders could not adequately give orders in the heat of the fray. When setting up your regiments, however, you do have to take into account the terrain your soldiers will be fighting on, and it’s necessary to refer to the included manual on this.

If you like this type of game, it is still fun to play.

Yes 8 hours is not much as yet. However i have played SPARTAN on retail version many hundreds of hours.

LEGION is what I expected it to be, similar to SPARTAN in gameplay, interface, and visuals. I has less depth than SPARTAN, as the latter has a more elaborate diplomacy, more and different types of resources, a trade option and a tech tree.

Buy it on sale though, scenarios are limited and there is no grand campaign feature to conquer the ancient world.

I love this game! For being made by 1 person It beats a lot of AAA games in creativity. I would really like to see more games like this in the future and I will be following the game’s development closely!

I pirated this game from Google, but after playing it for a while I decided to just buy the game to support the developer bcs this game is just super fun, after just 40 hours of playing this game I can say I love it the designing of the hull and turret is simple but is still fun, I’ve already made about 20 tanks just from WW1, the only problem with this game is that it’s empty and lacking a lot of other features that I would like in the game, I understand that it’s only made by one person so I can wait for as long as possible so that he can improve this game a lot, so I’ma just list the problems I have with the game:

From the west, the Allies are approaching, and from the east, the Soviet anthem is screamed by hundreds of Soviet throats. The War seems to be over. None of the soldiers remembers the taste of victory anymore, the commanders only give orders to retreat. Chaos and fear dominate the front lines.

Hope? Nobody thinks about it anymore. The General Staff begins to split, for many the fate of the War is already sealed. The last bastion that can give a shadow of a chance and reverse the fate of the War in favor of the Germans is a secret base hidden deep in the mountains that you must manage. Each of the German commanders who are still fighting on the front lines has been ordered to hold their positions and fight to the end to give you as much time as possible to prepare your weapons of ultimate destruction. Welcome to the Project Wunderwaffe management game in which the fate of World War II depends on you.

Building the base

Your adventure in Project Wunderwaffe will start with the construction of a network of underground corridors and rooms. At the beginning, take care of the efficient operations of the base and access to electricity, water and clean air. In the next stage, focus on the elements of the base that will enable you to carry out your task. For this purpose, you will be able to build laboratories, an operations center, spy centers, test rooms, shooting ranges and many different facilities. Extend your base long and wide, build a self-sufficient huge underground complex that can become a real fortress. Remember to use the available space wisely. Building a chemical weapons room next to the shooting range may not be the best solution.

Creating Project Wunderwaffe

The main objective in the game is to build a weapon that is so powerful that it will turn the tide of victory in your favor. For this purpose, it will be necessary to expand the underground base. When you are underground, your options are limited. Create intel teams that will acquire the necessary materials for you to complete the project. Recruit the best scientists into your ranks, send out spies and agents who will be able to provide you with secret enemy projects and crucial information. In Project Wunderwaffe, you will have an opportunity to create weapons that the world has not heard of yet. Will it be a laser firing from orbit around the Earth, invisible land, sea and air vehicles, or perhaps a projectile piercing any armor? Find out all of these in Project Wunderwaffe. You will have an extremely wide range of possibilities to create weapons of ultimate victory. The invention of the nuclear bomb will be just a small percentage of what you can do in your laboratories - let your every invention leave havoc.

Development of the military base

Building a superweapon will require you to efficiently manage the base, acquire and allocate resources. Don’t forget that the German army continues to repel the attacks of the Allies and Soviets. Support them to get more time to work on the superweapon. There are many possibilities to achieve that. You can create for them improved weapons, modified ammunition or unique armor that will allow the German army to charge the enemy. Pay close attention to the map of warfare in real-time. If you see the enemies taking the upper hand on the front lines, support the German army with your latest projects and technology that you’ve invented. Every decision matters in the game world and every choice you make has its consequences.

Defending the base

Even though your base is well hidden deep underground, the Allies and Soviet spies always pose a threat. You are exposed to many perils from outside and inside, therefore, be ready for everything. The intel of your enemies will not wait idly - the Allies and Soviets will do anything to find and destroy your base.

Enemy spies and attempts to bribe your officers will be just some of the challenges you will have to face. Make sure that the German propaganda works at its best and spreads fear about the possibilities of the superweapon you are working on. Time is not your ally. The more fear you sow in the ranks of the enemy, the more time you will have to complete the project. When an air raid alarm sounds in your base, fear, panic and a ruthless fight for survival will begin. Your role will be to control the situation and bring back the base to full operational capability as soon as possible. Remember that you are not safe. Your enemy is waiting for your mistake. Everything is in your hands.

Kingdom Wars: The Plague

Kingdom Wars: The Plague

It seriously needed a extra month or more just making tool tips and basic placements on maps right before EA ,and bear in mind it’s used a massive chunk of a previous game just to start with so it’s not a normal EA from the ground up

The devs say different but it’s pretty similar in play to MKW atm, so if you enjoyed that you’ll like this

Had a full game 30hrs+ and tbh I couldn’t face a replay

the repetition is just too much same units /same maps/ same annoying pre build for resources every single little battle despite the fact the actual battle will only last minutes

The Plague: Kingdom Wars is a very fun game that feels like someone took Medieval 2 TW and Stronghold and smashed them together. It is still early access and in Alpha stage but the potential this game has is staggering.

Gameplay is split between a strategic overworld map similar to TW where you move your armies around, conduct diplomacy and upgrade your various cities and hamlets. Battles switch you to an RTS like system similar again to TW but with the addition of being able to build units, buildings and defences to try and give yourself an edge or tip the balance against your opponent.

最后的夜晚 Babel

最后的夜晚 Babel

I would really love to give this game a good review, but I simply can’t. It is broken, unfinished, and not even completely translated into English.

It is a nice, stylish looking tower defense game, but there is much that either is unexplained, doesn’t seem to work, or both.

For example every gun has options beneath it, that might mean damage, range, health, rate of fire and crit chance, but clicking on them doesn’t seem to do anything. All of those are stats given for each gun, but nothing changes when you click them, even after they seem to have leveled up fifty times.

The game has been translated over from Chinese, there are typos in some places (e.g. after base destruction). You can also see direct Mandarin in some text areas e.g a boss has appeared.

I also have a bug where if i zoom out too much the screen starts to shake i believe only on smaller maps. (May be due to ultrawide monitor 3860x1600)

Otherwise, the game is fun! Reminds me of Yorg.IO.

Great price at less than 10AUD, looking forward to updates.

I really wanted to be able to recommend this game as I did enjoy it, it’s fairly well built in it’s core.

The main issue is lacking content. There is only basic skirmish mode, not story, no setups, no challenges, nothing at all. There is absolutely nothing to work towards. It’s fun to unlock all the technologies but it gets boring quickly as that doesnt take long.

I also had a tremendous amount of trouble trying to get archers positioned on my walls. Constantly getting stuck in annoying ways and not completing the commands. I realize it’s an alpha so thats not that big of a deal.

Hell of Men : Blood Brothers

Hell of Men : Blood Brothers

This game is very interesting.

You will found classic mechanical (collect, build, train) but you found good new mechanicals like vehicles that you can have with the capture of strategic point, a cover system, etc… You can’t go with your army in one pack because one roquet can kill all of them!

It’s a challenge and I really like it. If you like RTS you can go !

Stronghold: Warlords

Stronghold: Warlords

i love this. i want all of your other games to be like this but there are a few things i would like. the fire lances i think is the best unit. put 4 of them into a siege tower and walk it through an army of axe men. i would like to see them in difrent clothing though. they give me some sort of native american vibe with the leather and hair going down to the shoulders. i think they would look good in the bow men uniform or as the guy with the fire grenades. they just dont fit i think with the games look but they are so good i use them all the time. in stronghold crusader 2 there is a unit called the ranger. they have bows as thier main attack but can switch to a sword. in japan there were sameri that used a long bow as thier primary but also had a katana because of how iconic it was. i would like to see a unit that is this games ranger like counterpart. i think if you ised orange sameri armor and gave them the ability to call horses to ride like the templars from crusader, that would be realy cool to see! it would also be accurate to ancient japan warfare.

Warlords system is shit. If you take into account that on some maps you are playing against 3 or more opponents that means that you can be facing up to X times troops count, so if the limit is 150, then the computer can attack with 450 troops. Add the warlords into the mix and that number goes up to 600 or 700 to 150 of your own. It is frustrating to even move out at this point because the computer also reinforces at higher rates. Add the constant saving lags, the crashes after loading saved game and the constant messages from the warlords that keep jumping out at the worst possible moment and you have a game which is far from polished. To the developers at Firefly Studios, if anyone is reading this, consider adding like a timer delay before the AI can retake a warlord via diplomatic points in case of capture by force or a condition that if there are player troops in the keep then diplomatic option should be disabled for other players. For this last one I had troops in the keep, babysitting warlord and the AI claimed him with diplomacy points. I mean WTF.
