Super Blockbreak 3D
unplayable!
the paddle moves inconsistently and way to fast making it near impossible to keep the ball going.
you can flip the map but only to right angles? its 3d i don’t see why a head on point of view isn’t allowed.

The game is really easy to pick up and play (keys E and R to rotate the camera) and is really everything you would expect from a game of this type + a level creator that’s really easy to use. The game holds many of it’s simple innovative features on it’s sleeves, isometric perspective/level creator and 3D levels are all great additions that really set this apart.
The levels are really the best part of this many of them a treat to look at and the key focus of the game (seen as it is the levels you are destroying) I have only unlocked 5 of the 15 levels to unlock, quite a few of the levels are pretty difficult and will take multiple plays to get past but there is satisfaction in defeating that level that has really been giving you difficulty.

Hold The Fort
Won game from Livestream. Completed in 12 hours veteran. Replay is for trying harder modes.
Maps are fairly quick; under 30, pause and no save. The game-play, for me, was staring for a bit at the full tower grid to figure out final configuration, then turn it on. Determining the grid before start is the puzzle tactics piece for me. Then, you have some active tasks to manage during the gameplay, which intensify as the maps and difficulty increase.
The active tasks are a mixed bag. Somewhat blah is the tower maintenance which rewards sacrificing towers to mines for $. It’s there to keep you feeling the pressure. But as with the rest of this fairly casual TD, it can largely be dismissed by pulling screen back to keep the whole field in focus and use of hotkey R. The spells I found fun and would take more of those. So, essentially I set my towers, blew up mobs with spells, then saw if I could keep a single one from getting through. EZ

This game is a nice Tower Defense game. The graphics are the best of maybe any TD game I’ve played at least and that adds to the game a lot. everything is very beautiful.
I haven’t played through the whole game so I cant comment on everything, but I can say that this is a solid tower defense games. If you are a fan of tower defense games check it out. The main creator of the game said he plans to add content for free if I remember correctly, some more levels or enemies and what not would of course be welcome and add to the depth of the game, but its nicely fleshed out right now.

A very unique and atmospheric building game!
The look and feel of the artwork is what sets this game apart. If you were around in the late 80s to early 90s, this will take you back. The screenshots make great backgrounds and screen-savers! Changing the lighting level and color has a dramatic effect on the look of the environment. I would recommend a “Cinematic” mode that removes all text and HUD info from the screen for better screenshots.
It is very early in the development schedule, so there’s not much going on game-wise. There are 10 or so decoration pieces. You can place all the items on the ground level or in the air. So far, there is only one flat panel that you can place, and then place other items on it. More deco will be added.

Hypertrain
i’ll be honest, i really love this game. it’s simple to play, and very challenging. along with the super fast speed given it’s a bullet train simulator.
there are moments where the game can be glitchy, random roads colliding into the road, along with other bugs.
for example some corp trains could block the road invisibly and their locos are fully straight. some roads colliding into walls and hills, but it gives the construction missions a purpose.
the graphics are simple, yet the lighting makes it beautiful, even in a low poly game such as this.

This is a great concept but is too broken, glitchy, and irratating to be fun. I love the idea of cruising at 1000 km/h exchanging goods and passengers between cities or laying and fixing track but this is not what I got. I got a game that thinks dying for no reason is fun. A game that thinks going slow is fun. A game that thinks what I need when driving down a seemingly normal road is corkscrews and loops with breaks in them that are impossible to see. A game that breaks down when driving 1000 for too long. A game that caps your speed at 1000 such that powerups that used to boost your speed now slow you down. A game that…

Scrap Galaxy
The first game from Catalope Games is just as great as it looks.
For starters, it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Fast paced action for 1-4 players as well as lots and lots of fun.
Recommended for anyone who likes party games, geometry wars or just indie games in general.

Cuboid Keeper
Great Indie twin stick shooter, to me has a kind of DOS influence in some aspects which was cool and the game let me play it however I liked. There are some really moreish levels, also feels good when you get your cube set up just right. I feel like the dev put a lot of work into this.

In the vastness of the universe, many things still hold mysteries. You are one of those mysteries, as the guardian of a cube that has floated for eons near the center of the galaxy, rumored to contain knowledge that will allow whoever possesses it the power to rule the universe. It is up to you to protect the cube and the knowledge it holds from all who desire to take it.

The title a challenging 2D, Top-Down, Twin Stick Shooter. With 8 Epic Bosses to fight, along with over 40 enemies from 4 different planets, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Being their first title on steam, they are off to solid start as a developer. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for their career as a developer.

Voltron: Cubes of Olkarion
I first had to learn all the different effects of each cube in the tutorial, but then I won against the easy AI which was rewarding and the explosions are very cool. The local multiplayer mode is also cool. I played with my wife. It’s going to be very sophisticated to win against her, I fear ;)

If you like real-time puzzle games or RTS, chances are you will love this game. Players have to stick cubes to each other that serve as a defense against enemy projectiles as well as launching projectiles on their own. Each single cube is pretty simple - one launches fireballs in a straight line, for example - but they can be combined to manipulate projectile positioning, launch strong combo attacks, reflect enemy attacks and much more.
The game manages to keep a great balance between frantic real-time action and strategic thinking. Even if you’re in a really tough spot, chances are that a few well-chosen moves can get you back on track. Gravity is a thing, and falling cubes break, so if you manage to hit the base of the enemy’s structure, one fireball can let their entire majestic structure collapse. It’s glorious.

King Arthur’s Gold
I’ve decided to delete my old review about this GREAT game, as it was a bit outdated.
If you are confused with these short positive reviews and utter BS negative ones (most of them. I can accept others opinion, but most of them are reviews made by salty kids who didn’t bother to give this game more than an hour before making a review about it) and have stumbled upon this one, hopefully i could make things a bit clearer and help you decide, whether to buy it or not.
This game is very unique, you’ve played nothing like this before, I am absolutely sure in that and can safely guarantee it to you. Great medieval age battles, easy to learn, but hard to master. You can choose from 3 well balanced classes: Knight, Archer and Builder. Basic game modes, which you’ll be playing the most are: Capture The Flag, Take The Halls, Team Death Match and Sandbox. There are also modded servers, where you can literally face ANYTHING, from zero gravity space lazer wars to Zombie survival with modern wargear. Battles are really epic and intense, so you won’t get tired of the game in the near future.

UPD 31.01.2018. Now you cant even complain about useless teammates, since official servers enforced chat censorship. If before you could easily disable chat filter in game’s settings, if you wish so, now - nope, THINK ABOUT CHILDRENS. I wonder, how deep this sjw train will go this time…
UPD 29.09.2017. Now you also can get chat bans on official servers for complaining about useless teammates (which is true for 95% of time). Well done, literally the best possible thing to do, in order to revive this game!

Battle for the Galaxy
The only way that I can reliably play this game is through a Steam account. If you play any other way, if you have to reinstall your web browser, you lose your account and have to start over again from scratch. I have restarted this game 5 times. The other at the end of January 2021, the game reset and I was sent back to the beginning again. I started sending messages through social media and they suddenly repaired the game to where I was before the program change.
This is a free to play game, but you really need to pay for enough gems to purchase the maximum number of Drones, which is about $10. So, I have spent $50 on this game so far.

What have you done to the game dear devs, this VERSION is faster and has a better quality, but the game seems incomplete. It is either buggy or the devs deliberitetly mess up certain aspects of the game. Right now it is better to play it on battleforthegalaxy.com or though facebook. And you can later trasfer the account to steam (not tried it).
Also i could not get any infantry modules on the Operation (you can get access to the Operation by upgrading the HQ to lvl4), i don´t know if that is a bug or the devs trying to make the Operation harder again. How about you make it easier istead, like increasing the time to 3 days instead of 2. I would like to get more sleep. :)
