Flying Things

Flying Things

Flying Things is a first-person builder VR game that will accelerate your creativity!

For thousands of years, the biggest human dream was to fly and feel the birds' freedom. Leonardo da Vinci, George Cayley, or the third Wright brother? Enter our low-poly dreamland and become one of them, creating the best flying machine ever.

To make your plane move, you must move as well! Just pick some levers, reels, and do some pulling and spinning. It sure will do the work, but the question is - how motivated are you to beat your own records?

Acceleration is the key, but well… Without some wings, propellers, and a proper body, the challenge might get harder than you’d like it to be. Luckily, we have a garage filled with all the necessary plane parts (and friendly robots, ready to help whenever you would need them)! Decide which ones do you want to use and assemble them as you like!

Decorate it with colored sprays and additional parts if you want to see your artistic part taking over. To fly with style is to fly high!

Ready? Set? Go! Will you fly to another island? Or will you drown with your masterpiece?

ok this is an honest opinion here mates

the game is far from perfect or complete

several features are still to be added but this is a try of 2 people i guess to make a game so i ll give them some extra time to deliver

other than the negatives the concept is smart and tycoon friends will like the game

especially game dev tycoon lovers

the graphs are in better spot that game dev but there is a lot of room to improve

the AI is ok and the challenge is kinda not bad at all

besides that still the game needs work and at my time in game i really enjoyed the game for the price and i think u should totally get it , especially if u are in the tyccon zone fans like u see myself

well i really want to say i loved this game. on paper it sounds amazing and then you buy it. if this game was in early access i would have been satisfied with my time playing knowing that things were going to get better but it is not early access. meaning this is a full release???? really? are you sure?

in short it feels like you are producing something , anything but not specifically a comic book. there is so much that could have been in this game to make you feel like you were actually creating a hero , a story, a universe but none of those things are here. in short one to watch for the future but with a new game on the horizon for this dev (anime tycoon) i feel we may be left wanting

haunTD

haunTD

Overview & Key Features:

The game of haunted contraptions.

You wake up on an island as a ghost. The land is scattered with ruins from a not-so-long-ago disaster, and the fallout is creating swarms of hostile mutants. This isn’t the afterlife you had envisioned.

Explore the world, defend against a mutating enemy, and discover what brought you back here. In this tower defense game, enemies get stronger with every passing minute, gradually transforming and acquiring abilities and power. Every 3 nights, a new boss will appear. Gather resources & build a strong enough base to defeat all 12 bosses to win. haunTD was designed with new and experienced Tower Defense fans in mind. Clearing the main “levels” in a successful run takes approximately 90 minutes, but like similar games, it will take much longer – between 12-18 hours of gameplay – to fully experience the game including all unlockable towers, outfits, and story pieces. haunTD is currently single-player, but with framework and plans in place for 4-8 cooperative multiplayer in the works.

Gameplay Mechanics:

haunTD is a Tower Defense game at heart, with new mechanics that give a creative and open-ended feeling.

Uncover the story through key artifacts and locations.

Haunt anything you find to unlock new vehicle and tower parts. Defeating enemies gives you more energy & allows you to haunt more powerful tower parts and upgrade modules. Destroying the hardest enemies will give you access to the rarest tower parts.

Haunting is hard work. Start with the basics and work your way up to more powerful contraptions.

Modular tower building: Combine different turret bases, weapons, and effect canisters that you find to create powerful contraptions with unique, synergized effects. Each tower part is unique - some heal you and other towers, some attach bombs to enemies, and the list goes on. Get creative and make whatever baddie-crushing tower you want.

A ghost can go anywhere and haunt anything, after all.

Synergy: Tower parts work together, and so do towers. Build up a base strategically, upgrade, and repel hordes of mutating enemies who gain or lose abilities over time based on the defenses they encounter.

Achieve victory through supernatural tower defense tactics and a bit of luck!

LouveSystems' TrackMasters

LouveSystems' TrackMasters

This game probably takes greater inspiration from Lego Stunt Rally (2000) more than Micro Machines like it says on the store page. Even the pieces look similar. But I’d consider that a positive, the thumbs down is just because it’s a very very low content game right now with no single player offerings unless you count opening an online lobby and playing with bots. The UI is also very abstract as to cause confusion. Everything else is your-mileage-may-vary and probably comes off much better in a party environment that I can’t really test with no one to play it with, like the car physics and narrow roads causing a lot of crazy bumbling.

CYBERUSH

CYBERUSH

I’m not quite sure what to say about ‘CYBERUSH’, it’s a manga style shooter that is very light on just about everything. You get to pick a choice of 3 weapons which are sword, gun and shotgun and you kill enemies with them then goto the lift up to the next level which seems to be a constant rotation of about 5 office style layouts. From its annoying music to the basic graphics this game is as low quality as they come, but the biggest issue is that it doesn’t really have playability to back it up. Even the money I collected in the game seemed to be for nothing. This is certainly not something I would recommend for £7.19, but if some issues get fixed it might be worth a quid or two. https://youtu.be/httvkuexin4

Draw IT!

Draw IT!

Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2

You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/aALb7xq1NHU

So this is a drawing game that has two different modes. The main mode is your physics puzzler where you draw lines or place blocks to guide the ball through the obstacle course. You have an incentive to draw as few lines as possible to reach a higher score for the leaderboards. The second mode is just a sandbox mode where you can draw.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this game because of several issues. One of the biggest issues is the lack of content. There are only 9 levels, which I beat in less than 30 minutes. The second major issue are the poor interactions. You guide the ball through the obstacle course using a virtual joystick that is unwieldy to use. Every interaction in this game is poor and the game just lacks overall polish. It’s also ugly to look at.

Very interesting concept! I would love to see more out of this game going forward. After playing through a few levels, I found the game very relaxing and soothing.
