Grand Casino Tycoon
My intension to get the game was to try a new management simulation game and the idea of planning/constructing a casino with all the entertaining requirements for the guests was the selling point for me. My first interactions with the game weren´t as good as I hoped, because I had some issues starting it on my end and it took me some time to get used to the user interface. After those initials obstacles I was surprised by the gameplay, and it made a lot of fun to build the casino and keep all the guests happy. As the game progresses it gets way harder and with more guest types it also becomes a challenge to keep most of them entertained.

What bothers me the most about this game is if you take your time to get it right. You will never be able to accomplish your goals. You will always be in debt. There are also items that do not seem to attract any players. You lose money, because the object in question is useless, but you absolutely need it to advance in your goals. I believe this game has potential, but it doesn’t feel complete.

Mini Maker: Make A Thing
A hero thing, a monster thing, a robo thing… in Mini Maker, you can make any ‘thing’! Use an arsenal of plastic limbs, wonky tools, rainbow stickers and googly eyes to assemble creations, please demanding clients, and laugh in the face of perfectionism.
Make a thing!
Glue mannequin limbs to robo-parts. Draw on a smiley face. Slap on a few stick-on tattoos to finish it off. Oh, did we mention there’s NO Undo button? Time to roll with the punches!
Make a living!
Fulfill wacky client requests however you can. From six-armed action figures, to fancy meals served from a toilet seat - any request is (unfortunately) possible. Explore their world and defeat your ultimate enemies: perfectionism and good taste.
Fend off haters!
Flying tomatoes, rabid hammers, electrifying eels… Fend off foes in time or ignore them and see what “statement” they leave on your precious thing.
Upgrade your toolbox!
Collect cash for your creations and re-invest it in supplies, tools and workshop upgrades. Expand your inventory or risk ending up making yet another armless Venus de Thingy.
Couch Collab!
Test the limits of your relationships by playing any challenge in 2-player couch co-op mode. Lower your expectations now: you two will be making some butt-ugly things.
Share your creations!
Use the built-in video recorder to share your creations with friends, foes, and the world wide web.

Constructor
What to say about this game? Well, to start with some points here:
The game is a remaster of the original game Constructor launched in 1997, it presents remastered elements as well as the original units sounds presented back there.
There is new things in this version such as new buildings and even a mission mode that will be released in the future, those missions are like in Mob Wars (Street Wars) in where you need to execute specific things in order to win the map.
Although some of the reviews are negative, saying the game has bugs, the multiplayer doesn’t work or something else, the devs team are constantly working in bringing updates and fixes for those things that can break the game.

TL/DR: Splendid remake of an old game, if you liked it then, you will like it now. But some problems from the original remains.
A remake of a classic, old school game.
Some features have been updated to be more digestible, like the UI, graphics are more polished, there is some few additional content, but the game still feels precisely like the old one, and that is a good thing.
So if you enjoyed this game back then, you will likely be delighted to see this new, polished edition.
And there is even full controller support, in a game that frankly did not need one. While playing this game with a gamepad is certainly a step back from the keyboard and mouse, it needs to be said that the devs were industrious enough to provide such a complete support, specially considering there are many games out there that really need controller support and do not have it officially, or have a bad one.Having said that, some problems of the original game remain, and this may even be a good point somewhat, since changing them would require to radically change the nature of the game. But the problems are that you may as well be skipping the construction of many buildings, whose features are not needed to prosper in the game. Actually, they may even be detrimental, in a cost to profit analysis, So some “undesirables” (the in game term for some sort of “agents”) will never be played, unless you really want to see how they act like, while others are superb. And this goes up to the maximum difficulty level, with a full opponent rooster.

Parkasaurus
Okay, so I’m a huge fan of zoo-based park management games, right? I’ve spent a good portion of my childhood pretty much wasting away on them. Zoo Tycoon, Wildlife Park, Jurassic World Genesis, Zoo Empire, you name it. But I’ll be honest, when I first saw Parkasaurus, I really did not think I would enjoy this game all that much. Probably because it’s been so long since we’ve had a really good zoo management game (ZT2 Ultimate Collection is still considered the best by many zoo management fans, myself included, and that was released in ’08, so 10-11 years ago now), coupled with my own initial dislike for the ridiculously huge-eyed goofy art style and the fact that it’s solely focused on dinosaurs. Personally, I just didn’t have high expectations here.

☆The Old(est) Fashioned ‘Zoo Tycoon'☆
Parkasaurus has been on my wishlist for I dont know how long.
Right now, it’s the steam summer sale and I’ve been looking at games to distract me during the long heated summer hours.
I’ve been interested but I never really wanted to put £20 on it, like, it looked fun, but it’s…isometric? …Ehhh….
What I hadn’t realised was that the game is actually full on, low-poly style 3D! It’s not completely isometric art, and I appreciate that so much for a reason I’ll explain down below. I have played 4.5 hours so far, definitely going back for more, and this has let me play through two campaign levels (there’s loads left to do!) and the tutorial level.

Stacks On Stacks (On Stacks)
VS multiplayer block stacking. Drop stuff on the panel to screw each other over as you try to stack the highest stack that had ever stacked. Build your tower and knock over your opponents tower…

This game is ridiculous and wonderful. Plop down those blocks, play a random mini game, buy some fresh swag, and, dare i say, learn what it really means to be a Master Stacker. Looking forward to doing more 2p and arcade modes soon too!

Amelon
I was given this game by the developer to review. This has been the first game that I’ve been given through the Steam Curator Connect that wasn’t one of those awful ‘Get 1,000 achievements’ games. So I decided to give it a shot.
Now, straight off the bat I should say that this is a one man project created by a Polish dev. So you should keep that in mind when you play this game.
Now the story starts off with a short cutscene and some dialogue explaining that bionics have become prevalent and that people want cheaper and cheaper bionics that have caused greater and greater piles of rubbish. Called Sector D.

Interesting gameplay. You can finish the game in about two hours. Some typo’s and the voice acting is a bit lacking.
Multiple endings, though I only tried one.
The rover was annoying but I got through it.
This isnt a game that was created in a few hours and for that and supporting indies i give it a 4/10. Lots of puzzles, pictures, building. Everything is just as you see in the discription. The developer was very up front about what the game is and what its not.

Constructor Plus
I remember playing the original shareware Constructor back on a Windows 98 computer in the late 90’s. There was no music and I sucked at it, but it was still memorable enough that when I stumbled onto Constructor Plus on Steam I knew I had to buy it and play it again.
And hot damn, they did a fantastic job! It perfectly recaptures the original gameplay but modernizes the game itself with improved graphics, music, the ability to alt-tab, achievements, hints, adjustable settings/difficulty, and tons of content. Amazing job!

This is an absolutely perfect remake of the 1997 original aside from these points:
-
Bad support for aspect ratios other then 16:9: either stretched, black borders or windowed mode
-
A couple of very small things that annoy me (like a crying soundeffect if a tenant dies, or a pause added to the hippy select animation that feels disjointed)
But if you can overlook this, played the original constructor or are interested in trying at what I can best describe as a cross-over between simcity and starcraft, give this a try! If you’ve been burned at the rushedness of the HD remake, Plus fixes literally every shortcoming and make sure to look around for the bundle that will give you a proper discount.
