Toy Road Constructor

Toy Road Constructor

Toy Road Constructor is an unfinished mess of bugs that skipped the Early Access stage. Right from the start when starting a new game it has a map selection and there is currently only 1 available and the other states “Coming Soon!” This is never mentioned on the store page that game is unfinished. I managed to finish the first level, but encountered numerous bugs:

  • Clipping through walls and objects - can walk off the map

  • Clunky interface

  • An object can be rotated to where it clips other objects

I love 3D data visualization. It really works when the interface is intuitive and you can focus on your data. It’s also amazing to feel the benefit of externalizing your thoughts in a 3D space - the model that you have in your head gets visualized, so that your mind’s eye is in a feedback loop with your real eyes. From imagination to creation, your idea can take form.

Noda makes this process seamless and easy. The visual design of the world and interface is elemental and intuitive, and the resulting creations are beautiful. I used Noda to organize my music library into different genres, something that I’ve always wanted to do. It’s great when you feel at ease and meditative when creating, and Noda is the ideal VR experience for this.

Hi devs !

I bought Noda and immediately spent a whole night on it, working on my story.

It felt amazing, so thanks for that !

Here are my observations and suggestions :

  • My first working environment choice was “Sky only”, but i had to renounce it when i noticed the teleport couldn’t be used there. Could you add an invisible floor to make moving possible there, and in the empty environment ?

  • I made mistakes sometimes, deleted elements, moved this or that and then changed my mind…. I had to redo a lot of things. I don’t know what kind of coding it would implie, but i would definitely have gained some efficacy, had i had a “Ctrl Z” of some sort.

One hell of a game. Although still a prototype, I think you’ll enjoy the public release. I was a backer for this project and I can say that the money I spent was more than worth it. If you paid mind to the game’s info, you likely saw the 12 backer tiers. I started out at Tier 2 (“Traveler”) when I first heard of the game. When they released the multiplayer demos I couldn’t wait, so I bumped up to Tier 3 (“Explorer”) a few months later. Last year I decided to upgrade to Tier 4 (“Operator”), and as of 2 July 2019 I ended up upgrading to Tier 5 (“Engineer”) because this game really has turned out so well. If you needed proof for how much these guys delivered, here you go.

This game showed significant promise in its early stages, and the main draw for me was being able to build and fly my own little fighting drones in the editor - with the hope of eventually being able to create land-based units with tank treads or mechanical legs.

However, development on this title unfortunately seems to have slowed to a complete halt: there hasn’t been an update, not even a bugfix, in over a year, and there’s been no word on how development is progressing in about 6 months.

They succeeded in their promise of delivering a functional drone editor, but even then a good portion of its features and place-able parts are unfinished, and at the moment users are restricted to basic cubes which they can cut into other shapes, as opposed to the totally freeform shapes seen in prebuilt designs. There’s also the slight issue of players being able to min-max their builds to obscene effectiveness by just putting a bunch of wings or something.

Its lego, in VR, its automatically cool. I will admit theres a couple of oddities, I dont get why the steps are repeated and it would be nice to rotate them rather than just move them around, make it clearer where hidden parts are going but seiroulsy, despite its flaws it works so well.

Beautiful amazing game and although I haven’t really been all that into survival games before, this one caught my eye and I’ve been hooked since. I love it and definitely recommended to those who enjoy games of this kind.

As the story apparently goes, you take the role of a young woman who was sailing in her boat but lost control and crash landed on a beach of an uncharted island. When you come to, you feel thirsty, hungry, and are all but lost in your new surroundings.

The only things you start with are some cookies, a few cans of soda, your trusty survival book, and a knife. After that you’re on your own. Prowling wild animals being your only neighbors, some of which don’t take too kindly to your presence… (they will attack you if they see you). And at that point you either make them your next source of food, or, well… you become theirs.

OK, first and foremost, totally worth it for the price. Graphics are excellent. Very playable on Easy. It has a way to go in development, but 5 bucks for a game that you can easily pass 5 hours in is worth it. Crafting system is fun enough, (if it lets you click on the item in the guide book, click it, that’s how you make it. Otherwise just put the appropriate amount of ingredients in your inventory and craft.) Clay in in the inland lakes and rivers. Iron and Sulfur don’t show up in incremental bits, you get nothing until you’ve whacked it a bunch. All of the animals take about the same number of hits, you don’t really need to avoid any of them. Go back to the starting area for soda and crackers, they respawn. There is a wood and stick grind that cold be improved in the mid game. I am interested to see where this goes. Oh, you have to forgive the animal variety on desert island, they wouldn’t all live there but what the hell, they work out to meat and leather.

At the time of this rating, I have around 6 hours of playtime, overall very good game, the developer is amazing and always keeps up with updates and the community is very nice! Hope to see where this game goes in the future!

its great.

if you download this game to its current state in developement, you may think its a bit boring over time, but still if you are creative, its a game with unlimited ways to play it.

this game is in early access, i was beta tester and even though there is a quite limiting amount of bricks to this point, this game has an extreme potential, and also Nat, the developer, always tries to implement community ideas and really cares what the communiy thinks, wich for me is an extreme positive effect.

I really love how fun WANTED RACCOON is & I’ve been really looking forward to playing this awesome game everyday as new content missions are added almost daily. I play a lot of RPG type games & they can quickly get boring with mindless button mashing & uninspired content. That isn’t the case with this game because so far the missions are very interesting to complete & sometimes the things you have to do are really funny. I can easily see myself replaying this game just for the sheer fun it offers plus the animal characters are super cute! The concept of using animals as the main characters is so cool that I wish more games would follow their example. I hope they offer a way to customize your raccoon in the future like maybe different shirts &/or hats & different styles of the backpack would be pretty neat. Another idea would be ways to vary the fur color pattern like maybe different under the eye fur patch shapes or different stripe patterns.

I will say that the game has a fair share of bugs–however, within the hour of the first game-breaking bug being found, the devs rolled out a patch to fix it. So, I’m not horrendously appalled by bugs, because they’re already showing how quickly they will fix them. It’s also very simple and quick to file bugs either on Discord or in-game.

The only other jarring potential is some localization issues to English. Which, I’m sure will be updated in time, as the devs are not English-based from what I can tell on their Discord. With the community as helpful as they seem, I’m sure a lot of the localization will be ironed out over time.

ARRIVING 2021!

Detour Bus is a VR construction-comedy adventure, where you build ridiculous winding highways, to take the dysfunctional Flowers family on a journey across Post-Infrastructure America. Nostalgia junkie Daddy Flowers aims to revive his family’s bonds before the end of Summer vacation, by taking them on a good old-fashioned road trip, but stuck together in a restored microbus, workaholic Momma, communist-in-training Junior, and social-media-baby Goldie have a lot more to fight about than unite over. Meanwhile, the open road is under threat; you’ll have to get in the construction groove to take on corrupt Senator Joseph McCarthief’s attempts to turn all freeways into pay-to-drive tunnels and reclaim your right to transportation.

Featuring:

  • play with the world’s grooviest toy car track using accessible one-button snap-and-place controls

  • eight iconic landmarks to navigate - from Mt. Busmore National Monument to the depths of the active Buscano

  • explore environments in a unique psychedelic art style - never before seen in VR

  • voice over from your passengers that responds to how you build

  • a giant tow truck mech to take down

  • bustomize your vehicle with hats, hubcaps, and more

Lab Craft Survival

Lab Craft Survival

This is a difficult survival sandbox game that doesn’t hold your hand. If you like figuring things out yourself and discovering hidden game mechanics, you’ll enjoy this game. If you don’t have a high tolerance for failing though, you might find the game frustrating.

It’s definitely rough around the edges with several bugs and translation errors, and updates have been non-existent. If you’re looking for polish in a game, you won’t find it here, although overall I found it enjoyable.

While this game is getting overhaul I must mention I play steam game “Coronation”.

Game is already interesting and immersive, its gorgeous that you can actually use toilet paper, flush the toilet, buy a bed and sleep better, make your clothes smell, sweat and need to clean them, need to eat and drink, work as a waiter, having a shower (the water effect and transition the sounds changes as you pass through it is is charming ), install appliances and plugging them into wall plugs, rest on ground being tired, not sleepy, install an alarm clock, If you are tired you cant run., this is the most promising thing I saw in long time. Visit beach, use a cart in a shopping mall.

It has potential to be a really good simulator, but it has its flaws. For instance, the FPS in John’s Diner can tank a lot and the mop gets stuck in my hand every now and then. Forcing me to save the game, quit it and reload it. Other minor bugs are the floating objects that can be seen around the map where AI once were. The game has a ton of customization options though for the apartment you’re given at the start. I just wish we could purchase a laptop, phone, or computer to purchase items online. Instead of having to walk all the way back and forth between the stores. Another thing that would be neat to see in game is some police, even if it’s just an AI cop car driving around. At least it’ll give it that more lively feel. If you are going to get this game, expect it to be annoying for the time being. Hopefully these bugs will be flushed out soon. I do recommend it though for those who like to customize things a lot, just choose Creative Mode for that.
