Real Boxing™

Real Boxing™

After 19hr of gameplay.

Hi all.

Here i am after 19hr (and a 10hr long session), really happy with the game (addictive!).

I don’t know the Fight Night series, but this game alone is worth if you like boxing or are interested in fight games, and you enjoy it for what it is (no real boxers, not really an AAA game - the game is a port from mobile devices). Plus it’s the only boxing game in steam that i know.

Combat is more toward simulation than arcade gameplay, where you can’t simply smash buttons to win. You need to think your strategy for the whole round, and the following ones. I found the mechanics equilibrated (although dodging is a little irritating, but adds a random factor to the combat).

Game is worse then i thought when i first played it. i’ve now cleaned up 100% achievements and that was the challenge in itself. The bugs in this game stop certain achievements or at least the way they have been set. the counter-punching one, for me it stopped counting at 76 in game, basically i was trying to get past that little did i know i had already got the achievement but i must of missed the pop up.

Another bugged achievement was the all belts no knockdown, i had done this over and over with no luck the solution was reset all the championships at the same time then go through them in one run without been knocked down, if you have a 100% fighter it should take 30-45 mins to finish

Creed: Rise to Glory™

Well its been a year since this game was released now and I’ve put in about 400hrs. Im sad to say that what started out with such great promise has been abandoned and forgotten by the devs. It really is a shame as this game could have easily been among everyones favourites if they had only fixed the bugs. Ill say something positive first though. This is still one of my most regularly played games despite its short comings and I’ve even lost 50kg/110lbs playing this. So big thankyou to the devs for that. If you would like to try PVP I suggest you have a look at this tutorial first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrS1aO-NrjM

I beat the career mode on this game and had a pretty good time with it, I wanted to leave a negative review for the same reason 99% of the others did, but changed it to positive since I still find myself coming back to this game. But please for the love of god create an option to turn off the stamina feature. It seems like they have no plans to ever do it though.

This is a statement from Survios regarding an option to toggle off the stamina feature:

“Creed: Rise to Glory’s stamina system was designed as part of our larger initiative to make a VR boxing game that wasn’t just about wildly punching, but incorporated new mechanics made possible by its inherently cinematic setting. One of the biggest challenges we faced was translating the sensation and effect of delivering punches to a solid human when you’re only swinging at air. Hitting a person is a lot more tiring than punching air–our devs took (and many continue to take) weekly boxing classes to understand how boxing feels in real life to best translate that into VR. We created the stamina system to combat against the player tendency to charge forward and rapidly flail or waggle their arms; instead, you have to conserve your energy, watch your opponent, plan your moves, and practice strategic defense. We feel that this makes for a much more intense experience that keeps you on your toes.”

Cyber Fight Challenge

Cyber Fight Challenge

The fights are fun and online matches start up quickly. Ranking system seems to be a work in progress as I can see no real stats for my fighter. Tournaments also seem to be broken at this time. You can play against NPC fighters or online both are alot of fun but not polished by any means.

Only progress I can see is with the coins. You start off with 1000 silver coins and depending if you win or lose online fights you get or lose 10 coins. These coins are used to buy Gloves, Shorts, and Shoes for your fighter but the cheapest thing is 5k silver coins so get ready to grind those coins. If tournaments worked and you can place in it grind wouldn’t be so bad. You can also purchase another kind of currency with real money to but the cosmetics.

The game has Potential.

If you buy it, just know you’re not getting the finished article, literally it is an unfinished game.

It doesn’t have a career mode and I’m a bit Suspicious if I’m being matched up against real people or AI.

The Matches are 2 rounds and 2 minutes long, which didn’t bother me when I thought I was fighting real people.

The game play is amazing and I recommend buying it and using it to train, for what is hopefully to come.

Come face-to-face with a heavyweight champ!

Too many boxing games place the player outside the ring looking in. How can you experience the adrenaline jolt of landing a crisp uppercut from the cheap seats?

Now you can literally “enter the ring” in the classic first-person boxing game TKO from Accolade™ – the boxing game that sticks you right on the canvas, staring straight into the eyes of a prize fighter bent on rearranging your face.

TKO’s features make it a unanimous decision:

  • Split-screen, arcade-style boxing action gives you a dual, first-person perspective. Watch yourself hit and get hit.

  • Witness the punishment of the punches on each fighter’s face. They swell. They bruise. They turn black and blue.

  • Calibrate each boxer’s strengths. Is his left better than his right? Is he cat-like or a clubber? Does he run out of band-aids or run out of gas?

  • Fight a stable of hungry contenders, each with his own ringside manner.

  • Slug it out with large, animated fighters. Pick on somebody your own size.

  • One or two player capability: pummel friends or clobber the computer.

  • Aerial-cam shows your position in the ring.

I played this with a friend via remote play and enjoyed it a lot. There are some major bugs at the moment that hampered the play, namely with controller detection. Glitches such as the volume control reverting back to full volume in the middle of a match, sudden death rounds not allowing anyone to take damage, or being able to bring up the main menu during arcade mode and blocking up the screen, these are a few examples.

This game fills a niche that I really like and is cheaply priced. If you do not like unfinished early access games, then you should wait for more development, but I’ve gotten the game to be able to provide more feedback to the developers. I can give this game a modest recommendation for now.

Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions

Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions

In short - Fully licensed soundtrack gets the hairs up when you getting battered, for sure. Overpriced, but great fun. Its polished. (Yep Eye of the Tiger)

In Summary - Still think launch price is high but More depth than you think as all secondary boxers have some attention with dialogue and story. Playing as Luke O’Grady the limited Irish scrapper is very enjoyable and the over the hill ‘El Tigre’ with debt to the REAL Canon Rocky businessmen Gazzo are particularly good fun.

Legends Rocky, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago get their due attentions too, so learn that Guard and Dodge button.

Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions:

Who could forget the sensational scene of Apollo Creed dancing in front of a packed house at the Grand Hotel to the iconic song from James Brown, "Living in America", while the boxing ring rises from beneath the stage with Ivan Drago in the middle in Rocky IV? A film franchise with 8 movies and the upcoming Creed III (2022), which has sold over 1.7 billion at the box office worldwide. A musical and 9 video games, including the Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions. So, who would you fight with to become the next boxing champion? Rocky, Apollo, Ivan or Adonis! Can you hear the theme? Can you? It's time to get them, tiger!

## Art of Boxing

There is allot of room for improvement, and i admit, it is unique in it's own rights, the movement, and physics, make it so that you're not an accurate muhammad ali marciano fresh out the gate, you need to cleanly land punches, to do damage, the bobble head thing gets annoying, and it's not anything like fight night, or any other boxing game out there, if nurtured, this can be one of the most accurate but still fun and quirky depictions of the sweet science, that being said…..

You need to release some kind of improvements along the way, waiting for a huge update like you said, may work if it's all done correctly, or may hurt your games success if felt like a waste of time and money for those who have purchased and gone beyond the refund period, we all see the potential, and took a chance, Your Move!..

ive been playing for a while now its a great game i have missed boxing since they stopped making fight night on the consoles so please keep going one day it will be a polished gem

the biggest problem i am having is that lots of punches wont connect even if it is a flush hit plus it doesnt help that he gets glitched throwing an uppercut forever also it does this weird thing where the camera focuses on the opponent and makes it a bit of a hard time to box him as you can only see the ends of your hands its a great game that needs a lot of work its good that the creator keeps updating it and hopefully these issues will be sorted out soon as i feel i have hit an unplayable point in the game due to these issues and i want to keep playing haha
