The opponent moves its queen back and forth non-stop until I make an attacking move. This is not how chess is played. Furthermore, I have 3 knights left and 2 pawns and the opponent 1 pawn somewhere a bit below the middle of the board and the game is failed for me. Why? The reason cannot be a stalemate.

Descent: Legends of the Dark
The App is being supported well. Game play is fun and innovative. It still feels like Descent. I like the streamlined changes to the fatigue system. I like the combat system better now that there isn’t a 16% chance of whiffing. You might do very little damage, but something always happens on an attack roll. The multi level terrain adds a neat visual affect and has a descent affect on game play.

FFGs best app based board game yet! Enemies drop loot, you can harvest crafting materials, save your game between rounds, visit a town where you can craft items, have town triggered events, and more. Each mission had specific points of interest and and interactions that were unique depending on which characters you brought with you. I’m also really impressed with the quest variety. They’ve really outdone themselves. 33 hours in, and still having a blast.
Super excited to continue my adventure, and I hope to see this board game/app supported for a long time to come!

WARTILE
Edit: I’ve won the game and it is pretty fun. The key factor to realize is that the archer is the most important character using the volley card. Once you get used to the game I really like the concept but it was challenging to mentally adjust to the different style of game (cool down vs turn based) coming from the turn based world. Using the slow down feature is essential until you get up to speed. On the higher levels it is absolutely critical to use the slow down feature to dodge tough opponents as them attack.

Tabletop quest for the Sagas
Wartile is a strategy game allowing the player to take command of a Norse warband on a quest to save their land from a mysterious plague. Developed by a very aptly named danish studio PlaywoodProject, the game plays as a miniature wargame. Each character in Wartile is represented by a wooden figurine, battling their way across adorably detailed dioramas. While the game had visibly limited resources to work with, the developers have fully committed what they had towards an idea of tabletop game brought to life. An idea, in my book, they firmly delivered upon.

my mind has been blown. im surprised at how little attention this has. as of now product is 2% positive reviews away from “overwhelmingly positive” and rightfully so (i hope it makes it there c:). First off i would like to emphasize that this is not a game but an emulator. A very very nice emulator on steroids. i would akin it more as software that you use to run other games. 3Dsen does not come with these games but it will greatly enhance them if you download the games (via a simple google search) and run them with 3Dsen. their very easy to download if i want super mario bro 3 i just google “super mario bro 3 nes download” and boom there it is.

3DSENVR breathes new life into old classics. Duck Hunt makes for a respectable target shooter in VR. That’s right: Duck Hunt… a game that came out in 1984… is a FUN VR GAME now.
Even stuff that kind of sucked… at the time it came out… is now modernized into a total blast to play: A 1983 Pinball game I otherwise wouldn’t have given ANY thought to as an 8-year-old kid is freaking MAGICAL now. To be clear: I had ZERO nostalgic feelings for that title… but now it’s one of my favorite 3DSENVR games.

GATE
I had been looking for a good program to help me play remote D&D for a while. G.A.T.E. is the perfect solution. I can keep in touch with my gaming buddies that don’t live near me anymore, and our adventures can continue. There is also a Discord available where the developer is active and talks to users. All in all I highly recommend G.A.T.E. to anyone who needs a way to play any grid based adventure games remotely with friends.

Picture it: it’s Friday night, and the party is all here to start the new DnD session. Only this time you’re online, trying to use Roll20.
You’re the DM, and it’s your first time using the website. You realize you don’t have a “picture” required to launch the campaign, so you open the only jpg on your desktop–a photo of a plate of lasagna you made, for some reason–and click launch the game. Finally, you think to yourself. We can play online now, cool!
Only it’s not cool. You get into the open game. Three of your players aren’t here, because they don’t know how to create an account, because they’ve never used the internet before–especially that one guy, Larry, who’s 58 years old. You realize after launching the game for the first time that your Firefox browser which you haven’t updated in the last 3 years is unsupported. So you pause for another ten minutes as you update, or load Edge (it’s actually a good browser now guys I promise,) and launch the game again.

Spiritle
Spiritle is a turn-based strategic battle digital board game. You incarnate a Spirit among the 4 elements: Nature, Earth, Water and Fire. At the rhythm of the 4 seasons, the fallen Spirits challenge each other to regain their place in the World Tree.
Although the game seems easy, your way to victory will not be, and you will have to build a solid strategy to overcome the traps and other obstacles that players will have prepared.
CLASSIC MODE
After selection of Spirit and its skills, the 4 players can deploy their characters and move on the board. Open and uncover the tiles. If you pair identical tiles you can attack the other players.
However, each Spirits have many unique skills and other way to attack. Pick them and use them skillfully at the right time to counter your opponents' strategies.
PLAY WITH FRIEND
Challenge and outplay your friends in Custom mode. Create a private room and share his code to allow them to join it. Between alliances and betrayals, this mode is a treat to play with friends.

Dragon Hunters
I haven’t seen a game like this. It’s a tabletop D&D style dice game, but on computer. I like that I can play separate saved games. It feels like this game could have endless variations with the different levels & boards and single or multi-player options. The monsters and monster cut scenes have a cool Mortal Kombat feel. The video ad for this game is hilarious. I love the old-school touches.
