Creepy Mahjong

Creepy Mahjong

Creepy Mahjong is a dark theme Mahjong solitaire with a twist.

Levels follow a story, but each time you play, the story might be different.

Completing some levels or failing to, will bring you to a different path of levels to explore.

In each level, you have to fight a monster, and with the pass of time, your life reduces.

Each time a pair of tiles is removed, you get back some health.

If you get stuck and your health isn’t too low, you can escape and get a new monster to fight with, but be careful because your health is carried from one level to another either if you win or escape.

To bring you more into the creepy mood, this game purposely has no hints or shuffle, and some levels might not be solvable due to the random tile placement.

It’s up to you to figure out and decide when it’s time to escape and try to find another match or keep fighting.

Create and Share your own Levels

Purchasing Creepy Mahjong, you will also get access to a Level Editor where you can create your own design.

After designing your level you will obtain a code that you can use to share it with your friends and community.

Share your creations with your friends for an endless challenge!

Dominant Mind

Dominant Mind

Dominant Mind is a Steam version of one of the most popular board games ever!! If you are a lover of logic games, this is the right game for you! People have always been interested in challenging the mind with mind games and exercise the brain with brain training games. Our brain is a muscle and just like every other muscle. It needs exercise to develop and keep fit!

Try in two playing modes to break the code:

  • easy mode with 4 pins

  • hard mode with 5 pins

The logic and Dominant Mind game rules are very similar to a mind game called Bulls and Cows that was played with a pencil on paper. Ready to get your brain training?

Updated review after the most recent patch. Most issues I had with the game have now been fixed, and I have changed back to a “recommended” review as promised. This is the longest review I’ve ever written, and the only one I’ve edited more than once. These facts alone should tell you something about the depth and investment this game offers! Most of the text below this line is no longer relevant, but I’m leaving it up as a history of sorts and a memory of what kind of long-winded criticisms the patient devs have dealt with! :D

Digital Boardgames are a bit of an odd genre. As a fan of both physical board games and digital strategy games I’ve struggled to grasp the hybrid. Why represent a complex strategy game with cards and dice rolls when you don’t have to, especially if your game doesn’t have a physical equivalency.

Enter Heretic Operative. The description reads “Inspired by games like Pandemic, Arkham Horror, and Talisman” and that was a big selling point for me. Having recently become an obssessive for the Arkham Horror card game, I knew what this meant for the game in general - action-point, narrative driven “built to probably kill you” by design. Great.

Nice puzzel game, but you need to understand electronic basics first.

Not easy, but nice!

Atm its somehow bugged and i realy hope the guy who made it, will also fix it.

Also it would be nice if he would make a list of all possible parts and name them, so also the guys who doesnt know anything about electronic parts can understand why you need to put a led after a device.

The wires black/red are not 100% right colored, thats anoying.

Also some expert dlc of a circuit of an easy radio or so would be nice. =)

WARNING: UNITY INCOMING!!!

–——————————-

It’s pretty, it’s simple, it’s got cute soothing music which is a must as it’s also got the usual round of unity silliness.

Basic tile game and kinda fun at that, unfortunately that’s all it has going for it.

To get the achievements I had to do a lot of clicking level select buttons to re-do some levels (not a network glitch it just didn’t register the achievements the first time, got first and last level achievements first then 5,10,20,ect) and that’s just this round of unity bugs.

Causa, Voices of the Dusk

Causa, Voices of the Dusk

I have waited until the end of the beta to make this review, to follow close the development of the project, so I have a lot to say. First of all, Causa have captivated me since the origin because was very different to all card games we have, it have 3 big differences to them:

  1. First and more important, is not a game gated to the “mana system” cards have not mana costs, the game works by “Levels” of a different source, the Causa Pile, this pool of resources is filled with cards you “sacrifice” from your hand or board, and the actual “costs” of the cards are the “Plays per turn”, you can play cards from your hand or the same Causa Pile if they have same or lower Level requirement than the amount of cards in your Causa, those cards expends Plays, so normally you can play up to 2 cards per turn, but a lot of them give you more plays to chain combos between them and make fun and smart strategic moves.

Causa has many new ideas that fix every problem I’ve ever had with other card games. Their development team is consistently involved with the community, listening to suggestions and sharing promo codes and in game items.

Story

The lore of the game is incredibly deep if you care to look into it. I do, and I’ve fallen in love with the world hidden behind the cards.

Sound

The sound is amazing! Every sound effect is made to fit what’s happening on the screen, and the music is fitting for both menu and battle.
