Dominant Mind
Dominant Mind is a Steam version of one of the most popular board games ever!! If you are a lover of logic games, this is the right game for you! People have always been interested in challenging the mind with mind games and exercise the brain with brain training games. Our brain is a muscle and just like every other muscle. It needs exercise to develop and keep fit!
Try in two playing modes to break the code:
-
easy mode with 4 pins
-
hard mode with 5 pins
The logic and Dominant Mind game rules are very similar to a mind game called Bulls and Cows that was played with a pencil on paper. Ready to get your brain training?

Safe Squares
Glad that I bought it.
I’m just effectively working with my emotions while playing this game. These puzzles are organized in such a way that I’m feeling nervous when solving - so after completing I can close my eyes and reflect on my thoughts and emotions.
So you can really help yourself if you buy.

Sagrada
A few months ago, my roommates got me hooked on the physical version of this board game, and we absolutely couldn’t get enough. As a Birthday gift, a friend sent me a copy of the digital game we’d all been contemplating getting. After playing a few rounds online, including crossplaying with friends on mobile, I can say this is one of the best digital board games I’ve found to date.
The campaign is realistically just more Sagrada for you to play, but some of the later boards do have some difficult to navigate board/color situations that no one would normally pick, leading to the player having to take interesting and unique lines they wouldn’t normally while playing with friends.

This is both an excellent game and an excellent development! No bugs whatsoever, which is a very rare find these days. Congrats to the developers! :-)
It has a good Tutorial and lots of solo content through a Campaign Mode or Solo Mode.
The Campaign is very well designed. It also works as a simple and inviting way to learn more advanced strategies. I learned about all its features by playing it this way. You can replay it as many times as you want and you get rewarded by that. Upper levels get unlocked only after achieving certain goals.

BAO
As a Tanzanian local who grew up playing this game I am glad that the game now has a good and accurate representation on Steam. The game has a lot more strategic options and variations than most mancala like games.

Like chess, this game requires that the players think a few steps ahead; however, while chess has a few set of rules and a few kinds of pieces, Bao has only one kind of piece and a complex system of rules to govern them. In chess, you take time to set up your pieces. In Bao, you work through two different phases of the game, and watch your work chain react (the flow to this is hard to explain, but satisfying to experience). Those looking for a popular, simple game may find this hard to warm up to (that said, this game does come with a tutorial, and will highlight legal possible moves). Those looking for a fresh mental exercise, or perhaps wanting to learn about other cultures may be interested to give this a shot.

Mars Power Industries: First Job
An interesting expansion to the original game. I like the atmoshpere and the new mechanics!

That was surprisingly fun! About 20-25 minutes of gameplay, but this is a teaser for the complete game, so perfectly understandable.
You’re in charge of colony planning, sort-of. There is no narrative, and you have to experiment to find the rules of the different building types. I’m intrigued by the end of Year 21, the last level. The full game is going on my wishlist right now!

Captain Backwater
Pretty fun little puzzle game so far, I’m about a quarter of the way through. Only drawback I see is there are no targets for the number of moves so you don’t really know how well you did on each level. You can replay to beat your own score but it would be nice to have some indication of the minimum number of moves required to complete each level. I recommend but I got this in a bundle for a buck and a half. Doubt I’d recommend it at the 8.99 price.

Captain Backwater:
Sailors, avast ye (pay attention)! See this old scroll in my hand . . . can someone tell me why sailor Sean is looking at my hook? Oh, shiver me timbers - this scroll is the map of the archipelago right in front of us! One hundred islands in total and all have a cross on them! That’s right me hearties, each hold exceptional booty for the taking. Arrgh, now seriously . . . does anyone on board have half a brain? “Yo Ho Ho” the entire crew screamed! “Oh boy, it’s going to be a long treasure hunt”, thought Captain Backwater.

I absolutely loved the first game ("Gizmos: Steampunk Nonograms"), so I purchased this without hesitation on its release date! Super fun nonograms that start out easy, and go up to a more challenging 30x30 grid. The auto-fill feature, once a line is completed, is probably one of my favourite features of this game. The jigsaw puzzle mini-games offer a nice "break" inbetween puzzles (this is skippable if you prefer not to do them). There is also a "perfect time" timer.. for those who like an extra challenge.. as well as leaderboards and Steam Achievements. It's also a great price (even w/o any discounts)! Pretty backgrounds, cute characters/sound effects, and even a story! If you enjoy nonograms; I HIGHLY recommend adding this to your library!

## Spacious Snake
Nice puzzle game that uses simple mechanics but manages to offer a lot of nice challenges. You play as a snake , but you must plan your moves carefully as some movement restrictions are in place. Overall, the game is a nice time-killer for puzzle fans.

A very simple mechanic, but different with different levels, but very well thought out. I loved the whole game itself, the soundtrack, the way the difficulty gradually evolves, the visuals and even the feeling of satisfaction when finishing a level. idea very well thought out and executed 10/10.

## Super X Chess
An excellent game for chess variant enthusiasts.
Game play: This game sports multiple game rules and a plethora of new fairy pieces while still keeping the core of the game intact. The tutorial and the AI make learning the new rules easy and the game offers a lot of potential for improving your strategic thinking. The AI can be adjusted from easy to challenging and either side can be handicapped material. The new scenario selector offers additional opportunities for new and exciting situations to explore. There is also a list that lets you review the games you have played which is another major plus.

The music choice for this chess game is really good, and the chess is… well, chess. and what could be better?
