Amazing game! worth way more than free, fun with friends and enemies. Epic achievement update with fun achievements to spend hours trying to complete :) Awesome characters and easter eggs. I love this game it is the best game by Sayincraft Studios that is on steam (so far).

Relaxing VR Games: Mahjong
This is a perfectly functional and smooth-running game, but I still can’t endorse it, even under $1. First of all, this isn’t Mahjong. It’s Mahjong solitaire. It runs on Oculus Rift only, as the description states. I thought that won’t affect streaming to Quest, but I was wrong. The two scenes are nice, but low resolution and they don’t have any motion (like a babbling brook that is frozen in time). VR brings nothing to this game, in fact they have compensate for it by tilting the board as you look at different areas so tiles don’t get covered up. That’s not nauseating, but what is nauseating is the HMD only tracks rotation, not movement, so you’re head will be moving left or right, but the world around you doesn’t reflect that. The only options are to turn sounds off (not even a volume controller).

The Bluecoats: North & South
The game is full of bugs, errors, AI should be improved a lot, keyboard commands are not always comfortable, the map is quite uncomfortable.
But it was my favorite game on the Amiga and that’s okay then
UPDATE
After 24 hours of gameplay the thing I find most annoying during the assault on the forts is the lack of footsteps in the enemies and the spawn behind them

Not bad, actually. I read the controls were not good originally but that an update fixed it, for me they were working with an American keyboard. The new 3D shooter fights are not bad but I miss the original jump’n’run environments.

Pop’s
‘Pop’s’ is a fun little arcade stall style shooter in which you have to shoot various toys with a colour corresponding ball. Set in a funfair style setting the graphics are bright and colourful keeping with the fun theme. The good news is the gameplay is also fun and very simple to get into (despite the long, drawn-out tutorial). Provided you are going to play this at a VR party with friends or you just enjoy chasing your own score you will get your money’s worth there, but in truth, there really isn’t a lot of content. Sure, its not original and you don’t get a lot for your money, but its a bit of fun for a small price and that is good enough for me.

Simply Chess
This is a free game, which means it doesn’t really matter whether I “recommend” it or not. So I won’t recommend it, and you’re gonna get it anyway. Everybody wins. Unless you try the multiplayer, which is a fate worse than death. But we’ll get to that.
I guess it’s a decent enough chess simulator, but there are some glaring problems that leaves it an unsatisfactory experience.
The most absurd characteristic that you’ll soon notice is that computer black never, ever - EVER! - plays the Sicilian defense, the line which is statistically the most advantageous for black. I didn’t see it once, even after beating all 100 computer levels, with hundreds of games as white (I have no idea how many, as you can’t “resign” games against the computer, and losing games that you simply exit are not counted in the statistics). The engine does love the Scandinavian defense though. Get used to seeing that.

IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS GAME EXISTS, THEN DO NOT WRITE A FVK1NG REVIEW!
I am only writing this review because this game does in fact deserve positive feedback. I am very disappointed at how the Steam community immediately give negative feedback to newly released games as if the game was already in its finalized form. This basically gives the developers no morale or reason to continue improving their game since the rating has already been decided by the sheer ignorance of the community.

MONOPOLY® PLUS
This game is so much fun for the whole family! You get to roleplay as Mr. Monopoly man’s henchmen; people are saying that the game is glitchy and crashes a-lot, but I disagree! It only crashes when you SUCK at the game haha. Anyway, I totally recommend this game for any hard-core video gamers, but also casuals alike! Bots are really fun to play with because they make me feel adequate in my life.
I just don’t understand the hate for the game. Mr. Monopoly gave me this nice Kool-Aid and everytime I play the game I just have a blast… :) 10/10

The game is great but there is one problem. The NAT type problem. For some reason this game has a weird system where most of the time you have a strict NAT type which means you can’t join online games with friends so it locks you out of the fun part of the game. Additionally Ubisoft have done nothing so far and you have to port forward whatever it is in your router in order to fix it. This is the only game that has this problem. No other game has this problem to what I believe. The main game is great but connecting is the biggest problem this game has.

Mahjong Pretty Girls Battle : School Girls Edition
The very first thing that should be iterated about this game is that it is by NO MEANS a good way to learn how to play Riichi Mahjong at all. Don’t buy this expecting it to include a tutorial on how to play; the only “help” it includes is a quick reference to what buttons do what when pressed. This game is basically your standard, low-budget, offline Mahjong software that’s pretty common in Japan. As such, it’s marketed towards a demographic which is already, at the very least, passingly familiar with the game and how it’s played. The translation was likely done via google translate in an attempt to make more sales by cashing in on a Western audience who might’ve watched Akagi or Saki and thought “man, I have no idea what the fuck is going on but this looks really cool! I want in!” In that respect, it would seem that the developers were pretty successful in their endeavour, much to the buyers' dismay.

Pros:
-
fully functional Riichi Mahjong on Steam
-
“custom rules” like number of rounds, starting points, open tanyao, red fives, etc.
Cons:
-
“pretty” and “cute” are subjective. Just a handful of the girls don’t look like shit
-
no tutorial for beginners, not even basic stuff like a scoring table or yaku-list. If you can’t play riichi you won’t learn it with this game
-
horrible gamespeed. You have the choice between painfully slow and way to fast. Choose slow and one game lasts several minutes. Choose fast and the AI discards 3 tiles in a split second. Best thing about that: If the AI calls on a discard for a win you don’t know who it came from and what it was until a cut scene ends.

Sagrada
A few months ago, my roommates got me hooked on the physical version of this board game, and we absolutely couldn’t get enough. As a Birthday gift, a friend sent me a copy of the digital game we’d all been contemplating getting. After playing a few rounds online, including crossplaying with friends on mobile, I can say this is one of the best digital board games I’ve found to date.
The campaign is realistically just more Sagrada for you to play, but some of the later boards do have some difficult to navigate board/color situations that no one would normally pick, leading to the player having to take interesting and unique lines they wouldn’t normally while playing with friends.

This is both an excellent game and an excellent development! No bugs whatsoever, which is a very rare find these days. Congrats to the developers! :-)
It has a good Tutorial and lots of solo content through a Campaign Mode or Solo Mode.
The Campaign is very well designed. It also works as a simple and inviting way to learn more advanced strategies. I learned about all its features by playing it this way. You can replay it as many times as you want and you get rewarded by that. Upper levels get unlocked only after achieving certain goals.
