Chezzle

Chezzle

I enjoyed playing this game. The levels are not too difficult and while they do get a bit harder as you progress it is nothing exceedingly difficult. While some knowledge of chess may help you, the game does let you know where your piece can move. Being able to jump over pieces is a nice twist on classic chess while adding just a bit more to the difficulties of some puzzles.

Lovely little chess puzzler, nothing feels too complicated but they’re not all that simple either, so you feel smart breezing through them. The music and rain sounds are nice too.

Honestly I found this to be one of those odd nice games you can have on while you’re working – instead of getting lost scrolling on social media you can just play a round or two of Chezzle and then go back to what you were doing.

JENTRIX

JENTRIX

Meet Jentrix! This game was inspired by the famous board game and combines the very best of Jenga, match-3 and Tetris. And it’s all packed in Virtual Reality!

We are pretty sure you know the classic Jenga, but what if instead of wooden blocks there would be colorful fruit cubes, the towers would grow every second, and crocodiles would try to bite your hands?

Jentrix mixes different sets of mechanics from everyone’s favorite games. Jenga provides its well-known look of the tower and tests your physical and mental skills. Match-3 brings its popular 3-in-a-row portion, while Tetris vibes will put you to the edge as the tower grows.

The Little Trashmaid Puzzletime

The Little Trashmaid Puzzletime

Lots of nice puzzles to play! However, there are some things that make this game a bit tedious

  1. Lack of proper volume control. There are only 3 volume settings: Loud, Medium and Mute. No slider or more options

  2. Pieces have to be held after clicking. Please add a toggle or something where we can select what mouse option we want, between click, hold and drag the piece, or click once, and the piece is stuck, click again and the piece is released.

Other than that, it’s a decent puzzle game. Laughing at all the pictures from old episodes, and some new ones as well!

I love that the puzzles are pictures from the webtoon comic plus there is actual art of the characters.

Panqueca & Paçoca: A Friendship Jigsaw

Panqueca & Paçoca: A Friendship Jigsaw

This is a feel good chill jigsaw puzzle game. There is a thin story with each puzzle. No timers, Each puzzle has three difficulty levels 81, 196 and 361 pieces. the largest size can be done in around 2-3 hours. Hints are available but totally unnecessary.

The only complaint i had is a lack of option to separate the edges, other than that it was a good relaxing time waster. Highly recommended.

This is a very relaxing and peaceful game with a sweet story. The story is told in five parts, each one illustrated with a charming hand-drawn style picture that make up the game’s puzzle content. The related part of the story appears after you complete the puzzle.

Each puzzle comes in 3 size versions which also provides players with 3 levels of challenge. Puzzle enthusiasts will enjoy all of them. There are no time limits and hints are available if you get stuck.

The 16 achievements can all be earned in a single play-through. 15 are earned when you complete each of the puzzles in all 3 sizes. The last one is earned when you complete all five puzzles once and get to read the whole storyline.

A Fun, Moving Collection

Slide Stories: Bonds & Memories is a collection of eight slider puzzles that tell a story and reflect on memories. There are seven standard puzzles and an eighth bonus puzzle that you can find (which was a pretty cool feature). The puzzles are available in different sizes: 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, and 9x9.

I really enjoy the hand-drawn images and the story they tell. The pictures are animated rather than still. Though I like the idea of animation (and really enjoyed it in the first collection of slide puzzles, Slide Stories: Neko’s Journey) I did find the animation to be a bit too much: it felt like each image was persistently shaking and I often found myself feeling rather nauseated. That was really unfortunate. I would suggest, in this case, to have an option to freeze the animation. Maybe in future collections revert back to the fewer animations from the other collection.

Very cool how the game’s music combines with the moving art in the game, it gave a really nice feel to the game, but the coolest thing for me is the story behind it, it’s really fun to see the adventure unfold between these two characters. Great game and great replayability factor, as there are different difficulty levels for any type of player you are.

Dracula Frames: Review

I showed up for the vampire and stayed for the puzzles. Bram Stoker would approve. He might even be stoked cough Moving on… ^, ,^

Dracula Frames was quite enjoyable, relaxing even. Well, except for when I did fairly poorly on a puzzle or two. Then I had to check my frustration. It was my own blunders, the puzzles just take a little patience and perseverance.

The art was wonderful, and the game is satisfying to complete. I did finish all 9 achievements. But I confess that the secret would have eluded me without help from the community guide. Shout out to Jamkolero. I did some of it on my own but I sincerely doubt I would have completed all the steps without help. You can wrap up the game in under 2 hours if you do not run into too much trouble with the slide puzzles. There are some 3x3 and 4x3 puzzles, I believe the largest is about 5x4.

Happy Puzzle

I like this game. The puzzle aspect of this game is actually a really good brain teaser and the sex animations and story are fun with different scenarios for each girl.

There are 2 parts of this game and both are pretty great. The first part is the main game which is an interesting number grid puzzle (honestly, I haven’t seen this type of puzzle before) where you try to get to a piece of heart using numbered pieces that kind of create a bridge for other pieces. I am at level 20 right now, these aren’t easy. These puzzles feel disjointed with the sexual theme of this game like they wanted to make a simple looking complicated puzzle, but they felt like there had to be other incentive for people to even look at it, so they added sexual content. In the background is a lightly blurred out picture of one of the girls from the 5-6 stories you can pick in the “extras” category. There is only one song that plays on the main part of the game, but honestly, the reason I have 6 hours on this game is because it’s nice to fall asleep to, very relaxing, at least for me.

A fresh approach to the already over-saturated market of lower-budget puzzle games, Happy Puzzle delivers by bringing a rather new type of puzzling which requires thinking and planning ahead. Where mostly other mature, sexual-content related tagged games, simply rely on their x-rated content to increase the amount of purchases of their product, HappyGames succeed in bringing a decent puzzler, where the nudity aspect remains a bonus. With Happy Puzzle being HappyGames’s fourth installment, the developer / publisher has become a well established producer in the genre.
