Creepy Mahjong

Creepy Mahjong

Creepy Mahjong is a dark theme Mahjong solitaire with a twist.

Levels follow a story, but each time you play, the story might be different.

Completing some levels or failing to, will bring you to a different path of levels to explore.

In each level, you have to fight a monster, and with the pass of time, your life reduces.

Each time a pair of tiles is removed, you get back some health.

If you get stuck and your health isn’t too low, you can escape and get a new monster to fight with, but be careful because your health is carried from one level to another either if you win or escape.

To bring you more into the creepy mood, this game purposely has no hints or shuffle, and some levels might not be solvable due to the random tile placement.

It’s up to you to figure out and decide when it’s time to escape and try to find another match or keep fighting.

Create and Share your own Levels

Purchasing Creepy Mahjong, you will also get access to a Level Editor where you can create your own design.

After designing your level you will obtain a code that you can use to share it with your friends and community.

Share your creations with your friends for an endless challenge!

Plaguepunk Justice

Great mix of roguelike and squad based strategy. Unique setting and mechanics for a zombie game. Love the art style and the music is very enjoyable and gives a nice tone. Very polished with no crashes or issues so far. Has that addictive “one more turn/mission”. Glad I found this hidden gem.

recently got this game on sale, got completely hooked within the first three missions

the style, dialogue, combat, and crafting system are all top notch, 10/10

some of the things that hold the game back in my eyes is the movement, often times passing through another person (or vice versa) can mess up my placement, but to be fair thats just a learning curve

the combat enforces high mobility because of the healing combat, and i think thats really interesting. It makes positioning, resource management, exploration, and map awareness very important. Also requires a little bit of tracking which “patients” you have already treated, etc

Hell’s Gate makes you FEEL like Jeffrey Dahmer.

From the wailing of lost souls condemned to endless torture in the depths of Tartarus, to the occult and bizarre imagery plastered onto the puzzle pieces; This game really lets you immerse yourself and walk in the shoes of a deranged madman that will go to any means necessary to keep playing his sick and disturbed game!

Here’s the Keyes! Knock yourself out!

October Night Games

This is a nice little puzzle-like game, and it’s more complex than meets the eye at first time. I enjoyed it more and more, when exploring how things worked out.

I found the hunt for manage the achievements fun, and I have collected 21 of 23. Coming Halloween I will reach 22, but to get the last we all have to wait until 2039! (Playing during Halloween, beneath full moon)

But … after 98 hours playing the “Halloween” campaign I have reached my goals, more or less. Will I play the game again? There is a second campaign “Freezing Moon”. I didn’t see anything that interested me there. The only effect I could see was that you take injuries by the freezing cold. I will check it out again … but I don’t see it as that fun.

Been having a really fun time playing this one and I’m not the most active board game player, love the setting and it’s inspirations. The developers have been releasing patches since the launch of the game making it better and correcting some bugs, there’s a lot of fun to be had here, even if you just play againts bots.

Evil Cult

Evil Cult

Evil Cult gives the player control over a Cult which tries to take over key figures in society to spread its influence and complete the Final Ritual, before any of the competing cults.

Generators generate resources, making them an obvious prime target for expansion, yet the easier (cheaper) to influence Adepts increase the probability of gathering Virgins, which serve as resource wildcards and are of course necessary for rituals as a sacrifice.

Sects within the cult allow for some optional micro-management. However, the player’s attention is mainly directed at the expansion on the map, resource balance, and awareness of the Investigator.

This game represents a very niche and rare computer game genre: the cult simulator. There are only two games I know of in this genre: 1. Evil Cult, and 2. Cults and Daggers, which is also available on Steam. This game has great potential, and is being improved with expansion sets. I highly recommend this game, which also has an excellent soundtrack.

Final Match

Final Match

A good start, the game is a little rough around the edges with bugs coming up and still waiting for new content etc but nothing you would not expect from an early access game. I found the system engaging and once I got a handle on it I had fun looking for combinations of cards and abilities. I have only played this as a single player and in this have had much more than my money’s worth already.

It’s such a great game, but you need to know what to do with your cards. It’s too expensive for me. It should be F2P

I only got this game because I grew up doing puzzles and I like fantasy art. The art is typical female-based fantasy art and the pictures are nice. There are 20 different pictures. They follow the D&D and fantasy art concept that less armor is more when it comes to female characters.

To complete the 100 achievements, you have to do each puzzle 5 times. Each puzzle has 12, 24, 48, 96, and 192 pieces. Obviously, the fewer piece options are very easy. The 96 and 192 piece options take longer. Some of the 192 piece puzzles took me between 20-30 minutes. There is a hint option, but I didn’t use it other than to see what it was. You can also save the puzzle that you are working on and go back to it.

The graphics are very simple and the guitar music is pleasant.

The puzzles surprised me, they are really interesting and smart. I liked this game.

The option to download the music is welcome, the on-screen menu is intuitive, clean and works well.

The level selection is very good.

Extreme simplicity in everything, but it fulfills what is proposed.

tl;dr: puzzle game to calm down after a stressful day. Can be played one-handed, but this audience is better served elsewhere. This is art, not some cheap manga stuff. @Devs: waiting for Dark Fantasy 3, 4, 5 and counting, will definitely buy them too!

Long version: Relaxing puzzle game, second installment, which is better in any aspect than its predecessor. You can play 24 aesthetic fantasy images which are of high and consistent quality and you can split it into more pieces to increase the difficulty.

If you like puzzles and you liked the first game, you should like this one. If you are a puzzle traditionalist, go buy a real, physical, tabletop puzzle since you might not like the fact that you can’t rotate pieces or put pieces together outside the main puzzle itself. However, being able to rotate pieces would also make the puzzle much more difficult for a number of reasons.

My only complaints are the same as the first game. The boards and some areas of the puzzles can be very dark, making it hard to even see if a piece is missing. And you can still just move pieces all over the board until they finally find a home.
