I love this game. But as Monopoly stands right now, I have to give the game a negative review. For a multitude of reasons. (The only good thing is Thank-God it’s basically a FREE game)! But the negative reviews DON’T LIE!

Bottom Line Issues:

1. The disconnecting issues have been brought up by many, but never fixed. The BS ‘Hotfives’ did absolutely nothing.

2. In the beginning of the game, you still land on Milan. And then Sydney…and so on. This was brought up by many, but never fixed. Once, maybe twice have I ever found this to be different…And when so, 1st roll lands on Lost Island…What a Treat!

  • You are able to play with your friends for only 24 hours (except 2v2 against randoms), after that you gotta subscribe for $1 a month. bullshhhhhhhht

  • Queuing with a friend means nothing - most of the time you play 2v2 against the friend you queued with

  • It’s P2W

  • If a friend disconnects due to some issues, he cannot reconnect

also.. wtf are those bots AI :-D my friend disconnected due to internet connection problems, her bot jumped on chance - give up a city to opponent. well guess which city the bot gave to the enemy team? ofc the one who was worth the most and had hotel, which lead us to lose.

Monopolist: Technological Revolution

Monopolist: Technological Revolution

It’s a bad clone of Monopoy with poor camera controls and occasionally poor English.

Poor imitation of the Monopoly game.

The entire board was only 3/4 visible to the player.

REMEMBER to Press:

  1. Ctrl F or

  2. Ctrl C

  3. It will allow you to follow the characters as they move along the board.

  4. You can toggle between the macro picture of the entire board and micro picture of where you car is at.

Without doing 1 Or 2, you got zero chance of playing the game as you are flying blind on the board via the default display.

During the play:

I can’t feel the satisfaction of earning Income or Rent from my properties.

This game is so much fun for the whole family! You get to roleplay as Mr. Monopoly man’s henchmen; people are saying that the game is glitchy and crashes a-lot, but I disagree! It only crashes when you SUCK at the game haha. Anyway, I totally recommend this game for any hard-core video gamers, but also casuals alike! Bots are really fun to play with because they make me feel adequate in my life.

I just don’t understand the hate for the game. Mr. Monopoly gave me this nice Kool-Aid and everytime I play the game I just have a blast… :) 10/10

The game is great but there is one problem. The NAT type problem. For some reason this game has a weird system where most of the time you have a strict NAT type which means you can’t join online games with friends so it locks you out of the fun part of the game. Additionally Ubisoft have done nothing so far and you have to port forward whatever it is in your router in order to fix it. This is the only game that has this problem. No other game has this problem to what I believe. The main game is great but connecting is the biggest problem this game has.

TL;DR

9/10: The greatest board game ever? Will gladly go many laps around the board trying not to lose money and waste time before I make money and perfectly manage time… Even if many of the achievements appear to be bugged and the English grammar and syntax give the game an unprofessional feel. Thank you for the important life lessons in time management.

Overview

Hooray for this being ol' Il Pallino’s 100’th. review! Take the best features of money-making board games and remove the attrition-based nature of Monopoly, and add-in some great concepts that couldn’t be worked out in a physical board game, and you have Timeflow. The objective is to work towards one of many types of ambitions while using a pre-made character with all sorts of strengths and weaknesses. (Or custom-made character if one chooses.) One to four players may play, and the player who achieves their ambition first is the winner. Time is everything! without enough time on their hands, players cannot start new businesses or get some education, and if a player doesn’t have enough time at the end of the month, the player has to pay a financial penalty proportionate to the income that they earn.

It’s like the adult version of the Game of Life. Played for hours on normal version yesterday. I have to say while it’s in it’s early stages, it’s a pretty well thought out game. I do think there could be more random instances, but it kept my attention for hours. I am still working on buying that dream home.

Now I am less inclined to enjoy the stocks, it seemed for a long time they never got high enough and then when I was finally interested in really buying and selling most of them were way too out of reach and never came back down. Perhaps it’s realistic. It would be real interesting if you could make character changes as lifes ups and downs come at them. I am surprised there isn’t a Win the Lotto or play the lottery option.

Language errors all over the place.I found the tutorial not very clear, especially for such a simple game. I have only played the solo mode so far and the displayed AI move is so fast I cant work out what is happening most of the time. Gradually I am getting used to it but this implementation is much harder to follow than it needs to be. Layout of the screen is also in need of improvement.

Cannot recommend at its full cost at this stage.

A nice, ultra-lean spin on the worker placement genre. I haven’t had the chance to play the online yet, but the solo game is pretty challenging so far and goes extremely fast. Each round I’ve played so far I’ve pieced together a bit more of a strategy and it has that “can’t quite do everything you want on your turn” feel that’s the hallmark of a good worker game. My only complaint is the music is very repetitive and while you can turn it off, the game feels a little empty without anything in the backgroud, but otherwise this is a great digital board game. I love that this has cross-platform as well, in my opinion you can’t have a digital board game without that.

The Hustle

The Hustle

The Hustle is an open-world board game where you can go anywhere - anywhere - to build your fortune from the bottom up.

  • Go Left, Go Right, Do Whatever - winners don’t respect board game conventions. Winners cut through the middle of the board and tell Candyland to shove it.

  • Meddle with Forces Beyond Your Ken - Every round, players vote to change one rule about the game. Adjust your strategy to succeed, or get left in the dust!

  • Don’t call it “Bribery!" - That’s the invisible hand of the free market shoving $100 into your jeans.

  • Ruin Real-Life Friendships - Cut the dead weight from your social group in classic board-game style!

  • Build a Legacy - Will you be remembered a Miser? A Titan of Industry? A Peasant? Every smart move is another scene in your Oscar-winning biopic, and every dumb move is another shovelful of dirt in your stupid, stupid, anonymous grave.

This game was not quite what I expected. It was really a game that let you click some buttons and watch the numbers go up. I put in 7 hours, but it was more of a set it and forget situation. Regardless of the “deal”, this game really was a time waster. If that is what you want, a true time waster, with no actual reward, then go for it.
