Kingslayers
Kingslayers is a free-to-play online multiplayer tactical strategy game with both standard turn-based and chaotic “delayed execution” game modes. Choose from various units and skills to build your ideal team formation then outsmart your opponent to slay their King before they slay yours. Additional units and traits can be unlocked giving endless opportunities to customize and theory craft different formations and strategies.
Destroy It
“Destroy it” is like a developer test room with only one function: Ragdoll collision. Choose from two houses and a satellite to destroy, click and drag your mannequin, then realize the money spent was a waste. I’d consider this at risk of removal for being some sort of potential asset flip.
Lacking any sort of features or customization, the application opens to a menu with three structures to choose from. Once selected, the said structure spins wildly next to a limp dummy you’re intended to control. No on-screen instructions explain how to do this, but it’s not difficult to discover that the mouse serves to anchor and pull him into the building. There is no environment to speak of, just a large void atop an infinite plane. You can control the camera with WASD keys and rotate with the right mouse button. And that’s about it.

The Warlock of Firetop Mountain
If you’re a fan of the old Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks from the 1980s, a fan of fantasy boardgames , a fan of the sword and sorcery genre in general or better yet, all three, then this game would be right up your street.
Anybody who has played the original 1982 Gamebook on which this game is based will enjoy all that is familiar here as they tiptoe past sleeping orc sentries, take on sadistic goblin torturers, barter with the grumpy ferryman at the underground river, face down a fire-breathing dragon and even tackle the infamous Maze of Zagor itself - not to mention the final showdown with the titular Warlock. All of this is accompanied by the original illustrations by Russ Nicholson - which can now be viewed in colour if you wish (just click the picture to switch between monochrome and colour).

An excellent adaptation of the grandfather of gamebooks. Rather than making a straightforward gamebook adaptation like they usually do, Tin Man chose to deviate from their usual formula and make something that’s closer to Inkle’s Sorcery! - expanded and modified story, heavily tinkered gameplay. It works really well.
- They kept the original Russ Nicholson illustrations and commissioned Russ Lolwordfilter Nicholson himself for new ones. I have trouble writing the rest of this review because of how I love his work.

WARTILE
Edit: I’ve won the game and it is pretty fun. The key factor to realize is that the archer is the most important character using the volley card. Once you get used to the game I really like the concept but it was challenging to mentally adjust to the different style of game (cool down vs turn based) coming from the turn based world. Using the slow down feature is essential until you get up to speed. On the higher levels it is absolutely critical to use the slow down feature to dodge tough opponents as them attack.

Tabletop quest for the Sagas
Wartile is a strategy game allowing the player to take command of a Norse warband on a quest to save their land from a mysterious plague. Developed by a very aptly named danish studio PlaywoodProject, the game plays as a miniature wargame. Each character in Wartile is represented by a wooden figurine, battling their way across adorably detailed dioramas. While the game had visibly limited resources to work with, the developers have fully committed what they had towards an idea of tabletop game brought to life. An idea, in my book, they firmly delivered upon.
