Winter Polaris
Winter Polaris is created by stage-nana, the same dev who created the famous Narcissu, which I was VN I read 5 years ago, the very first and best one I have read ever. Since I am a reading person, the most noticeable thing is the story. The story has 2 parts, one was written by Kataoka Tomo, the same writer for Narcissu, and the 2nd part was written by another writer he collabed with. Due to what the author said, this is just an experimental work.
First, WP shares a similar style like the previous works, Narcissu and Rain Marginal, from writing style to art style. Even 30% of WP soundtracks are from Narcissu, but I find them very soothing and nostalgic, and of course it fits the story very well.

What an incredible story. It’s left me speechless and I’m not sure how to start this review as i haven’t felt this weird after reading something in a while…
Anyways, Winter Polaris (WP) is the latest work conceived by Kataoka Tomo, author of the acclaimed narcissu series. This time, instead of the story of those awaiting their deaths and what they leave behind, we’ll apparently take the opposite road to the same end: What should one live for, even if they’re
! somewhat bound to not die. So, you’d better come prepared with some tissues.

Jiangshi x Daoshi
I absolutely love this game! It uses a refreshing mix of static avatars & backgrounds, with frequent animation and motion comic action panels reminiscent of Dead Leaves. This gives the game an extremely dynamic feel, which makes up for the lack of choices. Like many Visual Novels, heavy emphasis is on the word Novel, as such, interaction in this game is mostly limited to hunting for words that the in-game hover-dictionary may explain for you.
Jiangshi X Daoshi boasts a rich story packed with fantastic Chinese mythology/historical information, with a wholesome dynamic between the main characters.

Please be mindful that this is the censored version uploaded to steam.
I wish to bring awareness to this. Apparently this VN was banned upon submission because of certain scenes and they’ve fought tooth and nail the bring it back for us to enjoy. Bans usually mean end of the line for most games from what I have heard. I’ve went back in to check most of these scenes and they aren’t even close to becoming questionable. Zeliria Sanctuary
Zeliria Sanctuary, produced by Salangan Games, is a visual novel that I had the pleasure to play as tester during these Christmas Holidays.
Allow me to start this brief review with this consideration: the team delivers what it promises.
The game did not disappoint my expectations in terms of plot, characters and quality of the drawings.
Especially the final arts in “ realistic style “, truly stunning.
Let’s talk about the plot: when people play a visual novel, they like to be the architects of their own fate, they like to feel as if their choices matters. And they do, in Zeliria Sanctuary.

MAXX : And I’m NOT an Idiot!!
Maxx (our Male forces-trained protagonist) is a test subject during an experimental space project that seemingly fails for the researchers yet our adventures start when Maxx’s teleportation sends him landing onto the BURROW of the hibernating Salangan Humkey (the Rat who isn’t a Hamster Deity) on the planet Zeliria. Only Maxx can see & hear Humkey and, as the story develops and Maxx encounters female characters, he becomes known as the ‘Voice of Salangan Humkey’ - akin to a Messiah-like role.
