Just Cause 2
Introduction

How I Found Out About “Just Cause 2”
The same way I found out about a lot of games, from YouTube. I randomly came across a video that was showing someone driving a vehicle off of a tall snowy mountain. The crash and destruction effects made me fall in love. See, I’ve always loved destruction in games/movies/etc. So when I see something like that, I know I must own the game.

If you’re looking for a detailed Just Cause 2 review then you’re at the right place.
Pros
+Just Cause 2 is the very definition of how a sandbox game should be made. Avalanche Studios mastered the art of creating huge open world simulators that lead them to Just Cause 3, Mad Max, Rage 2 and even new IPs.
+At 400km sq. JC2 features one of the largest open world maps ever! Everything is highly detailed, and diverse. Also, there are no loading screens unless you want to fast travel or participate in missions. There’s just so much to explore. From big cities to tropical islands, exotic beaches, sandy deserts, tall mountains, cold regions, dense forests and enemy bases. JC2 has it all!

Klang 2
Playing this game for 59 hours, I definitely can say I adore this game. Being the first person to review this game (probably), along with getting the first two PFC’s on 60hz on two of the hardest songs in the game on fast mode (in beta release), the gameplay is insanely addicting and the music is a real banger.
The gameplay is incredibly simple with only swipes, taps, and holds, but has a fairly deep and challenging execution, especially on keyboard and mouse. Fast mode accentuates this even more, with tight timings and fast-approaching notes.

[Won a beta key in a wishlist milestone giveaway, did some pre-launch testing.]
I have been waiting for this game to come out for five years, and did it meet my expectations?
holy fuck yes it did
Klang 1 held a very special place in my heart for mostly sentimental reasons, along with it feeling like a one of a kind experience. I have no idea how to properly express how that game makes me feel, but it was incredible. However, it lacks polish; a playthrough without encountering any bugs whatsoever is probably impossible.

Epistory - Typing Chronicles
TIME TO EDIT THE EARLY ACCESS REVIEW FOR A COMPLETE REVIEW
I knew about Epistory before it was put in Early Access because Pedago-tic ASBL (I work there) happened to be among those who organized a game jam in Belgium, with Fishing Cactus. So, I heard about Epistory at that time and waited for the release.
Unfortunately, real life got in the way and I only bought the game during the last Winter Sales. I’m testing it now and writing a review.
Epistory is a game where you’re a young girl on a giant fox, without memories, until she realizes that something bad will happen and that she will be the one that will restore the world around her.

Epistory - Typing Chronicles is the gamer’s dream program for practicing touch typing or for improving typing in general. The game does not teach from the ground up, so this is not to teach the player how to type, but it certainly does a good job in keeping the player typing when playing.
This is a RPG game in a typing format. The background story is that a fictional writer is having some writer’s block, and you are her muse. You control the young girl riding a red fox and traverse the world to help the writer find her inspiration. As you move around, lines from the writer show up. Sometimes she write something good, sometimes bad. Sometimes she questions herself, and it all gets imprinted onto the world that you are walking around in. You help out the writer by collecting fragments and inspiration points.

Descenders
A great game that feels very rewarding without being a huge time sync. You can hop on for an hour or so and have a alot fun and actually make progress. The trick system play similar to the Skate series, where you use stick position and bumper combos to pull off a variety of tricks. As far as progression its rogue-like, you can only crash so many times in a run before you go back to start, although you will get cosmetic items based on points at the end of the run. There are multiple levels that you unlock, plenty of bike-parks to cut your teeth on and have fun with. Plus a very solid soundtrack to accompany you throughout the game. Worth the full price in my opinion!

If you enjoyed roguelike or extreme sports games, you will like this game. The game is just straight up fun. This is not a racing game, it’s a freeride downhill biking game. You can choose whether you played it safe or take the risk to do the crazy stunts you want to do. The developer is also constantly updating this game with new stuff like cosmetics or new bike parks or even a whole new challenges. This is really the best biking games to have ever existed.
