A Juggler’s Tale
Some comparisons have been made to games like “Little Nightmares”, and at first, that seemed far fetched, but it actually turned out to be kinda true: even though this game isn’t nearly as horror-themed, there are several scenes which are moody and scary and also involve chase sequences.
The story itself is presented as an actual story, with the narrator doing a great job setting the tone and also, sometimes, explaining what to do if the player ever gets stuck. The mechanics and riddles might not be that innovative to players who are familiar with these kinds of games, but for newcomers, there are several tricky parts. I especially struggled with some of the scenarios, but managed to solve them without needing to look anything up online. So, if I can do it, pretty much everyone can do it. There are even some nice conceptual twists thrown in, with drastic turns you might not expect. It has an undeniable meta-quality to it, and the game takes good advantage of that.

A very entertaining and beautiful puzzle adventure game, but solutions are a little obvious and game time could be longer.
A Juggler’s Tale is a charming fairy tale adventure with puzzle and platform elements.
Abby, is being held hostage. Confined in a cage, she is only released to perform circus tricks for scraps of food. The ring master is mean and domineering, and her life is tedious and unfulfilled.
All she wants to do is break free from her prison and see the world.

The Procession to Calvary

An absolutely fantastic game that’s just dripping with style. It’s borrowed style, but in this case that’s even better! Watch classic paintings come to life to tell an absolutely ridiculous story. Perfect for Easter (in a deeply-irreverent sort of way)!
Put more directly, the art is top-notch, the animation is hilarious, and the (also-borrowed) musical pairings are perfect.
The puzzles are all fair, ranging from several strictly-logical affairs to a handful of clever head scratchers. Nothing is so difficult or random that it should drive you to a walkthrough, and I suggest you avoid looking up the solutions to any puzzles lest you shorten your total gameplay. (If you ever get stuck, just revisit areas you haven’t been to recently and look at things fresh. That should generally do the trick.)

hyperbole….“You wasted amazing on a basket of chicken wings!?” This game is hilarious. Some of the dialogue is so funny I made a noise out loud. There are some strange references. The descriptions of the paintings in the gallery were fantastic. The game’s humour is on point for the kind of folks that have an interest in British humour or enjoy intelligent sarcasm.

VIP Rebels
" The horn sounds…, the gate opens,… YOUR RUN STARTS NOW! …"
How to play
You will start each game selecting three VIPs, each with their own unique special skill. After you select your VIP, you start your run. Whenever you start a run, you’ll choose how many villagers you use to collect resources like wood, food, and gold. The villagers drop resources at your treasure wagon and look for new sources automatically throughout the run.
When the gate opens, you will enter the procedurally generated lands of the Red, where you’ll need to get as far as you can in order to claim the best rewards. Venture further and further and more secret rewards and treasure will be granted.
You’ll have VIPs such as King Midas who has the ability to turn enemies into gold, the Viking, a dragon-summoning Nordic god, Blackbeard the pirate, ordering deadly cannonballs to obliterate enemies, or the Rocket Man with the power to land two rockets simultaneously on top of your enemies. These are just a few of the 25 VIPs that you’ll encounter along the way. More are planned and I’m looking to bring this number closer to 100.
There are big pirate armies that lie ahead of you, with bands of rebels hidden away in bushes and villages to slow your progress. Whether castles stand in the way or not, you will need to overcome the odds and create an army with the right mixture of units to counter the enemies ahead of you. Will you pick archers to mow down the slow infantry and risk them being charged down by cavalry? The choice is yours.
Once you finally get stopped, you’ll collect treasure and rewards, unlock, and upgrade more VIPs and return to the open gate once more.

I started out wanting to create an RTS game for the Age of Empires fan inside me that doesn’t have the ability to sink hours into playing a game. The game is a bunch of quick fun runs, intertwined with big battles and resource gathering. On average, each run should take between 10 and 15 minutes.

Townsmen - A Kingdom Rebuilt
Townsmen is what I imagine a poor mobile clone of The Settlers Online would look and play like.
The art is actually pretty nice and seemingly inspired by Settlers Online and similar browser-based timer games. Unfortunately, the gameplay is based directly on those kinds of games as well, while implementing some of the worst practices of mobile games to boot. This makes it an okay time waster for mobile users if you can’t afford anything better, but a truly terrible experience on PC.
The user interface is a mobile-only monstrosity. Nothing here is designed for screens larger than 10". Between enormous icons popping up in a scrolling list and giant buttons on-screen at all times, this is the definition of a low effort mobile port. Made worse by everything being hidden behind buttons and sub-sub-menus that contain next-to-no content. This due to fonts sized for people who’ve given up on being able to read anything even with reading glasses. Even basic features like building rotation are missing because mobile screens apparently can’t handle that many giant buttons on screen at once. The build menu is also cluttered with DLC buildings even if you don’t own the DLC in order to motivate players to buy said DLC, a classic scummy mobile game move.

I am a big fan of townsmen games on java mobiles, I’ll say yeah this game is okay. I’m being honest with you I don’t really like the new vector style, even so, it’s enough for the current era. you know what my favorite ? look at this link . You see? that game is better than this. why ? first, the old game like townsmen 6 when you upgrade your building the building sprite will change. Unlike this steam version you only get new stars on its detail page. yeah this game it’s worth since it can scale to big resolution but no one can beat townsmen 6. :)

OVERALL: 9/10
This is a gem ! I don’t how steam did it but it finally succeeded in recommending me a true unique niche game that actually had me interested straight away. If you have a soft spot for the renaissance period this game is an experience to witness! A wonderful little world based off of many real paintings (from Bosh, Bruegel to quote a few) mixed and mashed together in an incredible way ! It’s gorgeous and the music is also top notch suiting every scene. The game is a clever no nonsense point click with a great sense of humor and self awareness. It even remembers me the tone of the monty python’s Holy grail. It sadly is way too short but as an indy project which was made by 1 man only I think, I strongly recommend you support this game if it intrigues you in anyway. And hopefully another project of this kind will emerge.

Who knew committing the seven deadly sins could be so fun!
Four Last Things is a comedic point’n’click adventure game entirely composed of renaissance paintings. In Four Last Things, you play as a man who must do all seven deadly sins over again so that he can confess and be forgiven by a specific parish. It’s an inter-church bureaucracy thing, you understand. The humour here is very similar to Monty Python, and I’d consider this a must have for Monty Python fans.

Magic Lessons in Wand Valley - a jigsaw puzzle tale
A lovely puzzle game with a simple story to go along with the wonderful colours and excellent design. This is a game for jigsaw puzzle fans. There are only six separate pictures, and the challenge comes from playing with more and more pieces. The artwork is outstanding, especially if you like the fantasy genre (wizards in particular). This game could be suitable for younger players at the 135-piece level; however, there is enough depth to entertain experienced puzzlers.

I really like this jigsaw puzzle game. The illustrations are beautiful and tell a simple but nice story. The modes with different amount of pieces lets you play for many hours. The music is very comforting and keeps you in the mood. It has some nice features to help setting up the puzzles. The entire series from the studio is worth playing. Recommended!

Banished
Great game. It’s not so much about managing towns, more about whether or not people survive your town managing skills. Have fun.

To me Banished set a golden standard for city builder/ colony sim games. There wasn’t anything especially new or innovative for the genre, but the mechanics and elements of the game just came together really well and the end-product was so polished. The graphics were something different, most games in this genre don’t focus on that much and usually have more simplistic pixel type graphics. This had a much more realistic look, which I thought was pretty cool.
A lot of city builder/ colony sim games have enemies that attack every so often or land you have to conquer. I like some of those games a lot, but I was also really intrigued by this one NOT having that and instead having nature as your enemy. Hunger, weather, temperature, natural disasters, etc. were your enemy instead. This focus on natural survival felt pretty original, though there are probably games that have done it before.

WARTILE
Edit: I’ve won the game and it is pretty fun. The key factor to realize is that the archer is the most important character using the volley card. Once you get used to the game I really like the concept but it was challenging to mentally adjust to the different style of game (cool down vs turn based) coming from the turn based world. Using the slow down feature is essential until you get up to speed. On the higher levels it is absolutely critical to use the slow down feature to dodge tough opponents as them attack.

Tabletop quest for the Sagas
Wartile is a strategy game allowing the player to take command of a Norse warband on a quest to save their land from a mysterious plague. Developed by a very aptly named danish studio PlaywoodProject, the game plays as a miniature wargame. Each character in Wartile is represented by a wooden figurine, battling their way across adorably detailed dioramas. While the game had visibly limited resources to work with, the developers have fully committed what they had towards an idea of tabletop game brought to life. An idea, in my book, they firmly delivered upon.

Finding the Soul Orb
Finding the Soul Orb is another Tonguc Bodur walking simulator game with an element of combat involved. You are a sniper taking out werewolves, so not suitable for children!
Lush graphics are a given with Tonguc’s games and this is no exception. A lot of the combat is underground or at night, so it is a relief to come to the surface to a beautiful environment. The game is pretty linear and stepping on glowing circles activates the story.
The music was really lovely and during combat, intensified one’s experience. I didn’t find this game as relaxing as Tonguc’s other walking sims. The combat jarred a bit with me, but that is just me.

A scenic journey through an imaginative story of Werewolves and Wizards
Tonguc’s style of story telling through his beautifully detailed and surreal worlds is unique and lovingly crafted with each new game he releases. Here, you follow the story of various characters having to deal with their village under attack from Werewolves and neighbouring countries, corruption, and a touch of wizardry.
He continues to experiment, adding new features with each title. Combat is introduced for the first time, though being a simpler more basic form of it. It was a good step in the right direction, and I hope he uses this knowledge and grows with it for future games.

Gedonia
For one, the developer really cares about this game and it’s still being updated. Two, currently it’s on sale and it’s definitely worth more than what it is, even normal price. If you want a fresh Indie RPG with a nostalgic feeling, character customization, and open world; this it it. Will update my review in the future.

Still playing and it’s amazing. Finally got to building my house, it’s a bit quirky with the editing and camera controls, but it will only get better. I haven’t even touched Dungeon mode which has an increased level cap compared to Open World, so if you’re into Dungeon Crawlers; well this has a mode just for you.

Some people are be nostalgic for the 8 and 16 bit era, and there are a ton of Metroidvania and platforming games shoveled onto PC and propped up by paid reviews. Gedonia is something else, and it made me so happy. Rather than the more common rip on the Genesis, Gedonia is like a lost gem from the original X-Box era, in the realms of Galleon or Kameo. There are a lot of simplified, modern touches, but the purity of the game and fantasy genre is endearing. It’s like finding out there was a 3D Zelda game you missed, gameplay wise.
